Nebula West Coast Tour Dates!
Legendary Los Angeles based rock trio Nebula has announced a set
of late November/Early December West Coast shows taking place from
11/28-12/05. Nebula released their latest album Heavy Psych in July on Tee Pee Records and in September completed a US tour with The Entrance Band.
Nebula Tour Dates:
11/28 Blank Club - San Jose, CA
11/29 Annie's Social Club - San Francisco, CA
12/03 Kensington Club - San Diego, CA
12/04 The Royal Dive - Oceanside, CA
12/05 Nomad Gallery - Los Angeles, CA
* All Dates with Dusted Angel and Radio Moscow

"This is one of those records that makes you want to throw out
every other record you've listened to, grow your hair to your elbows,
and start all over again" - NME
"Nebula collapses a long lineage of heaviosity in its gravitational
pull: Blue Cheer, the MC5, the Stooges, early Sabbath, mid-Seventies
hard rock, sludge-era Black Flag, and mentors Mudhoney" - Revolver
Playing dirty rock and roll and primitive blues, psychedelic iconoclasts Nebula
have earned a reputation as one of the most influential bands to emerge
from the Los Angeles underground rock scene of the last two decades.
With a penchant for Fuzz-wah pedals, wild drums and debauchery,
Nebula plays feedback-heavy, guitar-driven psychedelic rock in the
tradition of The Stooges, MC5, Jimi Hendrix, and Cream-- laced with the spaced out sounds and dischord of Spaceman 3 and The Velvet Underground.
Formed by frontman Eddie Glass out of the ashes of Fu Manchu upon
the band’s split in 1997, Nebula toured relentlessly in North America,
Europe, Japan and Australia, playing alongside bands like Mudhoney, Iggy and the Stooges, Local H, The Hellacoptors and Queens of the Stone Age.
Nebula quickly gained a cult following in the burgeoning psych scene
that was taking root in their hometown of Los Angeles and in music
scenes abroad, paving the way for bands like Brian Jonestown Massacre, Dead Meadow, Black Angels, and Wolfmother.
In 2009, Nebula joined Tee Pee Records for the release of their latest LP, Heavy Psych. The new line up includes Eddie Glass on guitar/vox, Tom Davies (bass/vox), and Rob Oswald on drums.
Combining the combustibility of the sun with the mysticism of the moon, Heavy Psych lives
up to its name, no matter your preferred definition, and reaffirms
Nebula’s reputation as one of rock's brightest stars – in this galaxy
or any other.
Heavy Psych Tracklisting:
1. Pulse
2. The Dagger
3. Aphrodite
4. Dream Submarine
5. In The Depth's
6. The Other Side
7. Crown Of Thorns

Earthless kick off a US Tour supporting Baroness on Wednesday, November 18th in Washington, DC at the Rock and Roll Hotel. Known for being every other band's favorite band, Earthless features members Mario Rubalcaba (ex-Rocket From the Crypt, Hot Snakes, Blackheart Procession, Clickatat Ikatowi) on drums, Isaiah Mitchell (Nebula, Drunk Horse) on guitar and Mike Eginton (Electric Nazarene) on bass, and deliver one of the best live shows in all of modern, heavy rock today. In the deepest parts of Southern California, the San Diego area to be exact, lays a psychedelic throne currently occupied by a trio called Earthless. The sound is directed towards a kraut-rock feel, adapting psychedelic guitar solos to a steady pulsing rhythm reminiscent of John Paul Jones and John Bonham. - Thrasher MagazineIn April 2008 Earthless was featured at the Roadburn Festival held annually in Tilburg, Holland. The festival is a celebration of tube-driven distortion,
crackling electrical guitars and the many fans that come to celebrate
the mighty riff. Earthless embodies the true essence of Roadburn so it
came as no surprise that the band was invited to play in the 2008
edition.
Unexpectedly, Earthless wound up on the main stage of the festival in
front of 2,000 rabid fans, mere moments before they were to headline
The Batcave (a room with 200 person capacity). Live At Roadburn came
about not so much by default but out of sheer necessity. When the
headlining band at the festival did not use their two hour time slot on
the main stage, concert organizers were left scrambling to find a
replacement to fill the slot.
Earthless gladly accepted the opportunity and proceeded to lay waste to
all that was surrounding them for a straight hour and a half of visual
mind and audio massacre! Told of the recordings, the band had a few
listens and decided that it was the most honest document that they
could offer, for they were caught in their natural environment - the
live show.

Electrifying hard rock band Priestess has signed to NYC’s Tee Pee Records. The Montreal-based group will issue its highly-anticipated sophomore album Prior to the Fire in February, 2010. Recorded in Los Angeles with producer David Schiffman (System of a Down, Mars Volta, Nine Inch Nails), Prior to the Fire underlines Priestess’ hard-hitting songwriting, memorable hooks and earth-shaking ability to rock. With a sound built upon a resolute sense of purpose and shaped by hundreds of explosive live shows, Priestess’ Prior to the Fire is an electric recording, bringing to light a colorful pool of both creativity and innovation. The long-awaited follow up to 2006’s critically acclaimed debut Hello Master, Prior to the Fire sees Priestess at once hungry, fierce and focused. The record’s majestic power merges titanic riffs, memorable metal, progressive rock and hard psych elements with the powerful, expressive vocals of frontman / guitarist Mikey Heppner to create an album that will floor heavy music fans. “It wasn’t the easiest record to make,” says Heppner. “But the hard work definitely paid off and we’re really, really proud of the end result. We’ve done so much touring and seen so much since our first record that it only galvanized our feelings of what the band is. The songs that make up “Prior to the Fire” were meant to be heard live and loud. We can’t wait to get out on tour again and really do them justice!” Formed in 2003, Priestess has consistently garnered top notch praise for its dynamic sound and monstrous modern rock. The band has toured incessantly since its inception, sharing stages the world over with friends and peers such as Mastodon, The Sword, Converge, dinosaur Jr and Motorhead. The bands song "Lay Down" is currently featured in the video game Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock and the new song "Raccoon Eyes" (from Prior To The Fire) appears on the soundtrack to the wildly popular EA Sports game NHL 10. In addition to Heppner, Priestess features Dan Watchorn (guitar, backing vocals), Mike Dyball (bass) and Vince Nudo (drums, percussion, backing vocals). TEE PEE RECORDS / SECRET SERPENTS / CONVERSE PRESENTFOG RISING2PM, November 7 Broadway Studios - 435 Broadway San Francisco, CA 21+ Over Sentimental stories continue to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Woodstock in the mainstream media. But the year was a turning point for rock 'n' roll -- when music fragmented into so many styles and scenes. Prog-rock. Metal. Experimental psych. Kraut-rock. Stoner-rock. Which is why Tee Pee Records, Secret Serpents, Converse present "FOG RISING" -- a celebration of the twisted offspring of that fragmentation. San Francisco is the home of the club festival concept, not to mention psychedelia and poster art. It all started here -- long before the masses passed out and latched onto Woodstock. Artwork will be displayed by famed poster artists, Alan Forbes, David D’Andrea, Alan Hynes and Marq Spusta. Among the bands performing are Witch featuring Mario Rubalcaba of Earthless on drums, this will be Witch's only west coast performance of 2009.
