Unbelievably I've had some time off from work; had a holiday in Mexico and plenty of down-time at home walking the dog and catching up with friends and family.
Now I'm back in Berlin for all of March - except for 27th, when I'm playing at the Alban Arena, St Albans with my band - and working at the Estrel's Stars In Concert. Flew here yesterday and spent all of Sunday talking with Denita and my chums here: some new faces this time, so plenty to look forward to in the new German show.
I'm back in the UK for all of April with a handful of theatre shows, so come and see me soon.
I'm also writing the new theatre show for my UK autumn tour while I'm here. It's taking shape and will show off some of my other impressions as well as Dusty, including Cher, Tina Turner and some brand new characters: watch out for news and venue dates here and on my website - www.katysetterfield.com.
So please keep in touch and let me know when you're coming to see me!

Well I've been back more than a week now and at last I'm beginning to feel like I've had a rest! Andy and I, with the lovely Carole Todd, have started writing the next show for autumn this year AND we've got just a few new dates for Spring (to be posted here and on my website, www.katysetterfield.com very soon). I'm flying back to Germany this weekend for a one-night show in Dortmund, then visiting my friends at the Berlin gig on Sunday to watch their Motown show. I'm hoping to find time on Tuesday to get some new Cher photos done, and on Wednesday we're off to Mexico for a much needed holiday. Thank you all once again for sending so many cards and gifts over the holiday period, and also for your continuing support and kindness.I hope to see you all on the road soon. Katy x

Just a quick note to say thank you to you all for your amazing support throughout the last year. It's incredible to think I moved to the BBC hotel to start rehearsals for 'The One & Only' exactly a year ago tomorrow: so much has happened since then, and I've loved every second of it.
2009 promises to be even more exciting, with more international work very soon and an even larger UK Tour being planned for the autumn. There are more dates here for March and April, so do check out my website for details - www.katysetterfield.com - as they arrive.

Hello from Berlin!
I have no idea where the last month has gone to. The tour seems like minutes ago, yet I'm almost in my last week out here in Germany! I'm performing nightly at the Estrel, which is a huge modern hotel with many large conference rooms and a fantastic reputation for its entertainment.
The other acts here are simply phenomenal: Elvis, Whitney, Aretha, Boy George, Louis Armstrong, Blues Brothers, The Four Tops and more - 6 of us play each night to 800 or more in the audience. I'm loving it here and i've already agreed to coming back in 2009. I'll let you know the dates. I return to England just after New Year, but come back to Berlin 2 weeks later for a gala night in front of 5000 people!.
This has been such a wonderful end to the best year of my life so far. Everything that has happened to me - winning the TV show; Vegas; the UK tour; Berlin; much much more! - I have to thank you all for.
The future looks good too, with spring dates and a REALLY big UK tour next autumn to look forward to. I hope you'll all come along once more and see our ideas grow onto another audience and critically acclaimed success.
Finally, a huge thank you to the hundreds of you who have sent me cards wishing me a happy Christmas and new year as well as all your letters, cards, presents and good wishes throughout the year. You have all been so overwhelmingly kind, generous and supportive: my thoughts, thanks and love are sent to you here and now.

We're only 2 gigs away from the end of this tour: its gone far too quickly and we've enjoyed every step of the journey. You've all made us so welcome at every venue across the whole country, and we know both the management and audience at each and every show have wanted us back in the near future - so we'll be seeing you all again soon!
Spring dates are already taking shape: currently we don't know if that tour will be as long as this one, BUT plans for Autumn 2009 - and a brand new show! - are already taking shape, so please tell everyone you know that this is just the beginning!
This Sunday - Aldershot - is Al Vosper's (our incredible guitarist) last gig with us this year, so please be there to give him the best send off possible. (He's also playing live on Radio 4, Clive Anderson's show, 18.15-ish this Saturday if you can listen in) The rest of the band (and Al's dep, Tim Wedlake) will be all fired up for the last show in Barnstaple, and you can bet those naughty keyboards - Sam and Darren - will both be ready with extra dancing and larking about!
Meanwhile, I'm having a Christmas meal with my Mum and friends this weekend as I'm off to Berlin for all of December right after the final tour date! I'll send you details of that venue as I discover it.

Still enjoying the tour so much! Last week we had some grueling journeys around the country, but the fantastic welcome you continue to give me and my show never ceases to amaze!
Playing hard has always gone hand-in-hand with working hard for me: a Travelodge cheese and wine party may not sound particularly rock'n'roll, but combine it with a 600 mile drive between back-to-back gigs at the end of 3 solid months of touring and you'll start to see why we all looked so tired by Grays on Friday.
Brilliant gigs all week and great to meet up with friends and colleagues at so many venues recently.
Children in Need this Friday; my performance is in Coventry (between my Scunthorpe and Chatham gigs) at lunchtime AND hopefully another broadcast from Chatham when we get there. Look out for me but, most importantly, don't forget to donate to this fabulous cause!
Spring dates are beginning to come in now, so watch this space for the next tour taking shape.

At last - a day off! It's been a mad few weeks since I last wrote the blog; travelling up and down the country with the theatre tour AND the odd private gig to fill up those free days! We went to Scotland 3 times during October, and our visit to the Isle of Man was huge fun too!
You all have such lovely things to say about the show and it's great to hear from you on the gig and the net, and via the PO Box - please keep in touch! I'm putting together the next series of dates for the new year, so watch out for publicity and I'll see you all again in 2009. In spring I'm hoping to take this current show out to all the other venues we didn't get to this autumn AND then plan a new and even more varied and exciting show for later in the year. Summer and Christmas shows are also very much on the cards too!
So excited about my 'Children in Need' appearance, which will be live from Coventry on the 14th November, rather than from London on the night. Our show is in Chatham that night so it was always unlikely that I'd be on the live national programme: but do watch out for me and let me know if you see any of the songs.
Another busy week ahead of us now - Felixstowe last night, Bolton, Barrow, Grays, Peterborough still to come - but then just 6 more gigs before I go to Berlin for December: none of us want it to end, we're having so much fun on the road!
Hoping to see you out and about soon and long into the future.

Everything is going so smoothly (don't mention the rogue PA that turned up in Stockport!) on tour and I can tell by your reaction that you love the show as much as I do. The band and girls just get better and better; I couldn't have wished for a more capable bunch - and we're having too much fun on the road! The tour bus is awash with biscuits, empty wine bottles, DVDs and blankets as we travel up and down the country together from one packed venue to another. Even so it's nice to have a night off and put my feet up in front of 'Strictly'.
I'm still doing radio and press interviews every day, and I've just lined up a live TV performance on 'Children in Need' - so watch out for that
I can't get over how many familiar faces I see at gigs; people from the past and new regulars who seem to be following the show nightly - thank you all for your overwhelming support.
Andy & I are in talks for continuing this tour next spring in more theatres and at some old TBTD venues around the UK. Then we'll have a new show ready for later in 2009 and, who knows, a summer show and a run of Christmas specials - so do watch this space. We're having far too much of a good time to let this end now, and your enjoyment and encouragement prove we have a future to look forward to. Can't wait to share it with you all!
Great to hear from so many of you daily too - do keep in touch.

Hello all
Had a hard but totally enjoyable four days around the country this week; now it's my birthday AND a day off! Curry in Chelsea and a lie-in - what could be better?
I'd like to thank you all - fans old and new - for your cards and birthday wishes: they're so much appreciated.
Also thank you for your kind words about the tour, CD and brochure. It's all going well and so great to meet so many of you after the shows.
I'm still hoping to get on several TV shows to promote the tour, and there are already plans for a follow-up tour in Spring 2009 as well as a new show for the summer/autumn - maybe even a run of Christmas specials next year too.
I'm in Berlin for December the day after this tour finishes, at a great Hotel complex. I'll try and post details here when I have them if any of you are keen to come over.
Now I'm going back to a glass of champagne in the garden to make the most of this decent weather. Have a fun weekend. We'll speak soon!
