This video is just awesome, I know it’s the Marines but this gets me all pumped up. There are a few TACPs in it if you pay attention, though!

No matter who you are, where you come from, which higher power you pray to (if any), please pray or send your good thoughts to Iraq and Afghanistan - not only to our soldiers there now, but to the indigenous people there. Please also pray for the families and friends here at home who have lost loved ones in service. 

The true enemy is not war, but war itself. Some people say we should "kill them all" or "turn the desert to glass", but that is an evil way to think, in my opinion no better than the terrorists whose actions led to this war.

We need to remember that the culture there is unique, and much has been unchanged for thousands of years. There is much we can learn from the people in the Middle East, and there is much they can learn from us. Their music and architecture is beautiful and majestic. The way they put family and religion first before material goods and mass consumption is something we as Americans could learn from.

Without a doubt we must hunt down and punish everyone with a connection to terrorism and war crimes, and that is something I will be proud to do as a soldier. More importantly though, what we need ultimately is peace not war, so please pray for that.

I finally graduated from Air Force Basic Military Training 23 February 2008, and now I'm at TACP Tech School here at Hurlburt Field, FL. This place is great and the people are awesome. The physical demands are incredible, but this career is among the most rewarding the military has to offer. In addition to that, this base is close to Destin and Panama City, so once I'm allowed to go off base it should be a lot of fun!

Since I'm not in Basic anymore I have access to computers, the internet, and my cell phone, so feel free to keep in touch. To everyone who gave me encouragement while I was stuck in the prison that is the 319th Medical Hold, thank you all. Pretty soon (in a matter of months), I will finish here and earn the Black Beret.
