Just playing! I know two people who have the same birthday as me though, it was fun because we all turned 18 on the same day 2 years ago but now we're all getting old.
I don't want anything for my birthday except maybe a haircut or a job still. I must be procrastinating because I still don't have a haircut and the hair girl "Amber" never returned my voicemail so I'm guessing she isn't that desperate for business. I will probably got to Fantastic Sam's or some crap place where they will make me look like a woman again. Assholes.
I just woke up though, and yeah.. It's freezing dawgs! My dog fell off the bed last night apparently but when I woke up he was back on the other side all curled up in a ball because my room is like 60 degrees.
I really need to motivate myself as well to just eat less, exercise more and be more confident.
I need to get drunk again as well, It felt like a much needed vacation.
Other Quickies
My thoughts on the election are basically: I'm glad Obama won mostly due to the fact that he's African American. I feel like he knows he's being analyzed and people are going to judge him based on that. Even if he is just half or a quarter it makes a whole lot of difference. 100 years ago you would of never considered any sort of ethnicity in the whitehouse other than whites so I feel like it's a good step forward. His views on the war? Bring our troops home. His views on life? Pro-Choice I think which is good as well.
I honestly would of been satisfied with McCain since they both agree on major issues but hopefully once we bring the troops home our economy gets more stable. Wars drain alot of the nation's funding all the way out there plus we don't need to be ruining their culture with war, I understand there's some bad guys and extremists but I hope they can come to an understanding. Maybe they'll even respect the "Western World" a little bit since Obama is the Prez?
Propositions too, I'm glad Prop 2 passed at least.. Prop 8 passed as well though, I love how people were so crazy to encourage people to vote against it and since it passed they're just like "oh well"... I mean they must really not care very much to begin with if they don't show any motivation after the law passes.. I know my mom voted Yes on it, and it's understandable actually. Prop 8 wasn't actually a discriminitory law because I think if it was they'd try to make domestic partnerships illegal as well.. In 2000 California voted against Gay Marriage as well, so all in all it's sort of expected that it would pass. I wish there was something more to do about it because I think all humans deserve to have a celebration of love in one way or another and a domestic partnership just takes care of the legal paperwork - it doesn't have the same jingle as a wedding does.
Then again, think about it. A wedding has a bride, a groom, brides maids and best men. That's simply how a traditional wedding is.
I do think they gays have the absolute right just like everyone else to get married with eachother but maybe they can find an alernative? I don't know, just trying to make sense of what other people are thinking. This is why I hate making my mind up because I usually understand both points of views.
