Have many of you listened to the lyrics of Brenda's chosen song, Dirty Genes?  They are amazing lyrics.  I ask you to go on her myspace page. Once the song begins, close your eyes and feel the melody and listen to every word being sung. I know, I sound weird, but if you try it, you can feel Brenda's emotions and why she chose that particular song.  I relate music to every emotion  and to what mood  I may be experiencing at that moment. It is therapeutic.  MUSIC establishes bonds between human beings. Miss you Brenda!!

I had the pleasure to visit Trevor and Jarrett last night at Lisa Farnham's home in Crystal Lake, Il.  Their visit to Arlington Heights, Illinois is fun and fulfilled everyday and it is snowing today so I am sure they both are excited to the gills!
I hugged them both so tight and did not want to let go. We played and had kid conversation and Trevor tried to beat me up and I let him believe he did (haha), but he did not have a chance.  My visit with them put the icing on the cupcakes for me this holiday.  I love them!  I miss them!

Fly
Fly, fly little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again....

Fly, fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Cross over to the other shore
There is peace forevermore
But hold this mem'ry bittersweet
Until we meet

Fly, fly do not fear
Don't waste a breath, don't shed a tear
Your heart is pure, your soul is free
Be on your way, don't wait for me
Above the universe you"ll climb
On beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set
But I won't forget

Fly, fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right
Go now, find the light

We Love You, Brenda

Last year around Christmas time this memorable photo of Brenda and her family was taken at the Donato house. Daddy Jim just put the tree up and Trevor and Jarrett were ,oh, sooooooo excited.  Well, they weren't as excited until Daddy Jim went outdoors to christen the front yard with the " Holiday Cheer Decor" that was seen around the block and through the woods (not really), but Brenda thought that.
However, this year (2006), Brenda was over joyed to be with her family and she felt incredibley awesome!  She was shopping on Overstock.com and enjoyed every moment of it.  She "lived in the moment."  So, this year, when everyone starts putting up all the holiday decor and spreading the holiday cheer, remember, Brenda will always be near!

New Blogs Coming Soon...

I'm going to be featuring people inspired by Brenda. We all have a story.

Basically I want to share with this community how knowing, loving and missing Brenda has changed your life, where you draw strength, etc.

If you or you know someone* who would like to be featured send me an e-mail and I'll ask  a bunch of moderately personal questions and together we can share how you are

Thank you,
Miah

Dear Friends,

An audio of Brenda's Life Celebration can be heard at http://www.buddhistchaplainsnetwork.org/BrendaD.htm

The memorial was held on April 19, 2007 at Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek, California.  It was a beautiful tribute to Brenda.
