Dear Madam Speaker,

I first want to say congratulations to you and the entire Democratic Party for the sweeping victory on 11/7/06. I am a lifelong Democrat who now resides in Northern California. I've always supported the party and voted along party lines. My friends, family and co-workers all came out strong to vote and stop the Bush administration's assault on our Constitution and Bill of Rights. It is really disturbing to us when we hear you and other Democrats talking against impeachment. Someone needs to hold these criminals accountable for the lies and human devastation that they have caused. This is the worst administration in the history of our great nation, so please don't go down in history as the most cowardice congressional accomplice. The people of our country stood up as one voice to vote and demand justice. May I remind you that the Democratic Party has not been in power since 1994. The victory on Tuesday could not have occurred without the help of frustrated Republicans, disgruntled Christians, Independents, Libertarians, Green Party members and loyal Democrats. This is now your base! Ignore these voices and your term in office will be a short two years. You have a historical opportunity to defend democracy and and an obligation to protect our liberty. Please start immediate  inquiries and investigations when you take power in January. Find the courage to do what is right. The lies, corruption and actions of this administration came the closest in jeopardizing what our founding fathers fought and sacrificed to build. If we do not stand up now, then when? Our country and the people of the world are watching and ready to support you. You once took an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution. You will be reminded of these duties once again in January when you are sworn into office. We the people did not vote Democrat because of your platform but for the simple hope that you might have the valor necessary to live up to your oath of office. Ignore the American cries for justice and you will be just as responsible for the downfall and extinction of democracy. Our country is enduring some of the most difficult times in recent history and this is not the time for timid apprehension or political negotiation with the culprits. I implore you as the new Speaker of the House to lead the Congress with the strength and tenacity necessary to authorize the full power of subpoena. Hold these criminals accountable. Fate, destiny and justice have chosen you to defend our freedom, ideals and way of life. What will you do? The path of courage is never easy but will always lead you to the truth and righteousness.
                               A loyal patriot,
                                         X

"Away, away, away rode the rebel, Johnny Yuma.

Johnny Yuma, was a rebel.  He roamed, through the west.
And Johnny Yuma, was a rebel, he wandered alone.

He got fightin' mad, this rebel lad.  He packed no star as he wandered far.
Where the only law was a hook and a draw, the rebel Johnny Yuma.

He searched the land, this restless lad.  He was panther quick and leather tough.
Cause he had figured that he'd been pushed enough, the rebel
Johnny Yuma.

He was fightin' mad, this rebel lad,
With a dream he would hold until his dying breath
He would search his soul and gamble with death.
Away, away, away rode the rebel, Johnny Yuma."

Dear Air America,

Why do you continue to make life difficult on your listeners. We should be on the same side. I'd rather spend my time fighting the Neo-Con agenda instead of using my valuable time protesting you. Your listeners are not imbeciles and we know that Mike's firing had nothing to do with finances. He is not on the pay scale of a Randi Rhodes or Al Franken. If the problem was finances, it would be more cost effective to keep Mike Malloy. As a progressive liberal I enjoy your programming, but am getting tired of bickering with Air America management. I stood and watched as you terminated Marc Maron. That ridiculous move forced me to listen to Stephanie Miller in the morning. You sent me straight into the arms of the competition. Then you tried not to resign Sam Seder. If not for the countless protests from your listeners, Sam would be gone. I will be listening to Sam in the mornings rather than Stephanie Miller. I am a true fan and a loyal supporter of what Air America is trying to achieve. I will remain loyal as long as your programming reflects the ideals of truth. I admire people who are not afraid to stand alone and tell the truth with courage and conviction. Mike Malloy is such a person. His termination makes no sense and I cannot understand it. In a world of lies and deceit he represents the little bit of truth and humanity left. His anger, emotion and wisdom roar over the airwaves and drown out the voices of Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage and all the FOX propaganda. In my eyes Mike is a giant among all radio talk show hosts. Did you even listen to his last show while covering for Randi? The last show he did on the victims of Katrina was powerful and moving. You rewarded his efforts and dedication by terminating him the next day. That was a very cold blow to both Mike and his fan base. Mike is a hero to many and we need his strong voice on the airwaves encouraging people to vote for change. I end my letter now with one last request, please do the right thing and bring back Mike Malloy. Thank you for listening.

                        A Loyal Truth Seeker,
                                Michael
