Chevelle will hit the Hooligans stage March 11th!!!!!

So I guess by now everyone has heard that The Westboro Church (cult) will be protesting against our troops on Saturday Jan. 26th at the Beirut Memorial. (Of all places!) We want the men and women that live here and serve in the U.S. Marine Corps and other branches of the military to know that we support you and that you are appreciated. I don't know what is wrong with these people....its ironic that you serve to protect the right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion and these people want to call you the devil and all kinds of crazy things. ( These are the same people who are going around protesting at the funerals of fallen marines and soldiers!) Anyone and Everyone that lives in the local area should show up to let these assholes know they are not welcome here and we will not stand for ANYONE attacking the people that make up our city and community. If you don't know much about this cult check out the website ( Which just the name will tell you alot!) www.godhatesfags.com   Read the comments made about our military, our country, our community and they even have a few things on there for you....Yeah I said YOU...Its madness...If it wasn't so scary that people actually believe this shit it would be funny. I will be across the street from them at 11:00am this Saturday and would love some company...I've never "protested" anything in my life but enough is enough!! So here it is....Saturday January 26th, 11:00am across the street from The Beirut memorial on Hwy 24....Bring your picket sign....and some coffee!!!!I'll see you there....

Apparently Arch Enemies singer was not feeling well and could not perform.....Maybe there will be a make up date....I will keep you posted...Other than that the show was kick ass and everyone seemed to enjoy it...This week we have Gwar on Thursday, The Horrorpops on Friday and Hank the 3rd on Sunday...Probably our strongest and most varied week yet. I hope you all enjoy the shows that we all work hard to bring you. David Alan Coe will perform in January and there is lots of surprises in the works. I personally think it sucks...but there is nothing that I can do about it...They are both my good friends and I hate to see bad things happen to good people. It is shocking that the station would take away such a well liked show...Good Luck my friends...you will be back on the air somewhere....and we'll be listening...B
