Hey all, as you can see we don't use our Myspace a whole lot, and that's because we're constantly on Facebook and Twitter! It's easier for us to keep in touch with you and be more interactive through those sites, so if you use either one or both, be sure to find us and "Become a fan"!

Twitter: @TheUrgency
Facebook: The Urgency

P.s. Here's a sample of some new music we've been working on:

Current mood:  adventurous
Hello all, I know we've been fairly quietly recently, and we'd like to fill you in on what's going on.
First of all, we've been working on new music. Our self-titled debut record has not been out for very long, but the music on there is no longer new to us, so we are anxious to write and record new music.
We will be doing this over the next two weeks at Kevin's house in VT, and we'll be filming it, so make sure you check our YouTube channel www.youtube.com/theurgencyofficial and subscribe so you know when we put up a new video.

To all the UK people, we will be returning before the year is out. Details to come, but we cannot wait to return!

Finally, we want to hear from you guys. Myspace seems to be the old-fashioned way of communicating these days, so find us on Twitter.com/theurgency and say hello to us! We post daily on there.

More fun things to come. Stay tuned.

Revolution

"Revolution" Video

it's so obvious
the tone you're taking with me makes it's hits
pinpoints the weak spots in my tympanum
you're love is deafening and oh so very dumb

can you hear it now
the siren song before the final bow
the dying screams before my ears give out
ironic how I actually said I'd miss the sound

of your voice
like a lamb's
soothing close
making plans

revolution, will you save us, will you take us so far away
make us more, make us whole
strip us bare of all desire

but if the mood should hit you
hell i wouldn't mind a bit
just give it a taste, it might abate
the heartache i feel deep inside of you

we were kids back then
we could never truly understand
that there may never be the blinding light
perhaps no tunnels ever led to gates of white

but your voice
soothing close
like a lamb's
gave me hope

revolution, will you save us, will you take us so far away
make us more, make us whole
strip us bare of all desire

you said you had enough
hell that's all you had to say
all these bold-faced stuntas
won't know what's coming for them
you better believe we're biting at their heels

revolution, will you save us, will you take us so far away
make us more, make us whole
strip us bare of all desire

So for some reason YouTube has been very inconsistent with their video quality lately, so here is the video for "Revolution", as well as a video for "Hot Damn!" and a bonus footage video, all done by Sitcom Soldiers of the UK. Thanks to Buzznet for hosting higher quality videos!
