I'm a long time vegetarian and I recently stopped eating dairy, so now I'm nearly vegan. The only one that should be drinking cow's milk is a calf. Honey is the only animal product that I now consume.

A human's digestive system is that of an herbivore. Our natural food is leaves and fruit.

To this chart I would add lips. Herbivores (humans) have dexterous lips, carnivores do not.

The heathliest food to eat: raw green leafy vegetables and fresh fruit!

If all humans were vegetarian and hemp/cannabis were legal and widely cultivated there would be much less war and hunger.

I recently learned the orgins of the more commonly used names for these 2 Whales. They were named after men who murdered Whales. So I will no longer use those names. I now call Balaenoptera edeni: Eden's Whale, Luulumbo or the Tropical Rorqual and B. acurostrata: The Little Rorqual or The Piked Whale.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO CAPTAIN PAUL WATSON. READ HIS BLOG.

To me, the image of a WHALE is magnificent, the most incredible beings ever to have evolved on our little water planet.

Use the word "Whale" as a verb, and the image is one of death and seas stained red.

As long as the "W" in IWC is a verb and not a noun, that commission will always be about slaughter and not about life.

I saw Grey Whales today. They are passing by on their journey north. At first there were some spouts off in the close distance.

But then this one surfaced right close to shore. Between the breaking wave and the swell behind it. He had his head above the water and he was looking at me! He stayed close to shore for quite a while. Twice he breached! 2/3 of his body was out of the water!

I took some pictures, but all I got was a little bit of back 2 times before he submerged.

You can see a bit of his back behind the breaking wave.

Here he is again in the center between the breaking wave and the swell.

Most of his body is underwater in these photos. He appeared to be about 10 meters long.

I really don't know his gender. But seemed to me to be a boy Whale so I used the male pronoun.

Any day with WHALES is special...

I AM IN AWE OF WHALES. I FEEL HONORED TO SHARE A PLANET WITH THESE BEINGS. THE MORE THAT I THINK ABOUT WHALES THE MORE AMAZING THAT THEY ARE.

ALL HUMANS SHOULD BE ENLIGHTED ENOUGH TO FEEL WHAT A WHALE IS AND HOW INCREDIBLE THEY ARE.
