hey everyone, we got back from tour last week and things have been kinda crazy ever since...we had a blast and i'm going to do the whole "tour diary" thing on our blogspot account...

also, we had our cd release party and i can't thank everyone enough for coming out and supporting us...it was literally overwhelming.  lay down mains and rizzudo absolutely killed it...there were new tunes by the Durant bros, and LDM was typically brilliant. 

what else...oh yeah, you can get our new cd at criminal records and wax N fax...and on iTunes.   you can get 'em at our shows too...along with sweet t-shirts...

so onto the future:  we're gonna try our darnedest to write and record a new record VERY soon, hopefully by the end of summer...with a tour to follow.  those are the immediate goals.  we are goal-oriented team players.

we leave for tour tomorrow.  we’re pleased to announce that greg stevens (of Hex Error, Ghost Tour, the Close, GBV and Weezer cover bands fame) will be manning the drum kit for the duration of the tour....we all know he likes to "man" things!  he’s done this tour thing many times before...so he’s also like our obi wan kenobi.

but yeah, we’re totally bummed that matt drums couldn’t make it, but we all gotta make that coin, and sometimes that means deadlines and stuff.  sucks.  but when we get back, we’ve already got some new material we’re working on.  plus, we have a couple sweet shows when we get back. 

check the show list.  we’re playing with some really really great bands.  it’s gonna be the bomb. 

...so yeah, to the loyal liverheads, i know it’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally doing it.  a full-lenght and a tour.  like a real band or something.

so we've got some exciting stuff coming up in the next few months.  our new record is done and will drop in the near future.  we're also setting up a tour for april which is gonna be dope.  once the record is completely done, we'll be sure to post a new song up on here...until then, enjoy the songs that have been up on here for a year or so....sorry about that.  

so our good buddy marc's last broadcast on WRAS 88.5 was saturday...he's been excellent to us over the last year or so and we're gonna miss hearing his voice over the airwaves telling us useless musical trivia and announcing the good music. so to send him off w/ a bang, he brought in a bunch of bands to the studio to perform/hangout. 3/4 of the liverhearts (w/ guest appearance by trey bass) were in the studio and they played 2 songs: 2002 and 2003. 1/4 of the liverhearts were in columbia south carolina. this 1/4 of the band is responsible for vocal duties, so what was the solution? we phoned it in...literally. Weaves called in on one phone and listened on another. he sang (poorly) to those 2 songs over the phone...a 2-state performance...and to our knowledge this hasn't been done. if it has, please don't tell us and kill our buzz. so yeah, it was a stunt and probably sounded more 'funny' than good, but it was fun nonetheless. in other news, we're are still writing new stuff. please don't forget about us.
