I've been thinking about how to provide all the services that you need to do a job or objective. It's funny how we associate costs with technology, how many of us pay 100 or 200 dollars a month for communications without blinking? It's amazing.

I know it is possible to have inexpensive information technology. Using low powered computers, recycled old computer parts, cast offs, and open source technology, we should be able to have all the benefits of the information society without all the costs.

Information technology is always associated with lots of support, which is expensive. Somehow, there has to be a way to make things self supporting, and ease the level of support necessary to get something done.

I'm hoping to volunteer for a group who has specific frugal needs. Frugality has such an appeal to me.
