The good people over at Natrix Natrix have re-issued my vinyl album from 1998..."Wood Eye". It's got a brand spankin' new,extremely limited edition,numbered cover,designed and handmade by my friend,artist Rhonda Turnbough.
Wood Eye is filled with tricks and treats.Psychedelic ramblings and acoustic dittys walk hand in hand through mine fields of sound effects and backward guitars.It really is a trippers nightmare! my son Bryan plays the lawnmower and there's even a Prince cover!
Rhonda also drew and printed up a limited number of T-shirts too!

A tiny little crack in a cemented wall found me today.
Light in the darkness.Fresh breath from scented Brookes.
A locked door was opened and for a few minutes it felt more like home inside me than it has in months.
So many options,but none seem right.So few options for light.
Babies? It's rainin' babies from the sky down on me.
I will no longer scream for ice cream.
I haven't the desire.I haven't even a cone.
If you filled ice cream cones with mashed potatoes you'd sell a lot more new cars,but a lot less ice cream.Mmmmmmm,more new cars.
Cramped into the front of my mind is the ability to persevere,the question of meaning and a stamp card filled(which will get you a free scoop) but none will suffice.
I must simply go for I have no other option.Nothing better.
Then I'll be gone.We'll all be gone.
They've leveled the casino I was raised in.
Sure hope that kid takes my olive branch.

This morning,this is how I felt.

I posted a subject and left it alone.Someone I'd like to know better caught on,always catches on,and now I don't feel so lost.

Someone I know very well sent me a message about being lost,and now I don't feel so lost.

The person I'm recording with said,"Let's do some more recording today." and now I don't feel so lost.

Some on-line flirting,some fresh fruit and vegetables,some plucking,and now I don't feel so lost.

Happiness is fresh on the tree everyday.I just have to remember to pick it.

Used to be's  don't  count anymore.They just lay on the floor till we sweep them away.I need a vacuum.

I really like pictures of crazy diamonds,N.M.H. lyrics and sassy pals who say just the right thing at just the right time.

I've currently taken a break from the Hoochie for President campaign to inform the masses about the impending doom. THE TEACAKE REVOLUTION IS COMING AND IF YOU'RE NOT WITH TUNNOCK'S YOU ARE SUNK! Tunnock's is the way! Please people, Jaffacakes? What the fuck?
Tunnock's Has the heart,soul and moxie that the coming Teacake revolution demands. I don't wanna be a bitch about this,all I'm trying to do is get my "friends" on board. Give me Tunnocks or give me death! Sweet,sweet death.

Howdy friends,
I'm in Seattle right now and I'm looking to play gigs!!!! I've just returned from The United Kingdom after 2 months of shows and touring With The Viking Moses! I'm staying with friends and doing some recording and have lots of new songs (written in Scotland ) that need to be played in front of people.

Holy crap dude,this shit rules. I'm getting on a plane in a few hours to go to Lisbon,Portugal. The U.K. tour is over and IT WAS GREAT! George Thomas and the Owls is awesome! Brendon and I drove around with George for a few weeks.We drove up and down and all over England and Scotland.So many new friends! I'll write more in a few days 'cause there's so much to talk about...A house party in Nottingham that started at 1:30 am,The Homegame (one of the best weekends of my life,fence records rules),an awesome coffeeshop in Glasgow,a great shop in Newcastle called Belle & Herbs,I could go on all night but I've got to sleep right now.I promise friends,I'll give you more stories in a few days.A big Huge THANK YOU to Molly & Sophia for all the booking help.Also my friends, I've got new friends in Glasgow who want to put out a record for me,go-ra-ga is my new Scotish D.I.Y. record label! I also have to thank Lora and Kevin in Seattle.That's where Viking Moses and I recorded our new duet.What a pro Kevin is, a real studio wizard.That's Kevin on pedal steel,it makes the song that much better.I highly recommend his studio! My friend Lora makes the best tofu scramble on earth!What fluffy cats they have.Just a whole lotta love.
