This is what Shpongle just sent out to their friends on myspace:

"We are really excited about the addition of VJ Zebbler to Shpongle DJ's 2009 USA tour.  His mastery of live visual art and Shpongle DJ's electrifying music are sure to provide a mind blowing experience that your patrons will not forget!"

Additionally, Shpongle's myspace page now has one of my HD video stills (part of upcoming live video performances for Shpongle) as the background!

We now have a vimeo page for most of my Dead Video / Live Video 2009 Festival finalists' videos:  http://vimeo.com/deadlive

And I have updated the http://www.deadlive.tv/schedule.html finalists page to showcase the winners as well.

Spread the word and let our collective art be seen by many!

Thanks again,

Zebbler and Dead/Live Festival

Thanks to everyone who poured a ton of energy into making this festival possible, especially:

Eventworks and Jeremy Cousins ---> you guys rocked it.  You were the most professional and responsive Eventworks production team I have ever seen.  It definitely wouldn't be possible this year without your help.  Thank you!

Boston Cyberarts Festival ----> thanks so much for letting me be a part of your festival on such an important year!  thank you very much for all your help with promotion and publicity.  I've been asked by many people to do the festival again in the future, your help in no doubt had a lot to do with it.  Thank you!

Andrea Zampitella ----> thank you for providing an amazing catering for the festival!  I know you spent some of your money to feed our patrons, it's extremely generous of you.  The arrangement, timeliness and deliciousness were outstanding.  Thank you!

Nick Binary ---> even though you basically signed up to run sound just for Psylab, you ended up helping us with sound for nearly all of the artists and presentations.  It was really great working with you, thank you for your help!

Katya Popova ---> you helped us stream the live feed of the festival on the internet through glitchloft.com.  Even when I was about to give up - you kept up my spirits and proved to me that everything is possible!  Thank you!

All of the artists, judges and volunteers involved with the fest.  Thanks for your great work, hope you keep doing what you're doing and amaze us continuously in the years to come!

Ok, so you might think that since Barak Obama is guaranteed to win MA you don't need to show up to vote.
Wrong!
There are very very important things contained in the ballot this November.

Proposition 2 and proposition 1 will directly affect millions of people around the state.
You must vote in order to declare Massachusetts ours!

Proposition 2 is attempting to decriminalize marijuana in MA. There are currently a lot of negative publications around that issue. We must combat all of that negativity by energizing all of our friends to vote in support of the decriminalization. Would you want to see your friend go TO JAIL for smoking marijuana? Really? It's one of the most innocent things in the world, to punish it in the same way you punish rapists, burglars, violent criminals makes 0 sense!!! Noone should go to jail or have a criminal record for smoking a joint! There's just no sense in that at all, it's LITERALLY like sending someone to jail for DRINKING A BEER.

PLEASE ASK ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS TO VOTE!
VOTE YES ON QUESTION 2!

Unfortunately, it's often the stoners who stay out of the elections. This must change this time! Drop a bucket of cold water on your roommate come election day, promise them a phat blunt, whatever you can do! If this proposition loses by 10 votes we will feel forever retarded.

Also very important is proposition 1.
I would encourage everyone to VOTE NO ON QUESTION 1!
Proposition 1 aims to eliminate the personal income tax in Massachusetts. The problem with that idea is that - our taxes fund a lot of very important things... well, I would say, vital things. Like our public schools - elementary, high schools, etc. Like our police, our firefighters, our roads, our hospitals. Without the money to fund all of this - we'll literally fall into the republican dream state - where the rich can afford whatever they want with their money and the middle class and the poor all end up uneducated, homeless and ultimately dead from some creepy rat disease.

We need to feed the system we have setup here in Massachusetts. Unlike the federal taxes, our local taxes in this state don't go to Iraq war. They don't go to Pentagon. Our taxes here are very badly needed in order for us to function normally as a society.
Please vote to defeat this proposal.

Ok, I have said enough.

This election is very very important. Tell everyone. Please.
Or you might regret it.
