S.E have featured in a couple of Top 10 Liverpool-ish lists lately:

In the run up to this week's Sound City festival, Liverpool Daily Post's music blog has us as one of the bands to go see, writing this:

We'll be on this Thursday, around 8.30pm... Neon's possible, leather stands a chance, but back-street debauchery's at a price, so come loaded.

Meanwhile, Gibson's website lists us as part of a Liverpool "Cool Scene Alert"! And though we appreciate the write-up immensely, the complimentary guitars we presumed came as part of this sort of thing seem lost in the post... Tsk- sort it, Gibson!

If we had a Gibson other than the ES-335 it might get played too, guys! Just a hint, just a hint...
*winks* - Anyway, good on 'em! Of course, we do have a live drummer now, but I think they posted this article ages back and we've only just noticed. Which kind of suits what they go on to say:

Ah, yes- the Stephen Morris recording! Not really spoken about that on here yet... Next time, though! We've gotta get back to our own world now... heh heh.

Love,

S.E

ps: Yes, the album's still being mixed. Will now be finished next week. No, honestly... I know I said 99.9% likely last time, so this time it's 99.999%.... x

Excitingly, we have spent the last few weeks ensconced in a snug studio in the middle of Derbyshire working the final recordings for the album. Nearly finished now! Whoop!

In the meantime, Chris found time to pop in to see Dave Monks at BBC Radio Merseyside, to update him on the latest Sex Education news and pick a couple of favourite tracks. Have a listen here:

We're currently finalising some summer gigs so check back for more details! Look forward to seeing you all soon!

You know what?! I can’t believe this is the first S.E blog post!

That should change from now on, though- we’ve some good stuff coming up which we hope you’ll be really into…

Most importantly, we’ll have our album finished this March- no, really!* Ten tracks, including the ones you’ll find on this site.

Plus there's a very special guest on one of the tracks! Although some of you probably know about that already… (yes, we can be hopeless at keeping our own secrets…). More on that next time, along with a few other stories from the making of our album (for instance, did I tell you about when I was detained on international terrorism charges when getting the train down to a recording sesh? Maybe next time... Bet that never happens to bloody Bono... Ooh, how we’ve suffered to bring you this, huh, kids...?!)

Still not sure on an album title yet, though… Had thought of calling it ‘Homework’ for half a minute… y’know, what with the band name, and the hope that you’ll all be feverishly devouring it wherever you live sometime soon… Then remembered that Daft Punk already nabbed that, damn their elegant robotic frames, so have been left idly pondering what to call it ever since. Any ideas, friends? It can’t just be called ‘Sex Education’… can it?! Send all suggestions here, and receive our lifelong adoration if we use one!

We’ve also got a rather fab website in construction, which’ll offer much more S.E than we can shove around ThisSpace - look out for that!

In the meantime, here’s a couple of things written about us online:
