So sweet. My buddies bands are opening for Protest the Hero and Machete Avenume when they come to Sarnia. That will be so awesome, but wait, there's more! I'm going to see Protest again a month after. Why! Well, they are opening for Avenged Sevenfold, that's why! So that's going to be two sick concerts. Oh yea, and as I'm sure some of you know last year I took my mom to Backstreet Boys for her birthday. Well this year, and this upcoming Sunday, I'll be off with her to see the Dixie Chicks. So that'll be pretty cool too.

 

And of course, I'm still so exicited that I'm moving in less than 4 weeks. Woot Laurier here I come.

I'm now accepting nominess for underrated guitar players. It was just something I was thinking about as I sat here listening to some tuneage on this lovely Christmas Eve. I'm going to start by suggesting Bruce Cockburn, George Harrison and The Tea Party's Jeff Martin. Throw some ideas.

so i was watching the news this morning, CNN to be exact, and the whetherman was tlaking about the new tropical depression Ophelia. This triggered me thinking about a girls profile which named her Ophelia. This made me remember he saying something about emo's on her dealy-o. THENE, it dawned on me: Shakespeare is the original Emo. C'mon, look at thes facts. Emo kids are usually rich depressed kids angry about something their parents did. They usually are known to be slightly suicidial, and of course they all appear  mad. All emos appear crazy (none of this is my personal opinion, but these are the facts people tell me). Now look at Hamlet, hes the prince of Denmark....obviously he's loaded. He comes home from a vacation all depressed and angry at his parents. In a speach to Polonius he appears to be driven to madness...seeming to be crazy. And c'mon, "to be or not to be," --> to live or not to live, to commit suicide or to not. Why? Because his girlfriend left him. So, the conclusion is Shakespeare is the original emo. Therefore, this is not a new trend and you kids didn't do anything new, its 400 years old. Cheer up. Smile. Get over it. Posers.
