Twas four years after '08, and all through the States,
Not a person was wealthy, not even BIll Gates.
The handouts were mailed out to all who did vote,
and came neatly packed in a earth-friendly tote.
The jobless and poor were asleep in their beds, while visions of rebates danced in their heads.
And 'Bama in his office and Joe at his chair, had just finished packing--the White House lay bare.
When out on the lawn, arose such a fright, "Biden, calm down, it's just Reverend Wright."
Away went Obama, right down the stairs, toward Flagger, Resko, and even Bill Ayers.
"We did it!" they shouted, with voices so glee, "What made America great shall no longer be!"
"Wait, what's that sound?" they soon did mutter
"Republicans coming to take it back from the gutter?"
With an emboldened leader, so trusted and strong,
They knew their socialism now would be gone.
.......more to follow......Please, I know it needs work but I did this in less than 10 minutes.....

"Odds against you? Call the Equalizer". I recently ordered one of the best shows from the 1980s (of which my wife informed me she was only a few years old when it premiered) from Amazon/com. I bought it Sunday, paying no shipping and also cutting $30 off the purchase, and received it yesterday. I say "Kudos" to Amazon. How they stay in business is none of my business I guess (sorry to use that word twice). At any rate, the show is The Equalizer. It focuses on a man, former CIA, who tries to remedy his civilizan life by resigning from the CIA and trying to repair relations with his family. He decides to put the rest of his life to good use and assist those in desperate situations. One of the first people he helps is a woman who is being stalked by a crazed young man. He is very sleek, very intelligent, and does what needs to be done to protect the victims, even when the police fail. I highly recommend this show. If you have seen it, let me know as it appears it is only me. There is some violence in it but it is chopped down quite a bit and the language is not apparent. Keep in mind, the 1980s were the Amish version of color (the Amish do not typically use color and look down on it and the 1980s had a strict editing process when putting things on TV, at least for a while). How they made a gritty and dirty show without the over use of blood, guns, sex, and profanity and yet made it great is something TV execs should look into. It can be done. The question is: who will you turn to--I say The Equalizer!

By looking at the polls, I can confidently say that I am gong to sleep sound tonight. I think, however, that most Americans will or should not. I, again judging by the polls, unlike most Americans voted with my soul, heart, and mind and not just my wallet or need for hand-outs from our government. What this elections says is this: America has definitely fallen off the map from being anywhere near Truth-oriented (Bible believing that is) and has turned into France II. We expect Mr. Givernment to take care of our every need and do not care for the cost. Got fired and need insurance? Sure, I'll use my tax money and pay for it. Need an avortion because you are too selfish to use protection? Sure, I will pay for that too. What? You are on food stamps, own a plasma TV but need more money? Sure, I will use my tax money to send you a stimulus check. What was that? You are dirt poor and continue to pop out kids like the Duggers (though they have plenty of money). I will see my taxes increase to send your kids to school. How anyone with a brain, even one brain cell, can look at this 'man's' (I put that in quotes because anyone who consistently lies, takes a stand so radical as to oppose legislation that would rescue a baby who was a victim of a botched abortion is really no man at all) plans and agree with them is insane. Here are three things that will happen:
1) Taxes are going to skiy rocket in order to pay for a socialized society (healthcare, college tuition, and anything else people are too lazy to do on their own)
2) Any vote by the people in their states (whether it be a vote to protect marriage, ban partial-birth aboriotn where they suck the brains out of a baby's head as it is entering the birth canal among other things, or to lower proprty taxes) will be nullified by the Supreme Court of which Obama Bin Biden will appoint a few justices (hmmm, he is friends with Ayers whose group killed Amiericans on our own soil, befriends Jeremiah Wright who says G-D America, and also called his own grandmother a racist)--who do you think he will appoint, George Soros??!
3) We will be attacked. Even Joe Biden said that we will be tested in ways unimaginable by other nations when Obama is sworn in. His idea of dealing with terrorists is serving on a board of trustees with them...and 'talking' with them. Someone tell me what happened when England 'talked' with Hitler? Better yet, ask Poland.
4) Healthcare as we know it will cease to exist. Socialized care is not good. It's not good for anyone. Ask anyone on WIC or ChIP and they will tell you about the limitations it carries and the wait. Last time I checked, America was a FREE MARKET and a capitalist nation...we are not the Soviet Union or France.
5) Obama will bankrupt our country by trying to live up to all his phony "Yes We Can!" promises. How can we pay for everything he claims he will do without drastically increasing taxes. Just a by the way point, does anyone care that he is a millionaire and not a Joe Shmo? This new breed of Left-Wing politics is dangerous and will without a doubt ruin our contry morally and economically. For those who voted with their wallets and not their soul and conscience, shame on you!
TWO more years to change things for better...that is when we can try and turn things around again. Just watch your pay stub change with Obama's plan and then see who you should vote in in 2010 (congressional votes). Don't say I didn't warn you.
Romans 1:18 "For God's wrath is being revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness and wickedness of those who in their wickedness suppress the truth."

A lot of people (and by a lot, I mean more than the amount of people who have season tickets to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays games) use Facebook. I am by no means a slouch when it comes to technology. Sure, I doubt we ever landed on the moon (cripes, I hear guys are trying to make metal cylinders to send into the air and for people to travel on). I may not be a fan of ATVs, and I still think that the TurboGrafix was awful. With all that said, I decided to embark on the mission of Facebook. I know most people love the cool buttons you can put on the boards BUT it is the WORST site if you are trying to locate and add friends. PERIOD! FIrst, if you search by name, chances are you won't find them. Searching by school is worse since you can't sort it by names, dates, race, religion, sex, blood type, hair color, whether they still are singing 'This is the Song that Never Ends'.......it stinks! I looked up my college. Fair enough, only 25 people go there on a yearly basis so how hard could it be? It listed people from HIGH SCHOOLS that start with 'Valley'. I selected Valley Forge Christian COLLEGE (granted, it is basically like graduating a high school). Then, I couldn't even find my wife until I realize you could also search via e-mail. Why have this option? People have dozens of addresses. By the time you enter the right one, you will have missed the premiere of Super Marios Brother 2 The Movie: Game Over that you have been waiting for since the first one opened (and closed too). Basically, Facebook has nothing great to offer (except my wifey). Listen, keep using it and send many buttons to your friends but I am not impressed yet. It takes a lot to impress me too, just look at my profile picture of the Bib-Removal....that takes class.

Main Street Up in Arms
Friday October 17, 2008 8:21 PM EST
by Leon Harper Duttonville Local News
Duttonville--This is small, rural America at its best. Billy's Beef 'n Burgers has been the local hangout for teens since opening in 1933. William "Big Tex" Filmer has run the restaurant since his father retired in 1987. He is one of the angry business owners who is fired up after watching the last presidential debate. "I wouldn't vote for either one of them," he said while fixing up a plate of Heart-Stopping Gravy Fries ($4.99 a side). He's telling the truth too, since he admits to not voting except for best apple pie at the 4H fair in 1978. "Things are tough, but enough with the Main Street talk...we don't need the help!" Both canidates have been referring to 'Main Street USA' since the economic meltdown some weeks ago. It has been a Main Street v. Wall Street campaign through and through. What's the problem? "We ain't need ntohing--life's good here," says Debbie Clarke of D's Beauty Salon and Snack Shack. Since opening her store on Main Street in Duttonville, she has been able to double the size of her home. "A double-wide sure beats a single any day...you know, they have two flushers!" She is mad too. Debbie has seen business drop 24% since Obama and McCain have been namedropping her street. "People are just scared is all; Who wants to visit a street that is supposed to be on the brink of disaster?" Across town, there is another problem. Tony Fisher, Big Fish Funeral Home ('Where the big ones can never get away!') may have to close his furnace for good. He moved to Duttonville from New Orleans after the disaster (Ricky Williams ruining a team that had a shot for the playoffs) and now may have to close. "See, people don't see the missing 'l', they just hear Wall and pay m mind." Duttonville is a paradox of sorts. Both streets, Main Street and Wal Street run parallel to each other. "We figured by dropping the second L people may realize that we are not to blame." Mayor George Alberts continues to struggle with the issue of 'disassociation.' "Our Wal Street is not to blame for the financial crisis. People have got to know that. The real Wall Street is in New York." People may know that but it hasn't helped bring back business. "People are scared is all," Debbie told me. Scared perhaps, but what will happen to this little town caught in the crossfire of campaign lingo? Can Duttonville survivie and the stores on both Main Street and Wal Street recover from the business lost due to this namedropping? Only time will tell. *As of the time of this publication, YulesHaul closed. The store served as a rent-a-sled store for the holidays where customers could rent a sleigh to deliver their presents. It openend on April 21st, 2008 and closed Friday morning. I bought a sled for $22--a steal on any street.

Let me tell you how it will be; There's one for you, nineteen for me. 'Cause I'm the taxman, Yeah, I'm the taxman.
Should five per cent appear too small, Be thankful I don't take it all. 'Cause I'm the taxman, Yeah, I'm the taxman.
(if you drive a car, car;) - I'll tax the street; (if you try to sit, sit;) - I'll tax your seat; (if you get too cold, cold;) - I'll tax the heat; (if you take a walk, walk;) - I'll tax your feet.
Now, in case you are wondering, those lines are NOT from Obama's presidential debates but from John Lennon and the Beatles. I have many many issues with Barry Hussein Obama. Anyone who has read a single thing this man has 'done' (and I think techinically, it would be a single thing--fleece the public) could not possibly support him. Let me ask you this--do you like making money and keeping it? If so, Obama is NOT your man. If you listen to what he says, he will have a program to fix everything. Who do you think will pay for everything? The taxpayer. It is sad to think that he actually believes that it is a required of Americans to not only pay higher taxes but to fork the bill for a national healthcare system. Of course, he will not label it that way. His answer for failing public schools is exactly what McCain said--throw more money at them. He cannot and will not reconstruct the schools and remove bad teachers because the Teachers Union supports Obama (as do 'former' terrorists, slum lords, and Matt Damon). He will, without a doubt, drive this country to the brink of a 2nd Depression with his spending. Has anyone actually researched why we are in this financial mess to begin with? THE DEMOCRATS! While McCain wanted reform, Barney Frank said everything was fine and he could see expanding Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae positions. While McCain was sounding alarms, Obama was taking money and giving money away to corrupot financial institutions. Ignoring his moral errors (being associates with a terrorist from the 60s who after the events of 9/11 said that he wished he would have done more in regards to bombings to his stance on partial birth abortion......let me stop right there. Obama said he would support partial birth if it endangers the health of the mother. Who determines that? Any woman who opts for an abortion to save her life should be ashamed. (By the way, my wife agrees on this principle.) Did Obama check his facts and realize that the cases where this occurs is less than 1%. The majority of abortions are not due to teenagers having babies. They are done for unwanted babies from people who could either put the child up for adoption or raise the baby but, gasp, not being so self-absorbed. What's ridiculous is that sex education is rampant in this country yet we have this problem. Pro-infanticide advocates will have you believe that it is because sex and safe sex is not taught enough in school (why would I trust the school system which even Dems agree is failing and where the pledge of allegiance is revoked in many areas). The fact is this: schools are overflowing with talks about sex and books and condoms. The issue is that our society has come to accept that anything that comes up in life that may interfere with their plans should be taken care of for them. THis goes for unwanted babies (how about practicing self control and not giving into every impulse when you lust after someone??) to healthcare (I have to pay for people who won't or can't find a job that has healthcare?) to college tuitions (I have to be taxed in order to cover college for every willing student in the United States to attend a liberal college and sit under a Ward Churchill??). Look, what I mean to say is this: if you want taxes that are through the roof and you want a society where we have programs to take care of you hand and foot day in day out, vote for Obama. If you believe that America is great and that PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY is the key to success, vote for McCain.

I just recently read a book (yes, there are people out there who still read and do not rely simply on *ugh* Coundown with Keith O. or even Verdict with Dan A. to name a few 'balanced' shows). The title of this book you ask? "Adam" by Ted Dekker. I have read quite a few Dekker novels so far. The Circle Trilogy (muy bien), Three, House (co-authored with Frank Peretti), and now Adam. Adam is a good book. I fall short of using the word 'great' due to some very specific reasons but it is worth reading. It follows an FBI agent who is tracking a very demented serial kiler by the name of "Eve". As the book unfolds, Eve takes the agent's ex-wife and the race is on. Unlike a Thomas Harris novel or even a Lincoln Rhymes (spelling?) story, Dekker evokes a very haunting portrayal of the supernatural in this book. What is evil truly capable of? By 'evil', I do not mean Al Queda, the Nazis, or anything of that nature. I am referring to what most 'learned' Americans fail to believe--Hell. Again, the literal Hell as definted by the Bible, the one book to hold up after thousands of years of critique, regardless of how it has come down. Dekker shows what could happen, or what does happen and we fail to see it daily. It will draw one to his/her knees and at least rethink their stance on life. Ultimately, the real hunt is for the human race. On one side, we have Christ who pour out His life for all and freely gives to all who ask. On the other, Lucifer with all the hate and evil one could muster, waiting for just the right moment to snatch us into the fire. Dekker delves into the evil and the love that the human heart can carry and, like us, the characters must make a choice.
Also, I recently made it through the first 5 hours of the 321 hour movie Silent Hill. Okay, it's not that long but it sure feels like it. It also feels like a game. I mean that it in a good way. This is without a doubt the strongest game-to-screen adaptation yet (sorry Double Dragon). The effects are eerie, the camerwork torn straight from game segments, and the acting wooden. Okay, the acting is rough but it still makes you feel creeped out beyond all belief. It behaves just like the game, flipping between both worlds of Silent Hill and keeps you wondering what will happen the next time the siren blows. Only recommedation: take a Bissell and vacuum up all that ash.
The Hill...I heard a great quote today which I will try and paraphrase. Why is it that John McCain who flew a jet and was a POW for YEARS has 'no experience' to be President when a literal freshman has what it takes? Are we really to believe that Obama chanting his mantra of "We Can Change" will make everything better? Change is not always good. In 1933, President Paul Von Hindenburg asked Hitler to become chancellor, head of the German government. He promised benefits to the peasants, workers, and the middle class. He knew the German public was weak and corrupted and would follow him because he was against the Weimar republic and the communists. After the war he settled down in Munich, Germany where he began his rise to power. Sounds like change, huh. Wonder how that turned out?

Scary movies (are they really scary though?) are a hobby of mine. Not stupid scary (i.e., 13th) but good scary (like Shaun of the Dead, 30 Days of Night). After seeing countless over my years, I have decided to write about a conclusion I have come to many many years ago--I would be not good to anyone should zombies come. I realize it is the duty of every man to protect the women and children around them. This is no exception to me. However, should zombies swarm down upon me, I would turn to jell-o, and then run (should I say ooze) out the door. I don’t feel shamed from this. The movies are to blame. The same movies where Josh Harnett injects vampire blood into him in order to same the remaining 5 people in his town. The type of movie where someone goes running through a town with a torch, screaming as a distraction, while the others make a run for it. Come on! Are we to believe that? Listen, if Freddie or anybody comes charging around looking for people, you better believe that I would be Benedict Arnold.
Freddie: Where is everyone?
Me: (Running up, trying not to act scared) Listen, I know you are bad but I can help you. Let me help you. I can get all the people to sleep that you want.
Freddie: (Smiles) Deal. Did I ever tell you about the dog with one arm who walks into a bar?
Me: Gee, why no..go ahead pal.
That’s how it would go down. I’m not a coward. I just choose not to fight a losing battle. Fighting anything like zombies or vampires is a losing battle (unless you have an extensive record collection to defeat the zombies with). First off, why get yourself killed when there is no need for it. Either your friends are going to die in these movies or eventually the bad guys leave. I suggest that while they are in your town, be nice to them. I would be first one running up to these guys (obviously zombies excluded in which case I would probably go ballistic and fight them too) and work with them. You may not last the whole way through, but at least you will make it, hopefully, to the end credits.

What is going on with you people (by ’you’ I mean most of the people on MySpace or most of the group in my friends list--not you top 8!)? Okay, why have a page if you don’t either write some blog or leave comments on other pages? Isn’t the whole point of MySpace to network? N-E-T-W-O-R-K! Let’s break that down a bit. First you have the word ’net’. That is a big thing that fishermen throw into the water, so we really don’t need to deal with that aprt. The next part is ’work’. That is simply what most people reading this aren’t doing right now BUT it is what people with pages on MySpace MUST do to interact with people. If I really wanted to keep track of mood changes, I would watch the View. I leave comments about pictures--nada. I leave remarks in bulletins that are titled directly at someone on this list--nada. I check out their pages--nada.
My point is simple--DO SOMETHING WITH YOU PAGE! I don’t mean you should change your background every night or update your song every single week. That is just annoying. Frankly, we wouldn’t need to know what books you like to read, what you watch on television, or what you listen to IF you did your job and wrote something on your page. Most people on your list already know your age, where you live, what you look like, and so forth. What we find ineresting are comments (face it, you check you page everyday or so just to see if someone messaged you) or blogs. Do your job and things will all be fine. I’m out.

Humeur actuelle : fâché
If you haven’t already, now would probably be a good time to put all your money in a shoe box in a closet or under your mattress. As most people know now (since they have missed the handwriting on the wall), we are about to embark on a recession. Of course, this crisis was due in part to people over-extending their debt, whether it was credit cards, loans, or ARMs (the killer of the housing market). There are many levels of concern here and I will try and address a few of them even though I need sleep (like Mao needed Marx):
1. Our government (not just Bush by the way--also blame the evil ones such as Boxer and Feintostealstein--keeps bailing out their cronies in Wall Street. How on Earth, with the defecit we face, are we writing off bad debt or paying for the mistakes of mortgage companies and banks? Here’s why: the same people who sit atop Wall Street (Goldman-Sachs forinstance) have also (or still do) perch above the Beltway! It has absolutely nothing to do with helping Joe Shmoe who overborrowed to buy a large house when they refinance ARMs and try and keep Joe in his house. It has everything to do with keeping the pockets lined of the bigwigs in D.C. and of Wall Street investment firms. Gone are the days when companies have to pay for their big mistakes, as long as those companies can buy seats in Congress. This means that you and I will eventually eat those costs, whehter it be higher taxes or higher interest rates (which have already come to pass).
2. The much anticipated stimulus package is on its way!! Wow. So taxes are going to go up along with prices, while at the same time we get a second refund this year. How is the government, already is head-over-heels debt, going to cover this cost? With our tax money of course! To make matters worse, who is the package going to stimulize? OUR ECONOMY? Hardly! Most everything we consume is manufactured outside the United States. WIth ’free trade’ (i.e., the trading of our companies to overseas), we have sold our sold for the lowest price Osh Kosh pants. So, when we spend our rebate on goods to boost our economy, that money will more than likely go to helping China, Taiwain, or Pakistan. Again, it will not help our falling dollar. Does anyone realize that we are running up the largest trade deficit in DECADES!! Pre-1970 was a completely different nation with real jobs in the country and most good being produced here. Not anymore. We opened our borders to every country and discontinued tarrifs on incoming goods so that we would benefit from cheap labor. The cost: MILLIONS of jobs being abadoned for workers overseas at $2/hour. Bottom line: we need to bring back taxes on imported goods (thus brining extra money into our country and government) and bring back companies PROUD to make products here. It is almost too late to save our country but not too late. (Incideintally, where are the liberal boycotters of the ’bigot Boy Scouts’ when clothes and goods arrive from China, where the government still imposes FORCED abortions on women who have too many children or the wrong gender??)
Just a last note, free trade is an oxymoron. Do you really think that China, without inposed tarrifs on their goods coming here, would really allow/push our goods into their country? They aren’t. Also, why is it that we are the only country who abides by civilized working conditions? We cannot compete unless the WTO/NAFTA/NATO imposes these healthy work conditions on all countries. The CEOs of former American greats do not care--they are exchanging our future for their present wealth. This cannot last too much longer. A nation without any industrial strenght or manufacturing presence will collapse. We will slowly become a country of service individuls wih a dollar worth less than the peso in the 1980s. Please, write your Congressman or Congresswoman and tell them that we need to impose tarriffs and leave the WTO until we get our house in order. We need to put ourself first and take care of our own citizens. Protectionism is not a curse word--it is a cure word at this time in our history. Thank you.
(Visit www.whitehouse.gov to e-mail President Bush about this issue. Tell our leader that we will not stand still any longer while our nation perishes to unemployment. Let’s get together and get our jobs back!)
