I've been getting hit up a lot for collaborations, which I have to say no to for numerous reasons, the main one being that I got multiple projects already rolling that I have committed to. Another is that people expect handouts, like my time isn't worth money, it's almost an insult. People need to be more respectful when approaching other artists for collabs...yeah it's about the love, but lets face it; everybody has to eat! The last time I checked this was my career not my hobby. But the shady thing is, is that a lot of these cats are haters. (What ever happened to the love and good vibes that Hip Hop so selflessly gave to all who embraced Her? Better yet, when did these people get it twisted, and lose sight of the essense?) But now they realize what's brewing...and I now I'm starting to realize their motives and character behind the plastic smiles. You can't bullshit an emcee. And you can't be fake and think I won't know. I can read people from a mile away. But honestly, I love these haters, they flatter me and fuel my music, so thanks for your continued support. I started this journey a long time ago...by myself, and I never was a snake to anyone, nor slandered their efforts. Some people choose to hate because I won't collab, or because I don't feel their music, message, and/or character. Hate on. I refuse to give props to someone who doesn't deserve it, period. But if the message, motive, and man behind the music is positive, I only got love for them, and I wish them the best. But a lot of these cats in the industry are shady, fronting like they're positive or spiritual, but ultimately their path, cluttered with wolves, wanders astray...and years down the road they're empty shells of people, bitter and changed forever. The bottom line is, if you try to hold me back or damage my good name, you are a fool. You will be hurting your career, not mine. My music has been guided and blessed by God, from as far back as I can remember... countless events had to be executed perfectly for me to be in the position I am in right now, which is still a lowly position, and I humbly accept it, and give thanks. I am not a spiritual man! I'm far from it. But I am aware of the reality of the spiritual realm, and God has made a believer out of me by being faithful; amongst a lengthy list of scientific reasons.... also I 'd like to thank all the people that have rallied around me and were uplifting from the get-go...these are my people...and all the producers, promoters, and other people in the industry that embraced me...I will not forget your good-will .....let's do this. be easy -cast- "If you don't see my plan or my vision or lend a hand so we get it / Then you're the part of the plan that we're skipping" -wordsworth-

I AM TELLING YALL RIGHT NOW, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME SENDING ME MESSAGES FOR FREE GUEST 16's/24's......
IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN
..I'M NOT SPEAKING ON ANYONE IN PARTICULAR, AND I MEAN NO DISRESPECT TO ANYBODY WHO HAS SHOWN INTEREST OR HAS MESSAGED ME ABOUT VERSE GUEST SPOTS.. I APPRECIATE THE INTEREST.. ....
IF YOU ARE REALLY SERIOUS ABOUT MAKING SOME ISH HAPPEN, AND, YES, EXPECT TO PAY ME, THEN, PLEASE, FEEL FREE TO HIT ME UP IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND WE WILL TRY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.......
....
IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY THIS BLOG, THEN YOU ARE PROBABLY "THAT DUDE".... ....
1. Professionalism (Without coming across like a real jerk, I'm very busy, and can only align myself with projects that I either REALLY want to be a part of, or that will benefit me professionally and/or monetarily... that's just how it's got to be). ....
Don't ever bring that "do it for the love" talk to me... I'm an adult and music is my career... "the love" is there, don't worry about that, but it definitely isn't going to help pay my loans, rent, gas, or anything else. This is business. (This doesn't mean I'm charging ridiculous amounts for my time, but like I said, if it's not something I REALLY want to be a part of, it is going to cost you something).....
2. Like Illmind said... please don't try to be my friend first, thinking I will hook you up, letting you use me to forward your career... this is not going to happen. Don't mistake my kindness for weakness... I am a good judge of character and I'm very picky about who I work with.....
3. If I say I'm too busy, it means I'm too busy. Try not to let your ego burn a bridge (this is just good advice in general, not only when dealing with me). ....
4. If I'm not interested in working with you, I will let you know. Please try to be mature about it.
If all this makes sense to you, by all means, please hit me up... let's build.
You can reach me easiest through email at: brawdcast@yahoo.com....

T.I. - The King
www.myspace.com/trapmusik
..
Clifford "Tip" Harris better known as ....Atlanta.... rapper "TI" returns with "KING" his fourth major label full-length solo release, and third through his venture deal with Atlantic Records. Picking up where his previous effort left off, "KING" builds on the sound and success of 2004's "URBAN LEGEND." A blockbuster project that debuted at the top of the R&B/Hip Hop Chart and at ..7 on the Billboard 200. It spawned the RIAA platinum certified single "Bring Em Out" and the Grammy nominated "You Don't Know Me," registered over 3 million in ringtone sales and was certified to sell over 1.3 million in the US alone.
Since he burst into the scene in 2001 with his impressive solo debut, "I'M SERIOUS," TI has proven himself to be more than just a maker of hit records. Over the course of the years, TI continues to expand his already impressive business portfolio. Watch the trailor for T.I.'s new movie ATL here - www.atlthemovie.com
The movie hits theaters on March 31th!'
BRAWDCAST
www.myspace.com/brawdcast
Brawdcast enters. An artist who draws inspiration from great emcees like Common and Big L, and you can hear it in his cleverly crafted punchlines However, he ain't like the majority of battle emcees, who can't drop a single track. Brawdcast brings more to the table than just dope rhymes. He brings thought provoking, original concepts to each track that would make Maya Angelou bop her head. Brawdcast's concepts on tracks range from his relationship to God to straight rocking the microphone, all birthed from his unique upbringing. Brawdcast is from the 'burbs, and I know what you are thinking; because he is from the suburbs he won't have any appealing subject matter to drop. I guess it's a stigma you have to deal drugs to catch an ear or two, but Brawdcast's unique experiences give him subject matter and a well-rounded appeal.
His honesty and genuine spirit is clearly visible, he isn't afraid to soul search, and self reflect on a track for all to hear. His other alias is Brodie Baldwin, or 'Brodie The Lost Baldwin Brother'. This is the more 'worldly' side of Brawdcast's existance. Only a few years ago Brawdcast was an on-campus Christian Missionary, and at one point he felt led to serve in ..Alaska.., so he moved to ....Anchorage..... However, in the past couple years, Brawdcast has gone through some changes and succumbed to vices. But he refuses to deny his spiritual roots, remaining optimistic that he will not veer too far off course. Whether Brawdcast or Brodie, you know he is going to speak the truth, and that directly ties to the title of his upcoming debut, The Suburban Spokesman. He has recorded commercials for Russell Simmons's energy drink called Defcon 3.

Why did I name the Lp "The Suburban Spokesman"? .... ...To break stereo-types. It doesn't matter where you're from, Hip Hop is bigger than geographical location, and the real heads in the Hip Hop community are proud of that fact. They take pride and honor that music infiltrated all regions of the world. The culture contains countless intellectuals and fine artists. I believe a good majority of 'The great poets of yesterday', would be lyricists in the underground Hip Hop movement today; if alive. Lets face it, the music is inspirational to millions, especially the youth (the future). It gives back to humanity, it helps people get through life, and by listening to it you can become more socially concious and over-all informed. I could go on forever.....Hip Hop was my first love. Humbley, I just wanna make my small contribution and be out..My way of saying 'Thanks" to Hip Hop and giving back to the world in one shot, using my best gift God gave me. Blessings and Peace.
