I entered one of the flower photographs into a competition about 'red' things over at fujifilm.co.uk. As it's a members only thing I can't hotlink to it so I'll post any (if) results here. There are some interesting photos being submitted so it's a shame that it's a members only club - a bit like the mile high club; you don't get in unless you've been up, so to speak

Ooo, also got accused of theft! Which is kind of funny as I'm going to do an article on photographic composition using the original image!

Took some new photos today, which I'm really pleased with so I'll have those on the site asap, was kind of surprised at how tired my little leggies were from cycling; must needs to get fitter!

Given how 'stupid' craneflies are when they fly around generally, I find it difficult to believe that they can enter a house through an open window that's open only and inch or two. No. There's something else going on here, they must have some special ability or, they're clever when they're young - clever enough to get *in* to a room, and stupid when they're old - not clever enough to get *out*. They only live for a day so that some fast growing up being done in a 24 hour period! I mean what sort of life experience are they handing on in that short time span [discuss the merits of 'nature' vs 'nurture' as applied to a cranefly].

I hate them.. and they're coming.....

Just added some photos to the gallery and added one to my profile section. Although digital camera photos have some 'artifacts' - they can be worked around - but the thing that gets me is just how much money the photos I've already taken would have cost on normal 35mm film stock, it makes me shudder in fact, and the thing is, I used to do that and it cost a fortune so I had to stop doing it!
