Hi Everyone, Lots of new updates at my official website, JoeCorroney.com. First off, be sure to check out my new podcast spotlight interview with the New-Gen website which you can download and listen to right here.

I've added a new gallery featuring my latest sketch card artwork for Topps upcoming Star Wars Galaxy Five trading card series to be released this February.

I also created brand new "propaganda poster" base card artwork for this set which can be viewed in my Star Wars Misc. Art gallery here

New artwork featuring Cad Bane from the Clone Wars cartoon which appeared in the December 2009 issue of Star Wars Insider can be viewed in my Insider Art gallery here

There's also new artwork added to my Star Wars Galaxy Four and Star Wars Sketchbook galleries here and here

My latest cover art for BOOM! Studios' Farscape series and IDW Publishing's GI Joe Operation HISS series have been added to my site as well right here and here

Finally, I've updated my Stuff to Buy page with new autographed comic books and graphic novels I've illustrated for sale and have also updated my Commissions section. If you're interested in a personal sketch card commission for your collection be sure to check it out.

For those of you curious, here's what I currently have in the cards and coming up soon in my schedule -

Star Trek - IDW Publishing's newest series, Star Trek: The Next Generation - Ghosts, written by Zander Cannon, is currently on sale with issue #3 having shipped this week. This was a fun series of covers to work on drawing Picard, Riker and Data and I hope everyone checks it out. I just signed on for four more Trek covers for an upcoming TOS era story, so hopefully more Kirk, Spock and McCoy covers will be in the cards.

G.I. Joe - I'm beginning work on the final cover for the IDW series, G.I. Joe: Operation HISS, which is a comic book sequel to the 2009 Summer movie. I got to illustrate the first appearance of the "movie version" of Major Bludd for issue #2 which was really fun and an honor for this longtime " Joe" fan. I also illustrated the cover for G.I. Joe: The Movie - Snake-Eyes trade paperback co-written by the man behind the black mask himself, Ray Park. This TPB should come out a little later this Spring I believe so keep your eyes peeled for it around that time.

Farscape - Just wrapped up covers for issues 6 and 7 of the ongoing series and will be starting cover 8 shortly this month. I cherish these characters and love working on this series and I hope any fellow Farscape fans out there are enjoying this book too (plotted and co-written by TV series creator Rockne O'Bannon himself).

Star Wars - I just wrapped up work on Star Wars Galaxy Five trading cards from Topps to be released in late February. My artwork for this set encompasses thirty-six unique sketch cards (thirty for hobby packs and six for retail packs), three new base card art pieces as "propaganda posters' along with four of my previously published pieces as new trading cards and finally brand new etched foil puzzle card artwork celebrating the thirtieth anniversary this year of The Empire Strikes Back. I'm really excited for everyone to see that one soon.

I have a few new interviews coming up online soon where you can learn more about this brand new Star Wars Galaxy Five artwork I created for Lucasfilm and Topps. I'll post again with updates when they go live.

I'm also on board as one of the artists for the 501st TK project and painting a stormtrooper helmet for the Make A Wish Foundation. For more about the 501st TK project check out this link here - http://www.501sttkproject.com/

Finally, I'm working on new Star Wars art concepts which I will possibly debut for Celebration V later this Summer. I'm waiting to see how they come together and will make some decisions later on how, where and if I'll utilize them for the anniversary at the event or if they end up possibly elsewhere down the road.

Thanks everyone for the support and I'll post back here and at my official website with more news and artwork updates soon.

Hey Everyone,

My foil card puzzle artwork and Yoda Teaching the Younglings base card artwork for Topps new Star Wars Galaxy Series 4 trading cards has been added to my official site. You can check them out in this Star Wars gallery here.

The foil card artwork is broken up into six individual, foil embossed trading card images and connects to the previous set of Topps trading cards illustrated by Jan Duursema to complete one long panoramic image started by Walt Simonson for Star Wars Galaxy Series 1And much credit goes to my collaborator and fellow sketch card artist Brian Miller for helping me create this new Star Wars artwork in full color.

By the way, that's my daughter in the lower left corner of the base card artwork as the Padawan looking up at Yoda. She's also the Padawan in the background of The Padawans Face General Grievous art for Star Wars Insider #86 in this gallery right here (on the third gallery page).

Don't worry, I made sure Yoda trained her well ;)

I'm offering this original art for Yoda Teaching the Younglings currently on eBay and it comes with some free items. You can check it out here.

I've also added my sketch cards for Star Wars Galaxy Series 4 and Clone Wars in these new galleries here and here.

UPDATE 4/3/09

These auctions were temporarily removed by eBay due to a listing error but have since been reinstated and are back online. I had accidentally forgot to edit a line from the text of an older auction template I was using for these stating that "all checks must first clear" for my payment options and eBay no longer accepts payment for customers via check or money order. So instead of giving me a heads up warning they just axed them but they were brought back online immediately. Ugh... oh well. Thanks for understanding everyone and thanks for your patience and for your support!

And good luck bidding!

I'm currently hard at work on new art for Star Wars Galaxy 4, the new trading card series on its way early next year from Topps. I'm providing the artwork for the six card, foil etched puzzle set which connects to previous Star Wars foil puzzle sets illustrated by comic book artists Jan Duursema and Walt Simonson. Also included in this set will be my actual pencil art for this full color puzzle card illustration as 1/1 original art pieces.

One of my illustrations, "The Great Remorse of Darth Vader" (seen here), was just released as a preview trading card for the set as well in Previews magazine. Topps may include it in the actual set as a base card I believe.

I've also been commissioned to create a new base card illustration for the set which is entitled "Yoda and the Younglings". I'm currently illustrating that new artwork at this moment.

Finally, I'll be illustrating 106 artist sketch cards for this set which will be randomly inserted into packs of cards for the product.

For more information, including previews of my artwork for this set, stay tuned here and to the official Topps website.

I was recently interviewed by author Rich Handley, a freelance writer for an affiliate website of Roddenberry.com (a multimedia entertainment site providing authentic merchandise and memorabilia for the true science fiction fan from the name that brought you Star Trek). I had a fun time answering his questions and talking about my Star Trek artwork for IDW Publishing along with my Star Wars work and upcoming projects. Feel free to check out my new interview posted at World Famous Comics.com right here -
