Well I have been thinking and h
ave just got my head all together and can remember just about everything from my trip to America, so I thought I would fill you all in!
It started in Sydney on the 29th May early Thursday cold rainy winter morning. Get to the Airport check in was a breeze, Breakfast was a bit of a wait and CUSTOMS was easy! Everything was just too easy... But then came the big Delay for TAKE OFF... Finally 4 hours later we get to take off... I was over Sydney and sick of the airport by then... But we get to Take Off and I am a happy little VEGEMITE!
The Plane trip was fun with 2 hours sleep, cramps and being very hungry... Watching lots of movies and crying from start to finish to the lovely movie P.S I LOVE YOU.
14 Hours later and we arrive in LA. Then the fun begins... We stayed at Anaheim right across from DISNEYLAND, so yes I went to disneyland and played on the TEACUPS hehehe... But when we first got to California I did what all girls do and went Shopping... The shopping was so so good... Loved it!
The Next day we get up nice and early and go and do a tour of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and The Stars Houses... Yes I saw the PLAYBOY MANSION... Well the gate and a Window, if that counts..
Went to Universal Studios and met Scoobydoo and BeatleJuice... All the rides were so fun at Universal and Disneyland and yes the Kid in me came out!
But finally it was time to go to the BIG NASHVILLE... I was so excited and couldn't wait to get there. I arriveto LAX AIRPORT and there are so many of my friends on the Plane from LA to Nashville. Glen Hannah, Felicity Urquhart and BJ COLLINS... I was so excited to see all of these beautiful people it was making my trip even more exciting...
We get to Nashville 7pm on Sunday 1st June and head for dinner... It was really overwhelming for me to walk up and down broadway and see all of this! Nashville was a dream for me that came true! We have an early night and get prepared for the week ahead of gigs and fun.
Wake up Monday morning 2nd june and its my 21st BIRTHDAY! I get my first kiss off the man ALLAN TOMKINS... hehehehe It was the best birthday... Had my first gig in Nashville at the Sheraton with TOMKINS guitars and then the party started at 8.30pm... Heading down to The Stage and seeing Troy Cassar-Daley playing in Nashville on my 21st Birthday was truly a highlight for me! I got to see so many great players and artists play during the Festival... But 2 of my main Highlights were on my Birthday I saw Nick Carter from the BACKSTREET BOYS play and then the next day I got to see the Amazing GARY ALLAN play at his Fan Club Party! It was truly a magical week in Nashville... I played the Full Moon Honky Tonk and the Fiddle and Steel (where rascall flatts and gretchen wilson use to play) absolutely amazing...
Then it is time for me to farwell Nashville (obviously i havent told you everything to much to tell, but there will be photos) and head to LAS VEGAS. Arrive in LAS VEGAS terminal and there are SLOT MACHINES everywhere...
Las Vegas is so so pretty in the night Lights everywhere and people having fun everywhere... I celebrated my 21st AGAIN in Vegas, just coz this place is buzzing... I got to meet ELVIS yes the real ELVIS and I got to meet the pretend Jay Leno... I did so much shopping again in Las Vegas as thats what girls do best...
I had my last night at the COYOTE UGLY BAR and I did Australia and Country Music Proud and I danced my heart out on that bar... HEHEHEHE...
Vegas was full of food, Shopping, dancing and having fun for me... There are lots of photos of the people I met and the fun I had...
There are so many photos and I hope you enjoy them as I enjoyed taking them just for you...
That is my holiday in Brief too hard to explain all the fun on here have to do it all in person hehehe...
