So, we've been spending alot time at home lately, anew house, and no money can do that to a gal. Daisy and I have been spending a ton of time gardening, and playing in the dirt! And I must, it's amazing what some seeds, a bag of horse shit, old coffee grounds, and 500 wroms will get ya these days!!! What I wasn't expecting was to walk out one day and....holy crap everything was starting to bloom all at once! Wonderful, crazy, veggie clusterfuck of garden gnome goodness!!! I think it's safe to say we might have went a little over board in the planting, but yippee!! We have 6 different types of tomatos,4 zuchinni plants, 1 lemon cuccumber plant,2 strawberry plants,1 mint plant, 4 basil plants,1 thyme plant,4 anahiem pepper plants,3 green bell pepper plant,11 serrano pepper plant1 grape vine (we can't that won't stay dead), and a partrige in a pear tree. I'm crazy proud of our first garden in the new house, and I haven't even mentioned all the funny flowers, and catus and crap too! I'm just very excited about the whole deal!

I'm very pleased to announce that Chris,Daisy,Baxter, and I ahve a new friend! Monday we had the pleasure of addopting Ivy! We rescued Ivy from the El Cajon Animal Shelter(the pound). Shes a 1 year old baby pitbull puppy, and shes beautiful, such a soft temperment, and full of love. Ivy was orrigianlly found abandoned in a trailer with a min-pin(god only knows how long those pieces of shit left them there before someone found them). Daisy and I saw the first day she was allowed out in gen-pop and it was love at first sight! Baxter took to her right away and has been eager to play ever since. Ivy, and the rest of us have been falling in love everyday shes been here. The new addition has really perked the spirtits of everyone in the house(Baxter too). We're really lucky to have her. It was sad to findout that out every 600 pitbulls that end up in the shelter, 1 finds a home, the other 599 are very likely too be put to sleep. So, I know in my heart and soul tat we did the right thing by bringing home this wonderful pitbull baby girl.

Okay so I have to start by saying that this is soooo stupid, and sooo lame it's almost funny.
Chris and I save our cans and bottles so that we can take them to the recycling place, and get some cash back twards our grocery shopping. So last week I put all our cans into 3 bags, and set them in the back yard. Then life got crazy with the new house, and work and I decidee I would just take them this weekend.
Well, two days ago someone stole two bags of our cans!! Out of my backyard!! And today I wake up, and get in my car to go by cold medicine, AND SOMEONE CAME BACK AND STOLE MY LAST BAG OF FUCKING CANS!!!!
OUT OF OUR BACKYARD!!!
I can't wait to move out of this dump!!! This street has gotten worse over the last 6 months, and now they're stealing bags of cans!!!
FRIGGIN' UNBELIEVABLE!!!

lately i can't help but feeling alittle proud. proud of my life, proud of myself, proud of my husband, proud of who i have has my close circle of friends, proud of my parents, and proud of my aunt who is fighting (and winning cancer rightnow).
i don't talk very openly about my life in my blogs very often, but lately i've been feeling like i just have to share. karma has finally evened out, and the world seems to be working with me, and not against me. awsome!!!
recently my husband and i were lucky enough to be able to buy a house here in san diego. i can't even begin to explain how much of a dream come true this is, and how lucky i consider myself. we are very proud to now be calling ourselves homeowners. our names are going on the title tommorrow!!! after we get things settled i will be posting lots of pics of our new home!
my husband has landed a great job almost straight out of school!! everyday i get to hear fun stories of crazy shit that went on in the shop, and see how much more happy he is. it's very important to be able to do what you love, and i'm very proud of him for working so hard to get where he is, and that it's working out so well for him. he's really living the "american dream".
as of tommorrow i will be paying off yet another credit card!!! again awsome!!! in the last 1 year i've been able to pay off 2 cards. so target your done, i owe you nothing, release your credit grip on my soul you harpy!!! haha, i win!! i also just checked online and they have raised my credit limit on my remaining card, and as of tommorrow morning it will be paid down to half the amount owed.
my parents are living a crazy wonderful life in retiremant. it's inspiring to look at all they are able to do in they're 60's. at the moment chucks enjoying jazz fusion in key largo(jimmy buffet style)!
my family abroad....i love you, jag saknar dig. you inspire me to reamin level headed, and strong. mamma ulla what a true example of a strong woman.
i'm very proud of my close circle of friends. whether they see it or not they are all wonder and very accomplished in they're own right, and i love them for it! they're buisiness owners, artists, creative minds, students, mothers, fathers, and loving, great people, & friends. and those of you who are across the pond, you are very important to me as well, i love you, and miss you daily.
at present i am fully ahppy with where my life is, where it's going, and who is in it.

Myspace, cellphones, txt n other moders bulls""t....... |
| Body: |
Remember back in the old days when people sent letters, called a phone (that didn t even have an answearing machine), actually MET people and hung out? I know that it still happens but lately the whole Myspace craze, cellphones n "have to be accesible 24/7"-attitude has been buggin me.
Belive it or not, we re still here, the people that CAN T be on myspace at work OR talk on the cellphone at work either, AND when we have a few minutes off from working try to be good husbands/wifes/parents and hence WON T go online the first thing we do!
Now, i don t think that all these things are bad or that we should go back in time before all these inventions were made but a few things to think about if you are one of those 24/7 accessable people:
If I haven t met you in person, don t be upset if i don t walk up to you and introduce myself. Chanses are i don t even recognize you since we all try to show ourselfs from our best sides on here and look very different in real life.
Wanna talk to me, walk up to me and introduce YOURSELF!
If you want to invite me to an event, shoot the shit, tell me something that you feel is important CALL me. If you send something online be prepared for it taking some time for me to get back to you and don t expect me to know that i was invited to something.
When you call my cellphone or my homephone and i don t answear LEAVE A MESSAGE! I m partially deaf and can t use bluetoothcrap in the car, working 16 hours a day and won t call unknown numbers and won t spend time calling ppl back that called hours ago and probably just wanted to see what i was up to.
If there s something of substance you want to say leave a message and i WILL call you back when i get a chanse! Same as above go for txts, if it s important i WILL send one back, if not you just have to wait.
Sorry for rantin an ravin, but lateley it seems i ve missed out on stuff or ppl think i m mean cuz i don t spend my entire life online or on a cellphone.
And HOW ironic i did send out a Myspacebulletin about it! | ..TABLE>

Yesturday I watched our 63' Impala drive off for good.

I've just loved this car, the color, the interior, and the smooth, smooth ride. But Chris is trading the Impala out for a 52' Nash Ambassador. The 52' is almost done being rebulit, painted, and the finishing touches are on the way. Next year we're driving this beauty to Viva!!
This is the 52' as it stands now in the barn.
And this is what they look like in all the original glory!!
And the newest addition to our classic car,hot rod family is a 32' Nash Lafayette. Chris told me 2 days ago that this car was my early anniversary presant!!! What a wonderful husband I have!!!!!
At the moment the 32' is in a barn and covered with alot of the original trim, seats, window, hood ornaments, etc and needs to be cleared out. But the body is straight & pretty much the entire engine is there(minus the radiator). SWEET BEANS!!!!!! It is a 4 door sedan with suicide doors, and still has the original black paint on!! This is what it will look like when it gets all the TLC it needs. I can't wait!!!

Current mood: energetic
Category: Life
I'm feeling a nice burst of energy today! Now that Chris is out of the house, I'm going to pop over to the gym for an hour, goto my moms house, drop off some goodies at Goodwill, come home, put away the clean laundry, clean the kitchen, and I think I'd like to make a kitche, or perhaps a hearty meat pie for dinner, and some spiced apples for dessert. Now I'm leaving the spiced apples as an up in the air option(if time allows).
I just got done putting my kitchen cabnets in order, and now know exactly how many mixing bowls, casserole dishes, pie dishes, kitche forms, trivels, pitchers, etc. And, wow! I have come to the realization that perhaps I don't need anymore vintage cookware for alittle while. Now flatware, and china is a whole nother story altogether, but we'll get to that at another date.
Tommorrow we're starting Memorial Day off by meeting with my finacial advisor over at UBS. It's time to start taking things into consideration. The Capricorn in me is in full swing, and it's wonderful!
*I'm sooo very excited to know that my brother in law is comming to SAn Diego this September!!!! Last week I organized the guest room, so it's ready for him when he comes!!! I can't wait to see Micro!!!
