1. New Design Lyrics by Austin Roberts
V1: You know that I tried to hold it all before. But everything collides it's shaken me to the core.
V2: I'd like to tell you all my fears walk on out that door our direction is unclear can I pull out of this war.
Pre-chorus: It's hard to leave All this behind Even for love But I've got to try It is hard to carry This heart of mine. this heart of mine
Chorus: I'm ready for something That's bigger and louder brighter and faster it's your new design But I need persistence To run in this race it's rarely convenient To live for today
V3: I can feel this weight That I've been trying to let go it is holding me back bringing me to the floor
Bridge: There's love in the dark and beauty at night When the stars come out to shine The world looks bright
2. Rocket lyrics by Austin Roberts
Verse 1: I want to really live I want to really die Of every passing chance so I won't miss
B section: Cause nothing's made sense On this side of the sky I just want to be High enough to catch your eye So I'm waiting on a rocket to ride
Chorus: Come up through the atmosphere I've been trying to get away from here This is a moment for the ages As I let go of fear Will you take me from here
Verse 2: To trust is to live to fear is to die For the first time I know I am free
3. This Ends With Me Lyrics by Austin Roberts
Verse 1: She got so lost inside the noise Of beating drums to her own way. Now all these boys can't make her feel Lovely anymore. I do not want to make this choice If black is white and white is gray. A single voice out in the cold Of separated souls
Bridge: We've got to recognize We're nothing by ourselves Love can be a bitter thing And put God on the shelf
Chorus: Revelation, come to me Transformation, set us free My generational decree: This ends with me It ends with me.
Verse 2: I'm seeking out the voice of truth To align my heart with yours But I'm seduced by this excuse: "Love is all you need." Peace and love might change the world But freedom still starts wars. So what it seems is right and wrong Is nothing anymore.
4. Jubilee lyrics by Austin Roberts
V1: We've reached the line And won't pull back It's our chance to define it's our chance to define
What life is worth It's more than this Now is our time now is our time
Bridge: When all the stars Fall from the sky Just remember just remember
Chorus: Redemption is coming near It's jubilee, it's jubilee It's time to prepare For jubilee This is jubilee
V2: We're dropping bombs With every song We're fighting til the end we're fighting til the end
We will not stop 'Til we have won We've waited far too long we've waited far too long.
5. Undone Lyrics by Austin Roberts Music by Eustace
Verse 1: I know we can get there It's not so far away We can ride on angel's wings It will be our test of fate
Bridge: It's just a game we play To get to the other side It's a game that we play And we hope for an easy ride
Chorus: Doubt falls with the rain And the colors fade to gray Doubt falls with the rain A mother's birthing pains Doubt falls with the rain Our questions are the same we cannot be undone
Verse 2: Believe in tomorrow To forget about today We've always been trying To make our minds change
6. BREAK THE DAY lyrics by Tristin Roberts Music by Eustace
Verse 1: You've been sitting lifeless there while the world flies on by At a million miles per hour you cannot catch the ride.
Bridge 1: Looks like apathy has a hold on you, The sun is going to rise. Will you let it set?
Chorus: What are you waiting for? What are you looking for? When all is done what will you say...to break the day.
Verse 2: Come on out, take a breath of fresh air. So much time has flown on by. Since you've stepped out anywhere.
Bridge 2: Somewhere on your way, you'll find yourself in grace Something's got to break, just throw your pride away
Chorus: What are you waiting for? What are you looking for? When all is done what will you say...to break the day...to break the day...
7. FAR AWAY lyrics by Tristin Roberts and Andrew Goff Music by Tristin Roberts
Gone for so long Runnin' away Debating aloud in your mind how you've pursued your own ways All the mistakes
Yesterdays entries hoped for better days but lately facing your thoughts equates a slap in the face hard to erase
Been far away far away Hard to stay far away
Kept your room in place and honored your name hoping maybe one day forgiveness might lead to blameless embrace It is the final day
Been far away far away But I'm here to stay and I'm here to say hey

Alright, since we're taking so long to get tracks out to you we are posting random things like videos of us rambling on about the usual intelligent subjects (Chinese Food and Blues Clues) and of course the video displaying some truly incredible rock-star dance moves (you know you loved it). So this is Austin (guitar/keys) and I am usually the more reserved one in the band as you may have noticed. I depend on these great guys in the band to hold down the show most of the time while I am pedal dancing, switching amps, swapping guitars, and tweaking my guitar to sound like it's being broadcast from space. We are doing everything we can to make these songs sound huge even though they are home recordings.
In fact, we are recording most of these songs at my house where there is a detached room perfect for a small recording studio. Of course we share the space with my wife's and my camping equipment, old childhood photos, family heirlooms, and other assorted storage-space-worthy items. On the wall, I've posted some old vinyl records from the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, and of course U2 to offer inspiration from some of our heroes. These days it's cold in that room, but we don't really notice - we are creating.
It's great squeazing into this bedroom sized room as a band and recording for hours on end together, wrestling with how Tristin should sing a line of a song just right, making last minute phrasing changes to the lyrics, and dreaming we're like the Beatles as we try to write the perfect vocal harmonies like they always managed to do. William and I talk all the time about mic placement and whether we should try recording my guitar in a big church sanctuary, a gymnasium, a barn, or even next to the clawfoot tub in the bathroom of my house to get a different ambiance. Which amp, which guitar, which effect, what melody, what microphone, what keyboard, what room??? We love these questions as we create these demos for you to enjoy. Even after we have posted the songs on our myspace page, we have gone back to remix and even rewrite parts to hone these songs. We are creating these songs for you and we hope you enjoy them as we begin to release more songs in the near future and hopefully an EP of official tracks this spring. Until then, stay tuned to the updates and random postings from Eustace.
Love you all and have an amazing Christmas, Eustace
