     Visit this site to find out if products you use conduct testing on animals. The way animals are treated for experimentation is VERY inhumane. Animals are in very uncomfortable wire cages all day long… The "lucky" ones at least. Some are tied down in restraining chairs where it is impossible for them to move at all! In both situations the animals begin to go insane. The ones who are in the cages run in circles, beat their heads against the walls of the cage, pull their hair out, some bite themselves to the bone… some even bite entire limbs off of themselves….. it, unfortunately, goes on and on. Keep in mind this is just where they live in the lab when they aren't being experimented on.

     Lab workers handle these animals VERY harshly and are taught to treat them as machines and not living beings with feelings. They scream at the animals, punch them, choke them…again it goes on and on. To test for medications they have tubes shoved down their noses and throats. To test for products such as cosmetics animals skin will be burned, infected, sliced opened… And NOTHING is given to them for pain.

     Animals are forced to wear masks so that they inhale smoke… Even though the results have already been proven this is STILL being tested on animals and they are suffering for NO REASON! Pregnant animals are forced to drink alcohol, have drugs injected into them, and smoke just to show that these things cause birth defects… which we ALREADY know… but it is STILL being conducted on animals.

     Animals systems are NOT like ours so these test REALLY ARE USELESS to us!!! Please do not be are part of this and research the products you use to make sure they do not experiment on animals. If there is a product that you must have that does experiment on animals then another option is to write the company and ask them to please STOP.
