so i'm back up and running, but busy as hell...  so catch me if you can. these next two weeks are insane, as all my professors try to cram EVERYTHING in before fall break... i'm just trying to make it that far. (families in columbus.. get ready cuz here i come!)

now all you hanson fans out there... i lost ALL of my band photos. so if you've got some, share the wealth!

so this week has pretty much just sucked. i drove to atlantic city yesterday, for a show. spent the whole day there, to find out (half hour before the doors opened) that the show was canceled due to a sick member of the band. today i had lunch with a very influential person in my life. she told me that its about time for me to find myself; that she sees me in church as a young girl who doesn't know who she is. she wants me to find an "older christian friend to mentor." the worst part, is that the person she has in mind, i can't stand. i've never gotten along with her. so that hurt real hard. i thought i knew who i was. am i really that unsure about myself that i thought i knew where i stood in life?

the other sucky part of this week, is that a family i have been babysitting for 6 years (since the youngest was born) is moving to ohio. i have spent these last 2 months trying to forget about it, and act like it isn't happening, but now its here. they're going to be gone. just like that. i watch the youngest's best friend during the day, and i spent the whole day fighting back the tears, as matthew talked about evan being gone, and then watching the 2 boys play together. Their going away party is tomorrow night. it is really going to be rough for me. i just need a distraction.

but wait! as soon as i start to get over that, my pastor and her girls will be moving next wednesday. again, i have babysat these girls for the last five years. and my pastor is just one of those people you can talk to about anything and you can talk to her for hours. she has been there through some of the hard parts in my life. both of these families mean so much to me. and i was really looking forward to seeing them more, now that i've moved back hom. but of course not. god's gotta take them from me now. i just hope He's prepared to be there and help me out through the pain He's indirectly causing me.

so if you're thinking about me any time this next week, please send a quick prayer my way, just so i have the strength to get through it all. thanks friends.

ok, so here is my plea. i am doing the relay for life, here at lycoming. it will take place march 10-11. i will need donations. this is for a great cause- cancer research, if you did not know. and this weekend is very important to me, as my mother is a survivor of cancer but there are many close to me who have died from it, or are suffering right now. so please i beg you to reach into your hearts and donate to this cause.  i'm not silly enough to post my address on my myspace

it is only tuesday and already this week has been really rough. i've been dropped like a fly on more than one occasion, by people who i have done nothing but support.  i haven't felt this hurt in a long time. i have forgotten how much it sucks.

on top of that, today (dec 6) marks the 3rd anniversary of the death of lauren b. jacobs. it just hit me how long she's been gone, but i know she is proud of her daughter who is going to make a great mother soon, like she was.

2 days left of class, and a week of finals.  i could use some serious loving this week, so please keep me in your thoughts.
