Take the poll here to put us both out of our misery.

US rejects G8 climate proposal - well there's a surprise. Biofuels 'will push up oil price' - can't give OPEC any competition now can we? NHS fears despite books balancing - a sure sign something has gone wrong. Olympic logo causes epileptic fits - £400,000? it made me feel sick. Terry will take blame for failure - there's positive thinking for you. Why are we such worried parents? - The terrorism from our own government and media? Is gingerism as bad as racism? - No, racism is prejudice toward a race, gingerism is personal insults. Crackdown on lunar-fuelled crime - Talk about blame it on the moon! Blair 'will be frank with Putin' - Keep your sordid secrets private please.

Well, it's been a while, so to ease into this return, an update on something light hearted i blogged a few months ago, the only confimed royal (mail) thoroughbred rubber band ball in existence has grown a whole inch in diameter in two months! and remember, this ball is totally free range, only elastic bands released naturally into the wild have been used.

First it was Fulham 4-0, apologies to the man Example but we nailed them, big time. Midweek, a last minute winner against Everton, could've been better but football isn't always about who plays better, deserved the win but scraped it. But yesterday, all props to the Park Lane, the loudest stand and what a day! and we played a whole half with 10 men, EVERYONE was great, Lee, Rocha, Daws and Chimbo almost made me forget Ledley was missing, Keano got his props when he was sent off, Zokora got a singing ovation when he left the pitch injured, but the man of the day, despite not scoring, was Berba.I'll leave it to this Bolton player to show how we feel. It's hug a Berba week! COYS!! Oh yeah, nearly forgot, Hammers got Hammered and the Gunners lost a battle.

The council, despite putting obstacles in the way of residents desires to be socially responsible, demonstrate their priorities by approving a plan to convert the old job centre in town to a cafe or wine bar, i don't know if we still are but we used to hold some world record based on number of pubs, the town is hardly short of them anyway.
Still, as i now don't know where to go if i needed to get a job, at least i won't be short of places to sit and drown my sorrows.
They are feeding us drugs to deaden our senses and tame us. If you can't break your routine you are conditioned. If you can't do without it you are addicted. Think about it.

My local town council have just made the most ridiculous NIMBY decision ever.
They have objected to a Parkway resident putting up a wind turbine (green sustainable energy) on the ground is is "an intrusion onto the street scene", quite unlike the greenish - yellow clouds occassionaly belching from our local power station which i am sure they feel enhance the local environment and give a new dimension to our picturesque town.
When will these kind of idiot decisions stop? wind turbines and solar panels may not be the exterior decor we desire but it beats choking the planet to death, unless you are so selfish as to not care what kind of future you leave your children / grand children.
Government, at both local and national level, should be fully funding this type of development to help bring about the green future they all promote, not preventing people from contributing.
I have a feeling if we were to channel all the political hot air we'd never face an energy crisis again.

Current mood: hopeful
4-0 to the Tottenham! Newcastle, Everton, Sheffield, Wigan, Liverpool and Charlton all fell at the first hurdle, and how you all mocked us (well, except sheffield!) last year. That'll be 3 cup competitions we are in then. Only 3/5ths through the season and we've played more games than the whole of the last. I'll have to see if i can't make a trip to WHL on 27th. Yid Army!!!!

Current mood: chipper
The frustration with having loads of ideas is that it's hard to get them all down on paper and even harder to get any of them finished. A wise man once told me "The problem is we are all too busy earning a living to make any money"
Anyway, i'll be finishing GOK soon (hopefully) which is the intended vehicle for some of the ideas, meanwhile my brother and i need to plan the long term literary project and then write down some of the sketches we've been talking about for months, film them and post them somewhere.
If i miss many more boats i'll be jumping in the river if you catch my drift.
Now i know what Benny meant. "ahm jus' too bizzy mah-self"
