Tune in to FSN this week starting tonight, Monday the 16th for the Best Damn Sports Show. I'll be sitting in with the guys as a cohost and judging the 2007 Hooters International Swimsuit pageant. Even the 118 degree weather didn't stop us from mixin' it up poolside with Pam Anderson, Penn and Teller, Pat Croce and more fabulous celebrities. I even found the courage to venture out in a swimsuit for the taping:-)

I had so much fun on set of The Best Damn Sports Show. It actually airs tonight on FSN. There's even a glimpse of a few vintage shots of me as an Atlanta Falcon cheerleader. Whoa...that was a few billion years ago. Tune in and support the BDSS guys, I love em!

Last week I was fortunate enough to be able to visit some of our finest men and women on board the USS WASP. For 3 days at sea MMA legend Pat Miletich, Up and coming MMA star Ben "Northstar" Rothwell, our tireless camera crew and myself were welcomed to join the Navy's world. Surprisingly, the food was decent (although chow time was quite early), they served Starbucks (the way to my heart) and their gym was incredibly current and stacked...with great looking MARINES. All joking aside, it was an honor and an experience I'll hold close to my heart. Wether or not you agree with the political topics at large, these young adults have extended their young lives and passion for their country for our daily luxuries and freedom. Please support our troops in any way (big or small) you can. Thank you to our friends at the USO and our gracious hosts on board the USS WASP for this amazing opportunity. You'll be able to witness our trip on IFL Battleground in the near future.

Just sending love and well wishes out to Rachel Smith (former Miss TN) and as of 2 hours ago...the newly crowned Miss USA 2007! She's a beautiful girl from the inside out and will finally represent the Miss Universe organization with grace and diginity. Rachel is a special gem with a sweet demeanor and TN is proud! Plus she's brunette! Also, much love and adoration for Brittany Swann, Miss GA USA who carried the torch so elequantly for us GA peaches.

s I mentioned in my last entry, Saturday night was my second International Fight League event for MyNetwork TV, this one at the Forum in Los Angeles. The show was a mix of Hollywood movie glitter and big time sports atmosphere, with notables ranging from Bill Bellamy and Kate Walsh to Janice Dickinson and newcomer Elijah Kelly fitting in the crowd. My favorite was Ethan Suplee from "My name is Earl"...who trains as well. Even many of the stars of the UFC, including announcer and comedian Joe Rogan to Quentin Jackson came out to witness the great job the IFL is doing. Every time I meet these athletes and coaches I come away more impressed, and this week I got to meet the families of these guys and it's no surprise how they keep going under such tough circumstances...many have great support systems around them, ranging from world class coaches to their wives, girlfriends, kids and parents. You will also get to meet those behind the scenes in the coming weeks. And by the way, I have a new man in my life. Yes, Joe Don approves. This one is from Holland and he's bald and goes by the nickname El Guapo...MMA legend Bas Rutten. Bas and I will take over more of the co-hosting of the show as we move along and maybe he can teach me a move or two in the ring. It's a really good workout!

Im looking forward to more fun to come as I continue to learn all about the IFL, Mixed Martial Arts and the athletes that make up the world's fastest rising pro sport. Check it out Mondays at 9 Eastern and Pacific, 7 Central with a repeat at the same time each Saturday night.
