Ok so as promised I put up pics of a variety of things I have been working on lately while still trying to conceal "the big surprize"  I have branched out into sculpting.  I'm still new at it, but I've been getting alot of practice in. 

Some of you may know, and some of you may not know, but Chris and I have been making custom horror action figures for a few years now.  If you don't know what that means- basically we buy a bunch of action figures, toys and GI Joes and such and we take them apart, cut drill, sand, hack and demolish them.  Then we take parts from various figures and parts along with whatever else we deem nesassary and frankenstein them together into something totally new.  We have made alot and even given a few to some of our idols ( we made an Ed Geiin for Kane Hodder from when he played him in "Ed Gein, The Butcher of Plainsfeild") And we have a custom Robert Englund one in the works from 2001 maniacs for him.  Pictures of those will hopefully be coming soon.  I have to take photos of alot of them still and I'm waiting because Very shortly ( I hope) I will be making a myspace page and another Deviantart page for them.

Part of what I've been doing is  amassing a supply because we are gearing up to start selling our stuff.  Chris does most of the customs- I do painting and fine details along with any sculptural elements that are needed.  He does the choosing and reassempling of parts and everything (for the most part). 

But now I will also be adding to our line with Hand-made, Hand painted jewlrey & accesories, dolls and marionettes.  Along with a very cool line of that surprize I've promised which is none of the above things listed.

But the pure over-eagerness of wanted to ruin the surprize is tearing at my insides!!  So I will hint at it-

If you are thinking of what  the original logo for the first Sevoured D3mon album was going to be you are on the right track.

So what is the next thing I will be working on?  I have alot of thoughts- even plans-  but I haven't decided for sure.  Like I said I need some more supplies and stuff.  I need to make a run for fabric, keyrings and varnish.  I think I may start one of my zombie dolls next... Lucy? Alice?  Dorthy?  Poe?  Which one?  I don't rightfully know yet.

Anyway Everything is not quite set up just yet, but didn't I tell you I was bsy and had lots of stuff in the works?  As soon as I get the websites up and running and get fully stocked on everything I need I will be starting sales.  I will klist how, when and where you can get them along with the general price ranges for things at that time. I will consider any and all comissions- prices negotionable or you can note me about things that are already complete if you are interested in them. Discounts for my friends. 


(like I said what I have posted here are the VERY first things I have EVER sculpted and I was still working out problems that arose during the process, so what has been featured as of now under the sneak peeks folder, my scuplting was not quite up to par yet.  So those are pretty much personal pieces since they were practice.)

*EDIT*  Okay it's going to be a little longer on the stuff I was gonna put up (big surprize huh?)  but this time it's not just because of my procrastination.  They are pretty much done I'm just missing a couple really crucial fininshing touches that I need the supplies for, and due to financial issues it'll be aprobably another week or so before we can find the stuff and get it.  Hopefully not too much longer than that.  But if they come out as planned it should be worth the wait :)  I hope it all works the way I want it to...Corss your fingers!

Anyway to hold you over on those awsome surprizes, I might post some other stuff I've been working on up here within the next day or so.  I do have a couple things pretty much done, some still mid-way and some not even started- (other than in my head)- waiting on some more supplies for that too.  But the gears have really been turning as of late and the hands have been somewhat cooperating.  I have actually done quite a bit of art lately-  I am proud of myself for sticking to my guns on this one.  * END EDIT*



Got some cool stuff I'm gonna be putting up on here soon.  It'll be a few more days for that, but I'm pretty excited about it.  I think some of you might really like it.  So stay tuned.

*edit- I fixed the color a little bit now. It looks better. I had to saturate it it and darken it ALOT. please go take a look and tell me what you think, I've worked really hard on this piece and still have some to do. Some nice feedback might help give me the motivation to finish it.

I've uploaded my contest entry eventhough it's not finished. It was giving me all kinds of problems uploading it because of how big it is and everything and I had to resize it and then change the format and everything.. ugh. I am just soooo frustrated. It's finally up but I had to change it to a JPEG and the colour is sooo off... it looks horrible. I haven't figured out how to remedy this problem yet. If any computer / art savvy people have any advice on this subject.. please let me know.

*sigh* I miss WoW. We had it up and running for only like a week and then the laptop broke again. It’s been like 2 weeks or so since then. That little bit of time was just enough to get me hooked again and now it’s gone. That game is pure crack I tell you. WITHDRAWL!!

And yes... i know how much of a nerd I am. shut up.

I am hard at work on my contest entry. I am down to about a month and a half left to complete it. My preliminary sketch is just about done, a little tweak here and there and it will be ready to upload and start the long process of painting it. I have so many awsome tricks and techniques, details and ideas waiting in the wings for me to apply to this thing, I can’t wait. I’m going to be trying out some really kool lighting and everything... I have high hopes for this one. Even my motivation is running high with all these great ideas I keep getting on how to improve ithis piece... I can’t keep up with them all! lol. Just figured I’d make that little update. I can’t wait to start painting this thing! I hope I can pull it off. Continue to wish me luck people, I’m going to need it. I’m going to be busting my butt for as long as it takes to get this picture done, detailed and deviated.

Well I've found another contest that I'm interested in doing. This time I found out about it early becuase it's being thrown by a girl on my watch list. She hosts contests often and she's a real professional, well respected artist and I've spectated some of her past contests. There's always really steep competition and some really nice prizes. Anyway, I don't expect to win, or even place, but I'm using this as more of an inspirational springboard with a slim slim chance of a glorious prize at the end. The topic is Gods, Goddesses, myths and mythological creatures, and I've got almost a full 2 months to crank out something awsome. It's deadline is on April 25th, and Chris and I together have already come up with a really kool concept. I asked Chris to have a heavy hand in the ideas for this one, because if it comes out any good I'm dedicating it to him. If I can execute this piece to even half the greatness it looks in my head, than it will be freakin sectacular. This is going to be a long, fun, incredabley difficult learning exerience of an adventure, and I must say... I'm looking pretty foreward to the challenge.
