Hi everyone,

I just wanted to give you an update on what we've been up to and have planned since we're not playing out again until late November (which should be an amazing show; please come!).

Since our last show, we rehearsed a few songs to tighten 'em up for a few weeks and then spent this past weekend at Ramble Creek Studios with Britton Beisenherz as our engineer. You might know him from his work with Monahans/Milton Mapes and/or Doug Burr. He's great to work with and knows what he's doing; we're getting some fantastic sounds tracked and are really excited about how it's going.

Next month we're going to do some more tracking on a couple more songs and add some finishing touches to what we did last weekend. Hopefully we'll have an EP out in early 2009, but may release a single before that.

Other things in the works for this fall are a website revision and T-Shirts... I'll keep you posted!

Hopefully we'll see you on November 20th to help celebrate San Saba County's CD Release at the Continental Club. Mark your calendar! And for those of you who plan WAY in advance, mark March 19th for a daytime SXSW showcase at the Long Center for the performing arts. It's going to be killer.

Thanks for all your support, and keep spreading the word!

Hi everyone,

We just posted a new song on the player. It was recorded at our practice last week so it's pretty lo-fi, but you can get the idea of what we will sound like live. We're excited to hear things coming together.

Also, we started doing some "real" recording last weekend, and hope to post another new song (in higher fidelity) in the next week or so, so please check back for that.

And finally, we're psyched about our upcoming show with Mice and Rifles on March 7th. Please make plans to come see us on our debut!

Thanks for reading and listening!
