O.K. so I came to terms a long time ago that I would never see my money from my exboss.  But revenge is sweet.  Fox 2 News Rob Walczyk Hall of Fame finally heard my plea for help and they did my story!!!!!  It should air next Monday or Tuesday...please tune in and laugh along with me!!!!

(Needless to say, he wasn't very happy to see the TV crew...teehee)

His latest threat is to prosecute me!  I say bring it on!  I don't have much faith in a legal system that allows someone to bounce checks then stay in business for a year and a half without making the checks good.  He doesn't even get a slap on the hand.

It's all good though, I feel the TV story is more like a slap in the face!!!!

I'll post the time and date of the story as soon as I get it.  Please let me know if you see it!  The more people that I know that see it will make me feel even better!

O.K. So it's been aYEAR AND A HALF!!!!!

After my ex-boss didn't show up for the court date in September, they had another court date in October for contempt of court.  Finally, after about 5 previous no-show court dates, he did show up for this one.  (Guess he didn't like the thought of jail!)  The judge wanted to know why he didn't show up for the September court date---he said that a week before the date, his son overdosed on Crystal Meth out in California and he had to go bring him back to Michigan.  By the time of the court date he (conveniently) forgot about it.  And get this-----he supposedly had a letter from a doctor to verify this---it wasn't even on office letterhead----what a joke!!!!

Anyway, I informed the judge that I really didn't care what his excuse was----and I informed her that it wasn't acceptable---(The day before the October court hearing, my father-in-law passed away.  I really should have been with my husband and children---not in court trying to collect money that is rightfully mine and that I already have a judgment for.)

Then he tried to inform the judge that his LAWYER  (ohhhhh, I'm so scared) said it wasn't right that I was suing both him and the company I worked for.  The judge informed him that fact could have been argued if he had shown up at any of the previous hearings---there is already a judgment ordered and he has to pay.

And get this!!!!! He told the judge that he contacted his lawyer the night before and he was going to press criminal charges against me.  Knock yourself out!!!  Well, it's been way over the 30 days and needless to say, I have not gotten paid.  I seriously think he believes he scared me with the threat of criminal charges or that he intimidated me by staring at me the whole time we were waiting for our case to be called.  Anyone who truly know me, knows that is so far from the truth.  As for the criminal charges,  maybe he should start worrying about the ones that he could be facing if certain information was leaked to the IRS.  I was the only thing keeping that company together and above board if you know what I mean.

So, now I have to go back to the courthouse and file some more papers.....do you think the clerks there are sick of me yet?????

Trust me, I'm not giving up.....EVER!!!!!!

O.k.  Here it is September already and I'm still holding on to the paychecks that can't be cashed since June 2005.  Finally went to court last month.  Of course, my old boss didn't even bother to show up. (Imagine that!) So, I won by default.  He had 21 days to pay me.  Of course he didn't bother doing that either.  So, now I have another court date on Sept. 27th---I had to subpeona him and all of the financial records from the business. Another girl is pursuing her paychecks with me.  It'll be interesting to see if he bothers to show up for this one.  If he doesn't show up, they say they will put out a bench warrant for his arrest.
Hmm......Don't know what I want more... my money or his butt in jail.  If they do arrest him, I get my money anyway out of his posted bail.

O.K. Something is seriously wrong with our society when it is acceptable for an employer to give you a check that bounces.  I quit working for Image Medical due to this fact on June 1, 2005.  I then received another check which I am still unable to cash. (11 MONTHS LATER!!!)  I went to the prosecuting attorney and they won't take the case because taxes were taken out of my check.  I had to file with the Wage and Labor Board.  It took them nine months (I could have had a baby quicker!!) to decide that yes, I do deserve my money.  So, then what?  They send a letter stating I have to paid by the end of March.  It is now May!!!!  And do I see my money????  Absolutely not! And now the Wage and Labor Board doesn't return my phone calls.  Good to know we pay their wages!!!  I bet they can cash their checks!!!

I will not stop pursuing this!!! SORRY...JUST HAD TO VENT!!!
