I don't know if it's because Devendra Banhart is now my myspace friend, or because of the moustache in my profile picture, but tonight I came home to ten myspace friend requests. They were all from indie-rock musicians, and the stuff I heard wasn't bad, so I added all but one (but they really weren't my style). I don't really like unsolicited friend requests, but I have to give it up to myspace for providing a way for indie bands and musicians to get their music into the hands of the people who might like their stuff and might otherwise never hear of them. Also, mad props to the bands who utilize the myspace tool.

I like to think it's the moustache, though, and not as simple as p.r. I'm wondering if I should tell my new friends if it's fake. I really don't want to loose respect of people I might never get the chance to meet.

Cat Steven's added me as a friend PLUS a new season of Beauty and the Geek started today! I can tell that 2007 is going to be a great year.

Anyone who knows me well knows that The Cosby Show is my favorite TV show. I even Tivo it. The first season is some of the best. I'm spending a day on the couch since my knee hurts, and I'm catching up on the Tivoed episodes, watching the one where Rudy's goldfish, Lamont, dies. Oh, those Huxtable kids! I'm thinking of starting a daily Cosby Show trivia question. Or, maybe just a quiz. Something for the new year, perhaps.

How f*@&#%g great is Melanie Griffith in "Cecil B. Demented". I'm surprised I haven't watched this movie sooner.

That the dwarf in The Station Agent is in every scene. I thought this movie would be better. I also remebered why I don't like musicals when I watched The Producers this weekend.

Why are there about 5 people a day from the UK inviting me to be their friend? Am I suddenly famous over there, and I don't know about it, and I'm easily acessable because I don't know about my fame? Did Jude Law say something about our past relationship in the Sun? What gives?
