Current mood: anxious
Writing by Charles Bukowski in its entirety:
often it is the only thing between you and impossibility. no drink, no woman's love, no wealth can match it. nothing can save you except writing. it keeps the walls from failing. the hordes from closing in. it blasts the darkness. writing is the ultimate psychiatrist, the kindliest god of all the gods. writing stalks death. it knows no quit. and writing laughs at itself, at pain. it is the last expectation, the last explanation. that's what it is.writing

worth checking out if you've got the time,Shows how international lending, structural adjustment policies and free trade affect the day-to-day realities of the people whose lives they impact. Focusing on the lives of ordinary workers & farmers on the island of Jamaica, this film contends that free-trade is of greatest benefit to the rich.
cheers

Current mood: accomplished
To be honest i didn't think we'd get there...
Somehow through all the late nights, tears and long drinking sessions we finally pulled 12 tracks together.
The madness is on us for real
Right now i'm not even sure how it sounds, I've heard every song at least 1000 times and all i can say is they seem to be a chopped up messed up abstract fantasy of the sideways reality we are hurtling ourselves through daily. from the darkest depth of our minds to the flittering butterfly style good times... it's all there
So now all that's left is to enjoy the summer and i intend to use every bit of these fine days in complete frivolity... cheers to all we've been hangin with up and down the coast so far this summer .
I've got my guitar a few new songs and a full belly, that'll do for now Love ya work i'm headin to the pub
come see us play soon hey

what's up?
man we been workin hard....
cruisin from gig to gig generally with out sleep and slightly sideways (we seem to perform better this way...)
Every gig of late's been a highlight, special thanks to all that were at the New Town fest- pretty damn big crowd for us, felt a bit like a rock star... ha
One of the perks of this Job would have to be visiting all the quaint little towns and chracters of Aus- First time in Yamba the other week and one of the biggest weekends for too long- Haven't seen Shannon that sideways before and enjoyed every minute of it-cheers Yamba great gig great town...
Few set backs on the new Cd front.we had one hard drive fail, i managed to drop another and finally spilt wine on my mac book, all in the peroid of about a week. Clumsy fucker i am- we lost some of our favorite tunes. No point crying over spilt milk i guess. Still aiming to have it done by woodford fest...
anyway, i'll stop ramblin on
cheers!
