Alright everybody, just wanted to let you all know that I hope you guys have an awesome holiday season. I am really glad to find time for posting more blogs here on MySpace now that my Fall 2007 Quarter is coming to a halt and finals are around the corner along with winter recess. Anyway, just curious. I wonder why there are people falling in line at 4 in the morning outside of stores on the day after Thanksgiving? Like seriously, my friend who works at Circuit City said when he went to work that morning, he saw people with tents outside. I also saw the samething on the news.

Hey, I know this is an awesome and phenominal time of the year. I love it, family and friends, dressing up for occasions, for those of us who are Roman Catholic then you have Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, and overall it is a time to reflect on the people we have in our lives and be grateful for what we have that others who are less fortunate than us do not have. However, standing outside of a store camping out just to be one of the first to get a bargain on Black Friday is just strange. I mean, no offense to any of you guys if you did this. It's just, why would you go shopping for something that will be just as cheap not so long after Black Friday? Better yet, if you don't like what you got on Christmas then you can get deals just as excelent the day after Christmas.

I never really knew how crazy people get on holiday shopping. Then my mom tells me that one Christmas Shopping season, a woman died fighting for a Cabbage Patch Doll. Pardon me for being absent, I just never really knew about these things. Well, know that I know I just want to say one thing "Yikes!". Anyway, with that said. I just hope you guys all have a great and safe holiday season. Take care, peace.

For those of you who do not know, Lorretta's myspace is a tribute to the military service of our international communities. It's a great site and helps those of you who are pro-mission in the international community's effort to win the global war on terror(Yes, its am international commitment both big and small) find ways to adopt troopers from your country and other countries. Just look at the links she has on her profile and you'll be able to spot some because you just can't miss them(they say adopt a soldier). Anyway, I plan to contact Uncle Jimbo of BlackFive sometime soon so I could see if he could help me find the addresses where you could send support, encouragement, and letters to soldiers of different nations including Australia, Great Britain, and Canada. The boys at BlackFive posted the addresses sometime ago, maybe a little bit longer. However, it was truly a great post and one my favorite at BlackFive military blogsite of all time. As some of you may already know that when you send these kinds of accolades, and support to those serving in harms way, the morale of troops sky rocket through the roofs, and that's really important right now since there are wars, and many men in military service are far from their families and friends. They are also not getting the credit and appreciation they deserve, and their accomplishments are being undermined. Which makes it truly difficult to hold your head up high as a citizen serving in uniform. Although I do know that there is plenty of great people out there helping like Lorretta, so I know that Australia's military isn't being undermined, and I have loved ones in Alberta, Canada who are pretty active in supporting the Canadian military, and Terri and Sue are doing a great job of showing love to the U.S. military by taking part in sending goods to soldiers and helping do their part in other things. I do my part in helping as often as possible by participating in setting up welcome home parties for those active in the military. So all troops are getting some form of thank you's for their hard work, which leaves the nation of Great Britain, from what I remember when I read Uncle Jimbo's blog he was contacted by the father of a British soldier serving his econd tour in Iraq and is volunteering for another. The father of the British soldier said that people in Britain aren't sending care packages and that people don't support them the way the American military is receiving abundant amounts of support. The American troops recieve several gifts, and the British troops don't recieve anything at all. I couldn't believe what I was reading, so I went researching for evidence. I couldn't find a single website or organization on the world internet that's dedicated to showing love, and support to British soldiers deployed on active duty. So when I get the chance to contact Uncle Jimbo, and he gets me those addresses, I'll post them here for all my frineds to see. Hope that helps you and your son in your cause, Lorretta! I'll try to do my part as best as I can, and maybe I can get a soldier from a foreign nation smiling and boost up their morale like the troops of the U.S. are getting everyday.

*UPDATE- I was able to find a Canadian and 2 British addresses, so if you want to send troop support to a foreign military soldier or just spread some cheer, here it is!
