Hi everyone,
We recently had shows go down both here in Boston and way down in NYC. Much thanks to all involved . . . it was fantastic to travel to NYC and feel like we were playing at home (Dan's Sister is pretty much the reason for this - big shout out). But some of our good friends also made the trip down and that support truly means a lot to us. As always, the Boston shows have been uber crazy and tons of fun.
As far as the album is concerned - we are aiming for a June release date and a tour of California to follow soon after. We have also compiled 3 releases into one Super Release of all our previously recorded material. If you missed out on getting a copy of 1)Demonstrations 2007 2)Friends On Drugs or 3)The Yellow EP all of these are available on one disc for about $5 or whatever you feel like giving us at the moment.
That is all. Stay in touch and remember we love you.
ps - Check out the group Forrest Day before they get to big to handle.

Category: Music
We've posted two new recordings, from diferent sessions, but in the same ideology.
The first (I Can't Stand) is from "Friends on Drugs," a solo EP, released by Daniel in June of 2007. The six songs were written, recorded, mixed, and released within a 24 hour period by Dan himself. Every track was done in one take with no edits.
The second (Lots To Learn) was recorded by Daniel, Haggai (bass), and Mike (drums). To be known as the "Seelig Sesssions", this was recorded with all 3 musicians in the same room playing live, with a few minimal overdubs. This music was recorded and mixed by Scott Seelig.
Hope you enjoy the tunes - recording has begun and we hope to have the new album done by early fall. with love - The Collective

Hi everyone, We just returned from an amazing 18 day mini-tour of the northern california area. As a unit we got as far north as Nevada City (and got to see the beautiful Yuba River) and as far south as Santa Cruz - all from our homebase of Dan's parents house in Lafayette. A big shout out must be given to John Sankey of Spanking Noise Productions, Barbara and Steve Wright, Ethan Glazer, Harry from Harry and the Hitmen, Forrest Day, and everyone who bought me a beer - without these people we would have sat on our asses all day eating pancakes. All in all the tour was a sucess as none of us died and we had enough money to catch a taxi from Logan Airport upon arriving back in Boston. On a personal note I must thank the waitress in Nevada City who introduced me to a mind blowing shot called the "Gold Digging Dirty Nazi" - it contained jager, goldschlager, and some 100 proof clear booze. Recreations of said drink have already failed, but I vow to get it right.
To all of our new friends in the San Francisco area: we will be back soon. Thanks for all the love and support.
- Patrick
