In early 80's, with extreme music character and radical style which
emphasized the aesthetic visuals, 「44MUGNUM」has appeared to the scene.
It developed the hard rock scene that existed from late 70's to a new
Japanese heavy metal movement.

「44MUGNUM」was formed in 1977 mainly by PAUL(Vo.). After few member
changes, PAUL, JIMMY(G), BAN(B), JOE(Ds.) , the band's original member
get together in 1982. In the independent music scene, they broke the
mobilization record of live houses in the whole country, their power was
ever-growing.  On December 21,'83 they make their sensational debut with
「DANGER」.
They managed 150 live shows through a year, and their sound and style
has influenced Japanese rock field the most. They broke up in April,1989
once, but in 2002 restarted again with the album 「IGNITION」. After an
interval of 17 years, they held a live show in this March.

Was formed in 1978 mainly by Ishihara (Guitar).
Through few member changes the band settled with present members in 1980.
They made their debut with the full album 『Earthshaker』in 1983.
『MORE』or『RADIO MAGIC』are their major hit. Their sound is quite intense like hard rock or heavy metal, but most of them can be hummedeasly.

In 1986, they played in Nihon-Budokan for the first time as a Japanese hard rock, heavy metal band, and after that added the keyboard and formed as 5 members.

They broke up in 1994 once, but decide to re-form again in 1999. 

In 2001 they made their real comeback to the scene with the album 『Birthday』after an interval of 8 years, and continued reliable live acts at the live houses they played from their debut.

2008, their 25th year, they released 『Quarter』which is even harder and even more melodious. It is their comprehensive album.

Born in JAPAN
As a guitarist of L'Arc-en-Ciel, he made his debut in majors with
the video EP『Nemuriniyosete』and the album『Tierra』 (Ki/oon Sony
Records) in 1994, released 28 EPs and 10 albums so far.
In 1996, the album 『True』sold over a million for their first time,
and in 1999 the number of sales of double released albums 『ask』and
『ray』reached 6 millions. In 1997, the ticket for their live concert
at Tokyo-dome was sold out in only 4 minutes. Their live tour
「1999 GRANDCROSS TOUR」(total 12 shows) drew audiences totaling
650,000 people, and was broadcast over Asian countries. In 2005「ASIA
LIVE 2005」in Seoul and Shanghai were a great success and also made him
known as a member of a monster band of Asia.
On the other hand, he also plays an active as a Vocal and guitar
in SONS OF ALL PUSSYS from 2002. With his initial impulse, he has done
nationwide live tour, performed in SUMMER SONIC '03, and also live
concert in Asian countries, and has released 3 mini albums, 3 EPs, and
3 DVDs so far. His activity is being developed with his desire
"do something fun" simply and aggressively.
This time his strong individuality and many sides of music character,
like expression of his own feelings or ideal uniting of rock and
emotions are emphasized strongly. The works that benefits from his
experience of L'Arc-en-Ciel or S.O.A.P., or away from those something
quite introspective, or something he approached experimentally.
All these works are the answer to what he can do as solo.

In 1997, Miya (Guitar) formed MUCC with SATOchi in the wake of meeting with Tatsuro (Vocal). Yukke joined the band in 1999, completing MUCC's perfect harmony. They are very tough band, the total number of the performances they did so far is over 600 times. They named 2006 as "Devilish Years", released singles and albums for the 4th month running, went on a world tour in China, Germany and France, and had a one-man show at Nippon Budokan for the first time as their final show of the world tour. In 2007, after the national tour (17 shows in total), they went on a world tour again (10 shows in Europe and one show in China), had some shows in Japan, and released 2 best albums "BEST OF MUCC" and "WORST OF MUCC". In June, their show that took place in Tokyo was broadcast live throughout the world via Yahoo! Japan. In July, they performed as an opening act of GUNS N' ROSES WORLD TOUR 2007 (7 shows in total). Most of their albums including their latest album "Gokusai" are already released in Europe and the live-album "Psychedelic Analysis" are released in Finland and Germany.
