I have SO many mixed emotions about this... Romeo Exits Z100, Billy The ..Kidd.. heads to New York City....

WHTZ (Z100)/New York MD/Night Host Romeo exits the Clear Channel Top 40 while sister Top 40 KHKS (KISS 106.1)/....Dallas.... APD/MD/night host Billy The ..Kidd.. is headed to the Big Apple to host nights in radio’s top market.

Clear Channel SVP/Programming Tom Poleman said, "(Z100 & WKQI PD) Sharon (Dastur) and I have the bittersweet job of announcing that, after 7 years of dominating the airwaves in New York, Romeo has decided to take on a new challenge. He tells us he'll be making a formal announcement of where he's going next week. In the meantime, he'll continue on-air through mid February. We're happy to watch him grow, but sad to see him leave.”

Poleman adds, "Romeo came to Z to take on nights in 2002. In a short time, he added the Assistant Music Director responsibilities and eventually became our full on Music Director. It's hard to properly express in writing what Romeo has meant to us. Not only is he a great jock and a brilliant music director, he's also an amazing person. We have no doubt that he'll excel in everything he touches."

"Simultaneously we're excited to share that we've already selected a top notch replacement. Beginning February 23rd, Billy The ..Kidd.. from our sister station KHKS in ....Dallas.... will become Z100's new evening personality.  He's an incredible talent and we know ....New York.... will love him!"

..Kidd.. is more than pumped about his new opportunity telling ..FMQB.. he’s happy that he will remain on-the-air in ....Dallas.... where he's been dominating nights on KHKS for the past 5 years.

She is obviously talented. Unique. She is a genuine person. Also, the very few times I have had the chance to talk to her... is REAL!!!! And, not to mention shes HOT (AND, she is single now! woo hoo).

A long time ago we hung out and she played me her song ("I Kissed A Girl") in our conference room at Kiss. We were like, wow IT'S AWESOME- were gonna play it TONIGHT! She got so excited! Then, I JUST found this.... I never knew that it was the first TIME SHE EVER heard her song on the radio. It was KISS. I thought that was cool. She was doing a video blog while it was playing.  :)

So I did a remix of Kevin Rudolf's "Let It Rock" with a verse about the Cowboys... well.... the Cheerleaders danced to it at the Thanksgiving day game. Sweeeeet. My verse starts at about the 2 minute mark, but I would say watch the whole video because the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have THE NICEST ....... choreography! DUH. What did you think I was gonnna say! ;)

FTSK- Forever The Sickest Kids: I have been working with these guys for awhile now and when they are constantly gone on tour I realize I miss these nOObz. They are fresh. Period.

+I just had a girl call up the request line and ask to giver her "Baby Daddy" a shout out AND she was 16. All I can say is wow.

+Do girls really NOT wash their bras? Gross.

+ Why do people in Texas drink Tuaca, how did that start?? I just wonder. They dont drink that anywhere else!

+ I want a TV show and I'm actually going to make it happen, one way or the other. I know this idea would work. Just watch!!!!

+ I have almost lived in Dallas for 9 YEARS now, thats crazy.

+ I like the smell of those cinnamon almonds when you walk in the mall around this time of year. If X Mas had a smell, that would be it.

+ I just got a new car I love it, but have you seen the Jeep Unlimited's? Love that thing!

+ I feel stupid when I see "Celebrity DJ - Billy The Kidd!" on fliers for clubs I DJ at. I just play music, I'm not a celebrity.
