It has been a while since I posted something so I give you this. I went to lunch with some co-workers today and I ordered a bottled coke because I liked the bottle. Well I took the bottle with me and was thinking to my self "this is a great bottle for beer." So I decided to look online and see if I could get these bottles cheep since they would be used. The best price I could find was $5.00 (without shipping) per bottle. I did not even have to buy lunch but with coke in it the bottle was only $2.00. I am really tempted to go buy out all of their cokes and other bottles and e-bay them. The funniest thing is they are worth more with the liquid in them. Collectors are dumb!!! LOL

When darkness closes in I fall inside slowly drownn In flailing circles I embrace my death The world turns black and consumes me In the abyss I shed no tears Into the emptiness I have stared Only to see myself looking back From the womb I crawled To the grave I ran When darkness closes in I fall inside slowly drownn In flailing circles I embrace my death The world turns black and consumes me Called into the light but lost in the night Demons call and the angels cry Come oh sacred kiss of the abyss Swallow me and curse the light Drink me in and feel me, I am here When darkness closes in I fall inside slowly drownn In flailing circles I embrace my death The world turns black and consumes me

The Puppy
Last week I acquired a small puppy. She was a very cute little thing. But, last night she died. I cant help thinking about the thousands of things that I could have perhaps done. I knew when I got her that this could happen. My girlfriend and I gave her at least one more loving week. It is not so much the death of her that is bothering me now but just the hopes and happy thoughts that I had. Those too died with her.

Kind, yearning, playful, you are The Boy Next Door. You're looking for real Love, a lot like girls do. It might not be manly, but it's sweet.
We think the next three years will be very exciting and fruitful ones for you. Your spontaneous, creative side makes you a charming date, and we think you have a horny side just waiting to shine. Or glisten, rather. You enter new relationships unusually hopeful, and the first moments are especially glorious. If you've had some things not work out before, so what.
--> --> begin exact opposite table --> Your exact opposite: The 5-Night Stand ..http://is2.okcupid.com/graphics/persons/DBSMm_thumb.gif" vspace=7> Deliberate Brutal Sex Master
| --> --> end exact opposite table --> On paper, most girls would name the Boy Next Door as their ideal mate. In the real world, however, you're often passed over for more dangerous or masculine men. You're the typical "nice guy:" without just a touch of cockiness, you're doomed with girls. A shoulder to cry on? Okay, sure. But never a penis to hold.
More than any other type, Boys Next Door evolve as they get older. As we said, many find true love, but some fail miserably in the search. These tarnished few grow up to be The Men Next Door, who are creepy as hell, offering backrubs to kids and what not. ..http://is2.okcupid.com/graphics/square.gif">

Confounded as destiny awaits a draining thought and ponders death.
The world cries on a solitary whim as time follows time.
Wicked temptations writhe and grow from every breath.
Ancient weapons call killers my own being prime.
Ways of old and things new meet calling for purpose.
In each soul a killer is born with wrath in hand.
In every spirit a lover lies nurtured inside as it grows.
The warriors breathe ways heavy needing room to stand.
The lover within calls for sweet songs with a gentle embrace.
What are we but destinies thought of the warriors wind and lovers delight.

Slowness of the rescue effort in Louisiana: - Take into account that it is the local government of the state that has first response responsibility.
- The national guard is not a standing army it is a volunteer force that other than duty times is a normal set of man power. It takes time to mobilize them. Think to yourself if you got ordered to drop everything and go somewhere how long would it take you to get your affairs in order? Equipment is spread out over the country for a reason. What if all of our equipment was under that water? Strategically the best place to have things is not just one place.
- The area being affected is not just one city it is a swath of damage three states wide. There are no roads left in some parts of that area and those have to be repaired before supplies and help can get through.
- Once you have roads, manpower and equipment those have to routed to locations. Those supplies need to be provisioned and fed as well.
- Places have to be found for all of those that have been evacuated. That to takes a lot of organization and manpower.
Other Facts: - Louisiana’s national guard is not mostly deployed to Iraqi. Most of them are there as well as there amphibious equipment. WHY WOULD THEY NEED THAT MUCH ANPHIBIOUS EQUIPMENT IN A DESERT.
- Rescue workers are getting shot at (Certainly would slow me down)
- If you tried to UPS the same goods that are getting there it would take a lot longer.
- New Orleans sits 15 feet below sea level and on a normal day has a group of pumps running just to keep it from flooding.
- New Orleans is surrounded by water and this was going to happen eventually. PBS did a special on just this thing happening months ago.
- The people were warned days in advance to get out of there. There was ample time to walk out.
If you take into account the whole of what is going on in that region I am amazed that things are moving so quick. It is fool hardy to believe that they could do all of this in a day. Weather you like it or not your safety and well being is up to you. If you do not have bottled water, food, and batteries to last you at least a week in your house you might want to think about getting it. Know the area that you live in make sure that you know the things that could happen. For instance I live in New Mexico so here we should always have extra water for yourself and your car in the winter always have extra blankets in the car. One of the things I like about living here is the lack of plausible natural disasters. If you live near a large river be prepared for a flood. If you live in Florida are you really surprised that another hurricane is going to come? If you live in a place know as tornado alley make sure you have a plan because you might have A TORNADO COME THROUGH! Finally you never know how bad something is going to be until after it has happened. If you spend millions of dollars every time there is a chance you get hounded for it. Also you never know what you will need until after the fact. It is not the responsibility of any one man but a large group of people that need to get things done.

In dreams I can feel her touch, and awake I smile so very much. I am lost and I really don’t care, as long as I look and she is there. In a kiss I swirl an happily spill, the world and time with me still. In each moment enveloped by bliss, hoping that more I never will miss.

Carefully marked your choices in benediction should be for a true man holds his words no matter the cost. Fair weather is a tiding of good times and the foul weather is a reminder of what we have. It is foolish to assume in short time the outcome of what youth has little experience with. However tempting it may be to assume all will forever be well. The world is a fool’s paradise at first short glance but the new becomes old and the grand cheapened by experience. This world is a playground of the wise for all time and in its twisting turns, ups and downs you find not grandeur but true beauty. All of this being said I ask but one simple question. After the new has become old and the abundant monotony will you still be able to wake up and fall in love again and find the joy in what you have?
I can answer yes and continue to find more gleaming splendor in life that will not fade. If you find it and it will have you take it and it will be yours. If you miss it you will only get to see what you missed and if you chose poorly there is regret.

What folly partakes in youth becomes wisdom in age.
Let not the world swallow hope and turn it to rage.
Remember to let come what comes and go what goes.
Follow life’s blossoms and go where serendipity blows.
Happenstance is a friend that brings things both old and new.
Calamity is but a passing dream and builds strength in you.
Look forward and plod on through it all and let come what may.
Life is long and short a journey not the less enjoy it on the way.

If one poses the question of, “What is really real?” they have to delve deep into their perceptions of reality and how it pertains to them selves. This is the beginnings of existential thought and the preponderance of the metaphysical. Once this has begun we find the need for a point of reference. Which brings about the question of what my perception is and how does it corresponds to that of the others I perceive in this reality. Then we can try and figure out our intangible self and what the word “I” means to them and how it pertains to the physical.
What is the metaphysical? The metaphysical is defined by the intangible. It is something that you cannot see, touch or smell but you know is there inanely. The study of metaphysics is defined as, “The branch of philosophy that examines the nature of reality, including the relationship between mind and matter, substance and attribute, fact and value.” So congratulations by thinking about the intangible you have begun the study of metaphysics. This brings us back to what is really real? In order to determine that we must also determine what is not real. What is it in me that that perceives reality? Can we truly stop at “I think therefore I am?” I suppose that we do since I have no way of proving I exist without using my self as a point of reference.
This brings us to the realm of existential though or existentialism which is the school thereof. Existentialism is defined as, “A philosophy that emphasizes the uniqueness and isolation of the individual experience in a hostile or indifferent universe, regards human existence as unexplainable, and stresses freedom of choice and responsibility for the consequences of one's acts.” If we wish to determine what is real we must take the sum of our perceptions and come to some form of conclusion to what we find to be tangible and thus real. We must also determine what intangible things are also real. How do you describe something that may not be perceived by others and perhaps not even your self and yet it is there in some innate sense? In truth perhaps you cannot.
Taking all of this into account what is really real? I say that it can be parceled into three categories intangible reality, physical reality, and perceived reality. Our intangible reality can usually be summed up by saying because it is in most cases since we have no window into the minds of others and can only hope to grasp the concepts of which they describe. Our physical reality I assume to be that which normal senses can pick up from our environment and is perceived not only by me but others as well. Finally our perceived reality is the sum of our intangible and tangible realities and how we fit them together. The perceived reality may not always add up to the same conclusions of others on the whole but become that which is real to me.
In the end I suppose that since we truly have no frame of reference that the answer cannot be given. The world may be but a figment of someone else’s imagination or dream. Could it be that I am asleep and you are my dream? Given all of the evidence I would suggest that nothing is real. I “suggest” it because if nothing is really real then I cannot suggest to begin with. In the end perhaps nothing is real unless I have experienced or until I do.
