Hey Everyone -
So last night we sent an eblast out to our email list and mentioned that for the month of October, Carbon Leaf would be giving away the track "Pink" as a free digital download.
However due to a glitch in the Vanguard Records page, fans that signed up to receive the song were getting error messages when they tried to download it.
HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS: We have worked hard with Vanguard Records and they have fixed the glitch!
To all those who have signed up for the song:
Vanguard Records will be sending you an email explaining the situation and providing you with a direct download link for the song.
So be expecting an email from Vanguard Records...
For those of you who have not yet signed up for the song:

I should have known better than to assume a little rain might dissuade the students at W&M from coming out to their beautiful Lake Matoaka Amphitheatre for our show Friday night.
During Sleeper Star's set (great band, nice guys), the deluge began. And it was Real rain. I mean, " I'm going to Rain on you now" kind of rain. So i started making the set list, last minute, in anticipation of a mass exodus from the great crowd that was out there. Stack the top of the set with a lot of energy songs, before everyone gets washed away.
Nope. Everyone stayed, and I was reminded that we were in the woods, on a lake, on a college campus in the musty, hot august rain of a back-to-school rock concert with a few thousand of your friends...why WOULD you leave? This is the good stuff, and it made for a great show. The air was thick, everyone looked like a drowned rat, and the air smelled like....do you know smell as you enter the cave for the Loch Ness Monster roller coaster at Busch Gardens? That's what it smelled like. Dark, wet n musty on Lake Matoaka.
I wish we could have filmed it. Luckily, Olivia Salyer from W&M caught some pix, so here's a few. More pix are at her flickr account. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ucab_wm/page2/
Thanks to everyone for coming out, and to AMP for all the help in keeping things rolling during the deluge...

On the way back from the last tour, Bu was driving us from Portland, ME and snapped an early morning picture of a graffitied tour bus passing the Leafmobile. Turns out it was the Jonas Brothers, though Bu couldn't tell which brother was driving..Nick? Finneous? Silas? we'll never know.....

Well that's the end of the line, for a few weeks anyway. We're
currently heading home from Portland, ME, the last stop on our 9 week
tour.
What a great trip and fun time we had with the Alternate Routes and
Trevor Hall. Great shows and nice to see folks coming out. THANKS TO
EVERYONE THAT CAME OUT AND MADE THE TRIP A SUCCESS!!! Please continue to spread the word and tell people about NRWW. Speaking of....
The FALL TOUR is already booked and tickets are on sale! This time
around, we're doing a Co-Headlining tour with Stephen Kellogg & The
Sixers. The guys came to our NYC show back in May and we got to talking
about a joint party, so there ya go! Get your tickets early, it's going
to be a blast.
Things got pretty intense on the last 10 days of the tour, so i didn't
take many pix (but we still have TONS of video to develop, so be on the
lookout for some more movies.....) but here's the last of them.

I met a fan of ours named Rob at Red Rocks a couple of weeks ago and while we were chatting after the show he had a great idea. Rob mentioned that Jimmy Fallon told his audience to Tweet him if there were any bands that they wanted to see on Late Night.... Rob and I decided that we should launch a Twitter campaign to see if we can get Carbon Leaf on the show.
So, send some Tweets @jimmyfallon and @LateNightJimmy to see what we can make happen… it beats working! http://twitter.com/jimmyfallon http://twitter.com/LateNightJimmy
Thanks, Terry / Carbon Leaf
PS - Please spread the word....
PPS – if you haven’t signed up already, follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/carbonleaf and if you’re really, really bored you can follow me at http://twitter.com/terry__clark

So, as most of you know, I’m still somewhat new to the band (can’t
believe it’s been almost 2 years!). As we travel across this beautiful
country it’s really awesome to see how dedicated Carbon Leaf fans
really are. It’s a real treat to be in a band that draws a good crowd
at pretty much every stop! I’ve been performing in bar bands for the
last 12 years or so and it definitely takes its toll. Having to try and
entertain a group of people that could care less about you much less
your music is a tough road (but I’m not saying it isn’t FUN because it
is…just hard). Basically, this is just a thank you note to all of the
fans for the support and for accepting the change in members…and to the
band for allowing me to be part of this great team! Keep supporting
live music! Whether it’s your favorite cover band or original band!
