So, I added the
Happy Flickr application this morning--it still makes me laugh that MySpace is going to way of Facebook, and that endless, useless apps were totally the downfall of Facebook, but I digress. I added the app, because I like Flickr. Maybe this way I won't have to be so on top of keeping my modeling pics in MySpace as updated as Flickr.
So to set it up, all you have to do is enter your Flickr ID. That's it... no password, no confirmation via Flickr, nothing. And I realized, I could set this up to show *anyones* Flickr account. Since there's no sort of security measures to make sure you're only displaying *your own* photostream, anyone can be displaying mine too. That's... kinda weird. Seriously.
Another annoyance? I can't see any way to move where the darn app appears. Maybe it's because I've customized the CSS of my profile and that fucks up MySpaces dynamic site editing, as the app does have these little up and down arrows... they just don't do anything when I click them.
My last annoyance (and yes, I promise it's the last!) is that you can't actually customize the display at all. It automatically displays the most recent 36 photos uploaded; I can't tell it to show less? Not 12 or 24 or some other multiple of 3? I can't randomize it? Well that's kind of lame.
On the up side, I've realized how few photos I've uploaded since New Years. And knowing is half the hassle. ;)
