Current mood:  nostalgic
This was partially written by my wonderful girlfriend, I have changed a couple of things to apply to me. But overall I agree with EVERY WORD..

Well, well, well. Isn't the internet a wonderful thing? It allows us to keep in touch with people from our past that we haven't seen in years, people that live too far away to see. It allows us to keep up on our favorite bands and buy cheap airline tickets. But with all the wonderfulness of Facebook, Myspace and Twitter, we've also developed a serious problem: people have begun to think that just because you CAN post your opinion for everyone to read that you SHOULD do so.

So, here I am, on my high horse, criticizing all you people for voicing your opinions when I'm doing the same right? Well I'm about to do something that most of the rest of those whiney, opinionated fucks don't do: give you a disclaimer. From this point on, you're going to read my straight up opinion. Please understand that this is my OPINION; this isn't a discussion. I don't care if you think I'm wrong. I don't want to read any posts on what an ignorant person I am. You can sit there and develop the most complex argument this world has ever known telling me all about how Michael Jackson was a horrible, talentless freak of a person, but that's the thing - I don't want to hear it. From this point forward if you disagree with me (which from the Twitters and Facebook status updates I've read lately, there will be many of you) either quit reading or keep your mouth shut.

First of all, I've been a fan of Michael Jackson's music since I was born. That isn't a figure of speech. Literally, since I could even remember, I worshiped his music. I had albums, movies, The little Triller video I was deathly afraid of, yet I couldnt stop watching. I would go around impersonating him, moonwalking and doing the leg kick. I remember one time at my moms high school reunion, I couldnt have been more than 10 yrs old, No one was dancing and for some reason I heard Billy Jean and went out there all by myself and broke it down for the WHOLE song. Once it was over all I heard was applause from people watching. I credit moments like that for the reason I got into entertainment. Michael Jackson was a huge reason I started doing music. So seeing all this bashing of a human being hurts me.

Like many other talented people, he was just a weird dude. I couldn't tell you if he was involved in the molestation of those children. I wasn't there and I don't know him personally. Neither do any of you. Yeah, it's weird that he had all that plastic surgery, but so did Joan Rivers. Are you guys all going to condemn her to hell when she dies just because you don't understand her either?

If he did or if he didn't have anything to do with those molestation charges, one thing is very clear to me. Many people in this world and even some of you reading this have people in your lives, your family and your past that have done shameful and horrible things. Michael Jackson was a human being. He was a son, father and brother to people who loved him. How would you feel if the death of your loved one prompted so much hatred and misunderstanding? I don't wish that pain or ignorance upon any of you but please realize that before you run your mouth, think about what you're saying and what it means. You never knew him. How dare you (especially you religious people) say such horrible things about someone you've never met? If Jackson did those horrible things, where ever he is at this hour, he is paying for them. Quit worrying so much about what he did wrong and focus on being a good person. Though I'm not a Christian person, I can't imagine "turning the other cheek", "loving thy neighbor", "we're all children under God" and "only God can judge our souls" meaning "I am glad he's dead and burning in hell". Call me crazy. Remember that old saying "people who live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones."

He was a man with many problems, physically and emotionally. No one in this world could ever understand him fully. Let him rest whether you appreciate the man he was or not.

I'm very saddened at the loss of such a music icon. He was our generation's Elvis. Even Elvis, the King, had his problems. Someday people will be able to look back on Michael Jackson's death just like we do with Elvis. We don't dwell on his drug addiction that caused his death, we acknowledge the impact he made on our lives. Even you lovely people rejoicing of Michael's current burning in hell have jammed out to Thriller or Bad at some point in your life... don't try to pretend you haven't.

And I'll just say it again, this is my opinion. If you want to fight with me about it, I don't care. Go call your ignorant, red neck friends and party over his death because I don't want to hear it. I think today is a sad day for American history.

Michael Jackson is true American Icon. I for one will truly miss him.

Thank You.

the most eclectic Mixtape of all-time!

thats right people, Myself and super producer / artist / hair stylist named P.D.A. have put our heads together to make a mixtape. not just ANY mixtape. But one that samples "The Beatles" exclusivly.

As I am in the process of recording my new album "Making Sense of Nonsense" (due out fall of 09) I am realizing more and more that my sound has turned into this kind of beatles meets hip-hop sound... musically that is. but seeing that my album wont be out for some time I wanted to give you guys some music to make sure you dont forget who I am. (since I havent put out new music in nearly a year)

Me and P.D.A. will begin production next monday (1/12), and hopefully release it by late Feb/early March. it will feature many remakes and sampled Beatles songs with our very own twists. And we might call on a few friends for some guest features, who knows ;)

first off I want to thank everyone who showed up Friday! It was AMAZING! there were more people than I had even hoped for..

We packed out our venue, people from K-Hits, Channel 8, and Tulsa World were there. And those are just just the people I caught a glimpse of on stage, tons of bands showed up to show support! big thanks to Hiphopatamus, P.D.A., My Solstice, Wendy Nichol, Bait, and EVERYONE who came out.. All of you!

DFEST overall was a blast, I caught P.D.A, Stars Go Dim, Bait, My Solstice, and a couple other locals sets! ALL WERE AMAZING! and not to mention a couple of the headliners... (dissapointed in Paramore, they were boring) The Roots had the most amazing guitar solo i have ever seen.. that dude was seriously incredible! I dont think people even understand how hard that was to do....

anyways! THANKS TO EVERYONE!! we have hella shows coming up that im really excited about! including CAINS FREAKING BALLROOM!!! its always been a dream of mine to play it.. and now I am.. main stage baby!
