Possibly Last Preggo Blog...

Ello again All. It is friday afternoon and I'm home alone with a crappy cold. My husband is at work and the parents are out grocery shoppin'. Here's a medical update on the pregnancy. I'm now 37 weeks which is considered full term, so if the baby is born after now, he should be fine. I see the doctor once a week now and just saw her on Wednesday. At that appointment we found out that my blood pressure is still high and is becoming a problem. So I had more blood taken and had to do a 24 hour urine sample, that was interesting. And because my doctor is only in the office on friday next week, she has schedualed me to see another doctor on monday to go over the results and check my blood pressure & weight again. I had gained 5 pounds in one week, not a good thing at all. It makes my blood pressure higher and puts me at greater risk for Pre-eclampsia. Which is a preggo problem, for those that don't know what it is. So I;m taking it as easy as possible, which is hard when I'm sick. Coughing every 5 minutes, blowing my nose constantly, plus I can;t take anything for it! Tomorrow is my first birthing class, which should be interesting. But as it looks, I might not get to next weeks. My doctor is very worried about the blood pressure, so if it doesnt go down, or gets worse. She will have me induced, prolly next friday or saturday. Maybe even earlier if the test results are bad on monday. I shall keep you all posted! Any questions about anything just ask. I'm kinda flaky right now since my head is so stuffed up. The baby's room was finnially finished being painted, its practicly all set up. We bought a travel system, carseat & stroller set. The baby's bed is all ready for him. So we are pretty much all set if he decides to make an early entrance or is forced too.

Another baby/life update

So if by some chance you didn't see the bulletin about us having to cancle the big somewhat fancy wedding, I'm saying it here. My family, me and Tommy have to move by the end of the month. Having to deal with the stress and money issues of that made us decide to still have a very very small ceremony but no reception for our wedding. Sometime after we find a place and move in, we plan on having a baby shower. Since we havent found a place yet its still up in the air as to the when and where of that. More on that at a later time. Also due to the stress of all that plus being almost 6.5 months pregnant, I gave my notice at my work. My last day is Sept. 26th. We have applied to a place to move to in Ashby, no word back on that as of yet. Also if this one doesn't work out we are going to try for a place that can take our beloved dog, we dont want to give her up unless we absolutly have to!!! OOOO We finnially have an ultrasound appointment on the 22nd I'll let everyone know how that goes!!! But now its naptime b4 I go to work... TTYL!

Second Preggo Blog

Ello again All! Just a quick update on the family to be. I'm now 18 or close to 5 months along. I finnially gained 7 lbs, my doctor is happy lol I will be getting another ultrasound in about a month, should find out the sex then if the baby cooperates. Also we have finnialized the Wedding Date to October 11th 2008. We will be sending out the invatations at the end of Augast. I've been working alot, getting tired alot. Stressed out to the Max about everything. Talk to everyone again when I get the free time.

First Pregnancy Blog

Ello All! Just thought I'd start writing down the trials and tribulations of my pregnancy so far...

Well as of right now, I still don't know how far along I am. I'm guessing between 4-7 weeks. They usually can tell from my "last missed period", but I've never had normal ones so that can't be taken into consideration. I'm currently waiting to get ahold of my primary care doctor so she can approve a blood test to check a certain hormon to see how far along I am. And of course my doctor is only at the office I go to on Thursdays, she wasnt in last Thursday so I hope she is in this week. Because I don't know how far along I am, I can't go see an OBGYN until I find out and I am at least 8 weeks along. Plus as of right now I have commonwealth care, it limits who I can see in the area. Now that I am pregnant I can apply for Masshealthy, which is more pregnancy/ baby orrianted. I just sent in the application for Masshealth so I should hear from them in a week or two. That way I can have my doc and have the baby in Leominster as opposed to Worcester. I can see it now.... My dad doing mach 3 down 190 when my water just broke. NOT FUN!!!!!

As for being pregnant, its been ok so far. I pee alot lol I can't take my Prilosec for my acid reflux so I chew on 2 tums every couple hours. The cramps feel like pms cramps. The main thing is I now have to eat for two but since I'm overweight I can't over do it. I eat healthier, take prenatal vitamins. I'm going to start walking more to keep my weight (as much as possible) at a stand still. Not many cravings as of yet, I eat alot of pickles lol But I always have. Sweets are a big thing I need to cut back on.

I'll keep everyone updated as the weeks go on! Tommy, my BF and I do want to know the sex of the baby. I'm told I need to be at least 3 months along b4 we can tell. More to come....
