Well folks, it is typical of the the Strucks to make decisions and go with them - those of you boys who have heard my "be decisive" philosophy will know what I mean. And in the spirit of the season with changes ad new winds blowing about the countryside, Lauren and I have decided to have another baby. You read right - yet another young and potentially amazing Struck heading your way. Get ready!!

Current mood:  creative
Well, we're in countdown mode now. Just a couple of more days left of my nine month fatherness, then all hell will break loose. So much to do and so little summer!! Masonry, ropes course, mountain biking, disc golf, backpacking. I hope that I will be able to fit it all in and retain my sanity. Important fact #404 - idleness does me no good...never has. Dark places rest in idleness, mostly in books but then mostly in my memories. This summer will be a good time to work on banishing idleness. Maybe I can bank enough away to last through the winter. That or I'm going to help my daughter become the youngest US Ski team member by starting her training this coming season...1 1/2 years isn't too young...

Don't be fooled by the photograph. Vermont is warming up and becoming green again, though that means that my winter long hiatus from life is about to come to a pause. News: There's a new in cat in the house, McKinley is walking all over the place and stuffing every crumb, dust ball, and dead ladybug into her mouth for estimation of taste and consistency. Its a trip. Just slid into the Directorship of LSCs ropes course and my mind is having a hard time slowing down from thinking about the first college course that I'll have to teach. Miss a lot of you weirdos out there, though, and will keep you posted!
