Winter's melting in the mild west wind;
time to haul the dry-docked boats to the shore.
The farmer has cabin fever; his pent-up flocks
are itching for the meadow, and the meadow's
greening already in its morning thaw.
Under a spring moon, Cytherean Venus
leads her dancing garland of Nymphs and Graces
hand in hand, light-footed, across the fields
while red-faced Vulcan fires up the lightning forge
and puts his lumbering Cyclopes through their paces.
Now's the time to crown your oil-slicked hair;
bind it with emerald myrtle or with quivers
of blossom freshly hatched from the ice-shelled earth;
now cut a throat for Faunus in the shadows;
a lamb or kid - whichever he prefers...
Death, pale and impartial, stands at the door;
enters with equal indifference the squatter's shack
and rich man's villa. Oh lucky Sestius!
Life's too short for all but the simplest dreams;
soon you'll be lodged in one of Pluto's black
airless rooms, where no one rolls the dice
to rule the revels, and no one gazes
at tender Lycidas, whom all the boys
lust after now, and all the girls will soon
be smothering with imaginary embraces.

Lines Written In Early Spring by William Wordsworth.
I heard a thousand blended notes, While in a grove I sate reclined, In that sweet mood when pleasant thoughts Bring sad thoughts to the mind.
To her fair works did Nature link The human soul that through me ran; And much it grieved my heart to think What man has made of man.
Through primrose tufts, in that green bower, The periwinkle trailed its wreaths; And 'tis my faith that every flower Enjoys the air it breathes.
The birds around me hopped and played, Their thoughts I cannot measure: -- But the least motion which they made, It seemed a thrill of pleasure.
The budding twigs spread out their fan, To catch the breezy air; And I must think, do all I can, That there was pleasure there.
If this belief from heaven be sent, If such be Nature's holy plan, Have I not reason to lament What man has made of man?
What a gorgeous day today! I'm too tired to think, head full of Calculus, so I'm afraid it will just be more poetry. People are crazy... I blame the moon and weather.

Humeur actuelle :  déterminé
I cannot resist just one...
Childhood What is the first costume you remember wearing? A gypsy.
What was your favorite costume? Witch.
Best Halloween memory as a kid? It has always been my favorite time of year, so I really can;t decide on just one. I do miss trick or treating with my brother. We were surprisingly civil for this one holiday.
Worst Halloween memory as a kid? I hated when it was so cold we had to wear coats.
Every TP or egg a house? Amazingly, no. Not ever.
Did you steal other kids candy? No, we usually made out like bandits.
If you were a character in a horror movie, would you survive? Most likely, yes.
Would you live in a house that was rumored to be haunted? I have.
Would you live in a house where someone had been murdered? It really wouldn't surprise me if I had already.
Be truthful: is why not?
Other than a gun, name the first murder weapon that comes to mind? Confetti.
Would you ever be a mortician? I don't think so. Dead folks don't bother me much, but the grieving relatives would be a little much to bear.
Do you fit serial killer profile? W/male/18-32/arson/bedwetter/kills animals Not at all.
Do you believe people can be possessed? Slavery... everyone has a kink....
What is something that will haunt you for the rest of your life? I'll have to think about this one.
How do you feel about death and dying? As long as the dying part isn't too terribly unpleasant, I'm surprisingly okay with it. I would prefer it to be timely, as in, I'd like to live a long life. Mostly because of the people in my life.
Have you ever seen a dead body, other than in a funeral home? Yes.
Were you afraid to go in the ocean after you saw Jaws? I was before I saw Jaws. It's one of those things.
Would you eat a human if your life depended on it? If I did the cooking, sure.
What was your last nightmare? The food one, where I'm about to eat something I really like and then wake myself up by biting down. It's a horrible dream for a hedonist, truly.
Rather be buried alive for a night or sleep next to a dead body? Dead body!
As an Adult Did you decorate your house? Most folks would think I never take the decorations down.
Did you decorate your myspace? Not really, no. I like the green.
Do you still dress up for Halloween? Every day.
How long have been thinking about this years costume? It's always last minute for me. Mostly because I'm working in some way or another.
Planing on attending any parties? Nope. Just the afterparty and I'm working the door.
What will you be this year? No idea yet. Something dark and sparkly.
What was your favorite costume you wore? I think the best was when Travis, Andrew and I went as the Crazy 88's.
Favorite costume someone else wore? This is hard, especially since I know an exceptionally talented person. Probably her Witch Hunter outfit for Warhammer.
Funniest Halloween moment? Can't remember, really.
If money was not an issue, what is your dream costume? Aiiiieee. I don't know really. There's just so much to chose from. Right now? I think it would be cool to have Athena's uniform from Appleseed since I look just like her.
Supernatural Do you believe in ghosts? I don;t know if I would say ghosts exactly. Unseen things, sure.
Have you ever seen one? Has anyone?
Would you live in a house rumored to be haunted? Of course.
Would you live in a house someone was murdered in? Most likely.
First thing that pops into your mind.... Murder weapon? Knitting needles.
Scary movie? Seven
Halloween? is everyday....
Vampire? Sonja Blue, baby.
Monster? Cookie.
Haunted? Mansion. Best Ride Ever.
