Who has the time for Myspace anymore? Maybe when I am really bored I'll update it... it's been updated once in the last... 8 months. Ah well... everyone that is close I've been keeping in touch with, got alot going on now, finishing up school, taking lots of tests, getting ready to move on to the next adventure... this time without my car (or 3) but a new (old) truck, excited :)

And I get to do one of the best things there is.... work on the car :). Motor mount decided to split in half again.. I replaced this thing 2 years ago... its quite annoying to be driving a car you gotta really baby from a stop in Clearwater traffic... people get pissed behind me because I decided its best no to cut off an 18-wheeler with the enigne clanking around... No thanks, I'll take my time.... tho the last couple days my gas mileage has been alot better... perhaps I have been heavy on the throttle...

Transmission fluid and filter also get changed... again... I changed them about 8 months ago before I left for FL, but I gotta see whats going on with the tranny. I bought a new fuel filter just for the hell of it too.

Boring car stuff. Between work and school, well, it takes alot of my time, atleast this week I have some time off to catch up on things.

So this is the aftermath of my accident last night...

I gotta hand it to GM's quality tho. All the lights, including both headlights and the turn signals were still on... after 5mins and it was still setting in, I walked back to the car and shut the lights off. Both driver side headlights are infact still there, they were hanging by the wires so I tucked them behind the bumper. The grille broke off in 1 big solid piece... the fiberglass header panel is cracked doen the middle... the hood is bent both on the center bulge as well as the side, and the whole front end has shifted so the hood dosn't even latch, not even the secondary safety release.

This here is the intersection... I was in the turn lane that the Jetta is in, and just about where the Sundance is when we hit...

If you look infront of the ground, you'll still see some of the kitty litter stuff they put down... and thats where I was... some sort of fluid was leaking from the Caddy... dunno what it is, but it couldn't have been much as all the fluid levels check out ok.

Here she is:

Well, my pin striping job held up pretty good... Notice how the only real damage to the bumper is the lower point in the center and the license plate frame? as well as the dent on the left side... I thought that was odd sonsidering the extent of the damage. Still can't believe the radiator didn't leak, despite bring hit by the bracing and twisted.

The dent under the mirror was from the accident.. the damage on the leading edge was from me opening the door afterwords. There is another dent int he center of the door hard to see. I just noticed this while looking at the picture... above the drivers door it kinda looks like the roof is creased... I dunno though.. if it is then there is alot more going on then origanally.

Here you can see how much the bumper/front end shifted...

So it has been rather lame. Last weekend I started working on my car changing the standard speedometer (regular needle etc...) with a digital one. Well, long story short, lots of wiring and other fun stuff and it works, and is all back together, but I killed the Body Computer Module from what I guess is a short, or atleast I thought, because I picked up a new (used) BCM at the junkyard, and still the same problem... so tomorrow I check all the fuses (which I should have done before hand)

Then, because of the great OS that Windows XP is, my computer decided to delete a .dll file and not work... for the week. A week without the computer and not really able to drive your car.... not fun. I completly cleaned the whole apartment, yeah, I was that bored.... but still. Atleast I fixed the computer.

So this week went by super fast, since I pretty much slept all day after getting home from school. Tomorrow is Friday! Yes, weekend is here. Tomorrow is another day at the hanger... I am guessing that means about 2 hours of actual work and the rest of the time sitting and talking while watching the Coast Guard land their C-130's....like every other hanger day. Then I come back home and fix the Coupe, that'll be fun.

Ah well, nothing planned for the weekend, maybe drive around now that my car will be fixed... life is good :)

Yup, so the drive from NY- FL... for the 2nd time was great. I took my '79 DeVille down this time... gosh what an amazing car it is on the highway, its like a dream... it made th 1,400 miles go by so effortlessly, set the cruise control and point it in the direction I want to go. Yeah the 16mpg or so the whole way dwon was not too good, but when that is the only complaint on a nearly all origanal 28 year old car, I'd say I have it easy :).

So if ya see a classic Laramie Beidge 4 door Cadillac with New York tags driving around... you'll know who it is :).

Yeah, so this is from a Case tractor..... pretty much just as bad as "Make sure engine is not running before performing any work" in some aircraft maintenace manuals :) Ah yes.... what would we do without some people in this world....

yeah, so here are alot of corny or random videos to help pass time in case you are dying of boredom.... not that any of these will help any more, its still cool.

Boring driving video, sweet song.

First video I made....

video for contest... less then 5 seconds.

The next 7 videos are me racing the '93 Coupe at Lebannon Valley Dragway, my best time this day was 16.1s @85mph, but every one was about .3-.4s slower then normal.... before that my best time was 15.9s @85mph, so I think the car would have been faster. Either way, it is running alot better now, so she should be even faster :)
