Del took off yesterday to collect Julio at 9.15 and didn't return till neary 12 hours later, poor Julio having had his blood tested was on point of collapse so he was given an immediate blood transfusion - he is back home again and won't need to go out until next Thursday when he has to return to the hospital. I sat out on the terrace a while thinking of my daughter - her last day to get her dissertation done - to be handed in in today, I shall call her later. After the sun came thunder and much rain again but it was peaceful listening to it. Leigh n Keith are off to house and animal sit for Nikki n Gary today!!!! Valuable Information - information we are apt to forget all to easily When we feel pain, our first impulse is often to eradicate it with medication. This is an understandable response, but sometimes in our hurry to get rid of pain, we forget that it is the body's way of letting us know that it needs our attention. A headache can inform us that we're hungry or stressed just as a sore throat might be telling us that we need to rest our voice. If we override these messages instead of respond to them, we risk worsening our condition. In addition, we create a feeling of disconnectedness between our minds and our bodies. Physical pain is not the only kind of pain that lets us know our attention is needed. Emotional pain provides us with valuable information about the state of our psyche, letting us know that we have been affected by something and that we would do well to focus our awareness inward. Just as we tend to a cut on our arm by cleaning and bandaging it, we treat a broken heart by surrounding ourselves with love and support. In both cases, if we listen to our pain we will know what to do to heal ourselves. It's natural to want to resist pain, but once we understand that it is here to give us valuable information, we can relax a bit more, and take a moment to listen before we reach for medication. Sometimes this is enough to noticeably reduce the pain, because its message has been heard. Perhaps we seek to medicate pain because we fear that if we don't, it will never go away. It can be empowering to realize that, at least some of the time, it is just a matter of listening and responding. The next time you feel pain, either physical or emotional, you might want to try listening to your own intuition about how to relieve your pain. Maybe taking a few deep breaths will put an end to that headache. Perhaps writing in your journal about hurt feelings will ease your heart. Ultimately, the message of pain is all about healing.

Feeling Under The Weather
At times when we are detoxing our bodies, or going through the ascension process, we experience aches in our bodies and manifest flu like symptoms. We may find ourselves feeling fatigued and even sad, as if we might be coming down with something. This is a natural part of any cleansing process and commonly accompanies deep inner-work. As we are called to examine our emotions and our beliefs, which often prompts deep inner-changes as well as external shifts, our bodies grow tired. Feeling under the weather is the way they let us know that it's time to take a break. It's best to be easy on ourselves at times like these and not to keep pushing forward. Learning to listen to and honor our bodies is part of the process of becoming more conscious. As soon as you notice you are not feeling well, make an effort to get extra sleep, whether by going to bed earlier than usual or working naps into your routine. You can also support your body by eating as healthy as possible, drinking plenty of water and herbal teas, and taking vitamins. Vitamin C is especially galvanizing to the immune system. Homeopathic remedies can also aid you in assisting your body in its time of rest and recovery. Talking lovingly to yourself, and your body, will also help. Beyond that, simply letting go of thinking and resting in the deep silence of your true self will speed your recovery. In addition, you can always call upon your guides and angels, asking them to ease the symptoms. It is natural to go through times of feeling under the weather, so there is no reason for you to worry. On the contrary, feel free to let go of worry and rest peacefully in the knowledge that this too shall pass, leaving you stronger, healthier, and further along in your healing process.
How apt this one is as I am reminded of the fact that there will be reactions to all the inner work I have been doing of late and opportunity to test my intentions have certainly been abundant, no I haven't always managed to stay above it all, Monday being one of those days as I discover 2 people who I thought to be friends are not, I don't handle that kinda hurt to well :( On the other hand I had 3 wonderful emails for ladies very dear to my heart AND a phone call from my son J, who is moving south again to start a new job and be closer to his new lady.
Julio is now home but in quite a weak state, having lost a lot of blood is now anemic. He was in no fit state to come into the village yesterday and collect his car as he had planned, so D brought Amanda in to get some shopping, apparently J has a condition known as diverticulitus which is nothing to do with the bladder as first diagnosed, well plenty of Iron to boost the blood and muchos mas fibre to stave off future repititions.
Thanks to the annonymous soul who sent me a link to a free learn Spanish site much appreciated.
Well lets see what *opportunities* reveal themselves to me today.......

From April, 23 to April 27, the elite echelon of the military are running Noble Resolve 07, a four-day marathon of "simulated" terror attacks across the US and Europe. This includes a simulated detonation of a "loose" ten-kiloton nuclear weapon Virginia harbor, smuggled in by a "foreign nation."
This week Dick Cheney has also been warning of the "very real" threat of a nuclear attack on an American city. Could the Nobel Resolve drills be used as a screen for a false-flag attack to be blamed on Iran, Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, or sheep-dipped Americans like Adam Gadahn?
The drills are being run by Joint Task Force Command (JTFCOM), Northern Command (NORTHCOM), J9 Joint Innovation and Experimentation Directorate, FEMA's command bunker, the Department of Homeland Security, and Virginia police.
The US Marines are also running "Emerald Express 07" in Virginia on April 24 as part of their Urban Warrior 07 drill package.

Care2 Earth Day E-Cards!
Stepping out onto the terrace this morning there is a gentle soft rain falling, the mists wallowing in the valleys below us, the air is clean and fresh and full of the sound of bird song and the village is still asleep.
Dolores knocked at the door yesterday morning and started talking at her express train speed, I catch a few words here and there, finally she takes me through to the kitchen and points at a saucepan, which I give her, she toddles off only to return a couple of hours later with a big pan of casserole, which was exceedingly tasty, I think this is a thank you for the cutting of one of my plants I gave to her the other day, oh I wish I could find a buddy to learn Spanish, I feel so stoopid at times like this; there is no way I can afford to take a Spanish course and I find myself staying *hidden* because I cannot converse with these lovely ladies that surround me, 5 years down the line and I am ashamed of my lack of language skills.
Val called up on Thursday and we spent a few hours catching up and inspiring one another, I do miss her presence, she has left 4 of her beautiful bright bold paintings in her house here and told me to go chose a couple - ooooooo - maybe pop round later today, they have such a vibrant energy and will certainly brighten the hallway upstairs, what a honey; she is also gonna check out a craft market held in Benhavis to see if it is the kinda market that would be suitable for my stuff a the regular inland markets are not the best of places for me to try and sell my wares. Lovely Annie, the Dutch lady reappeared on Friday so have got her email addy now and hopefully Annie could be a good contact for Val, who would really love to use her art as a way of helping others
Open Heart Spiritual teachers have always pointed to the heart as the seat of consciousness, and recently Western science has found evidence to support this realization. It turns out that the heart has its own central nervous system and is not simply under the rule of the brain as formerly believed. Anyone who has taken the time to explore the heart knows this and, more important, has realized that the heart is the source of our connection to a consciousness greater than the ego. Approaching life with an open heart means that we have opened the door to this greater consciousness, taking up residence alongside it in the seat of our soul. Fortunately, at this time there is a lot of support for this shift energetically as well as practically. To some degree, approaching life with an open heart is as simple as shifting your attention onto your heart. Eventually you will be able do this any time, any place, but at first it may help to try it in a quiet place where you won't be disturbed. Simply sit with your eyes closed and draw your breath into your heart. As your breath expands your chest cavity, your heart expands and opens. You may feel tenderness or sadness in your heart, and you may also feel relief. Any emotions that arise can be effectively witnessed and healed through the meditation process, which benefits both your physical heart and your energetic heart. The more you practice, the more you will find your heart opening to your own presence and to all the situations your life brings. When we open our hearts, they may feel tender and vulnerable, which simply means that they need our loving attention as we cleanse and heal them of past hurts and blockages. This process asks us to practice some of the heart's greatest lessons-patience, compassion, and unconditional love. On the other hand, we may take up residence as effortlessly as a bird returns to its nest. Either way, approaching life with an open heart simply means returning to our true home.

Ricardo Semler's employees set their hours, determine their salaries and choose their bosses. Meet the Brazilian businessman who does everything differently Why are so few companies in the world run like Semco? Ricardo Semler: "Because managers are afraid to lose power and control."
It's striking that your books never mention the word "leader." "Leadership is way overrated. In fact I don't call the courses I teach at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology "leadership courses." I think the idea is outdated that leadership is only relegated to a few and that it can be planned, structured and developed."
