Fangires--as in Fang and ire (vampire) are stained glass-based vampires who feed off the Life Energy of humans, in order for them to survive.  They maintain the structure of their souls by using shards of glass to drain the Life Energy.  The Fangire Race can assume the form of a human and change in order to adapt in every day life.  Their true form is revealed when their skin takes a unique variant stained-glass pattern.  When a human is attacked by a Fangire, they assume a transparent look, just like glass; and in some cases, the body will shatter when touched.  Each Fangire belongs to a specific class based on the an animal form it takes.  Upon a natural Death, the physical body shatters like glass and collapses.  When a Fangire soul leaves its body, it can reunite and form an aura monster with other deceased Fangires which is called a Sabbat.
