please go read all of Romans 6. Its only 23 verses and if you are stuck in your past sin and cant get it off your mind, i promise you it will help so much
11In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
everyday is a battle with sin and we have the choice to give into it or not. we have the authority to say no.
you gotta understand that we are no longer slaves to sin. sin is not our master anymore. we dont have to give into the temptation of lust, or pornography, or any of that stuff Jesus died for us to be free from all that crap. we need to realize that if we pray for God to give us the strength to resist and we actually try, that we can do it
you know you feel better when you say no to temptation. it makes you feel like you have power over that sin and we do we have the power to say no to it. we cant keep looking back on our past sin, we have to look forward and decide how to stop it from ever happening again we are human and of course were gonna make mistakes and sin, but we dont have to live in that sin everyday. we can choose not to make the same mistakes over and over.
just think of how proud God will be when you say no to that temptation of sinning. God is proud of you even if you make the effort to say no!

who are you really when your all by yourself? when your alone with your girlfriend? when your alone on the computer? when your at a show? when your with your closest friends? when your around strangers? when your around christians? when your at church? when your around your pastor?
if your answer is your different around everyone you should ask yourself why? why do we change the way we act around certain people? why do think we dont have to act like christians when were around our closest friends?
1 Timothy 4:12:
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
its not saying only act like a christian when your trying to witness to somebody or if your around christians you dont know and your trying to impress them. it says to be an example to believers as well. we should be living the same way no matter who were around or what they believe. you cant be afraid of what anyone thinks about you.
we need to start living like christians. we need to be loving and encouraging to everyone we come in contact with. you could make that persons day or make a life-changing effect in that persons life. you have no idea what that person may be going through so just a little smile or a "how are you?" could change that persons day.
lets start being loving people. loving our neighbor as ourself

why do we make fun of that kid that brings his bible to church? why do we judge worship music bc some songs have the same 4 chords in it? why do we only worship God when we "feel like it"? why arent we acting like christians?
its been on my mind for a while so i feel like i needed to share it. i was in youth a while back and a kind of "nerdy" kid came in with his bible and everyone was like "oh there he is with his bible again" is it bad to bring your bible to church?? noooo sir. why are christians always the first to judge? why do we feel as if we are "too holy" to bring our bible to church?
another situation is i always hear people bad-mouthing worship music because it has the same 4 chords the whole song or theres no cool parts in it or some worship music sounds the same. who cares?? worship music is not made for man. it is made for God. so as long as the lyrics are pleasing to God and your heart is right, it doesnt even matter what the song sounds like. we shouldnt be negative towards worship music we dont like because its not for us, its for God.
lastly, i hear people say a lot "i only lift my hands in worship when i feel like it" or "i only give God praise when i feel like it" im not saying you have to lift your hands to God to worship him but it is a sign of surrender and we need to surrender to God everyday. who cares if you feel awkward or your friends are watching or if its not in a church building on a sunday.
Psalms 134 says " Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD" it is a sign of worship and praise to God. we need to step out of our comfort zone and worship the one who is performing miracles all around us and blessing us and the one who is saving us from Hell.
The greatest commandment is to love the lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and stength. The second is to love your neighbor as yourself.
lets start stepping out and loving on people that need love, that never see love, or that have never experienced love.
Luke 6:32-35:
32"If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them. 33And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that. 34And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' lend to 'sinners,' expecting to be repaid in full. 35But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back.
please... lets start BEING christians not just acting like them.

i heard a sermon a while back that was talking about how sometimes we get too caught up in what were "doing for God" and our image of being a christian rather than our relationship with God and giving all we have to him.
we focus too much on the rules and traditions of chrisitanity. choices are a big part of your life but your not winning your way into heaven by making "good choices"
you can be the nicest person in the world, alcohol free, smoke free, drug free, sex free, and everything else, but that doesnt matter. its your heart thats counts
theres some people that think if they dont cuss or drink or smoke then theyre being a good christian but thats not that the definition at all. we need to do more. we need to seek God and love people
Mark 7: 6-8 says: 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.' You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men."
and its sad to say but sometimes i feel that alot of christians are this way. they pretend to be all spiritual but when theyre with certain friends they will let go of everything they believe and act a complete different way
it doesnt matter if none of your fans or people at church see you act this way because God is the one who judges if you get to go to Heaven or not
so please quit trying to impress men and try to impress God. offer up time to God. spend time in prayer and in the word.
we have so much time in a day and we spend what? 5-10 minutes reading the bible and we only pray before we go to bed?
lets try and offer more than that to our Creator and Savior.
feel free to message us about anything if you need prayer or just someone to talk to =] thanks!
God Bless

To add on to the last blog. We have no intentions of offending anyone, but i feel that a lot of people need to hear this..
We arent saying that church is a bad place and you shouldnt be going, because there are some really great churches out there with people that have hearts for God.
What we are saying is that there are also some churches out there that are very judgmental and wont accept people for who they are. Whether it be if you have tattoos, piercings, dress funny, have different colored hair or any of that stuff.
But that shouldnt be the final decision of whether you follow Jesus or not. Dont let other christian's actions decide what you believe.
So many people meet hypocrite christians and it ruins the whole "christian" name. What makes christians any different than non-christians if we make the same choices as them?
People see christians that smoke, drink, cuss and do all that stuff and they ask themself "what makes them any different then me?" "they go to church on sundays?"
Is that it?! Is that the only difference between us? Being a christian is not the image but its your relationship you have with God. and if you follow God you must read the bible right? Smoking, drinking, or cussing does not make you a bad person at all. But ask yourself how are you different than them if you arent acting any different then them?
If your only answer is that you read the bible and you go to church then you have another thing coming.
I know athiests that read the bible. I know non-christians that go to church to see what were about. So that is not a good enough reason
We are called to reach this world. We need to step out. We need to be different. We need to be christ-like. We need to seek God.
If we dont, then we will never see him move in our cities

so many people get so consumed with religion and their 4 walls that they call a "church" that they dont focus on their relationship with God. We as the body of christ are the church, not the building. They say we have to dress up in a suit for church and all this stuff, but God doesnt look on the outward appearance anyway, only man does. So your only impressing people when you dress up.
-It doesnt matter if you're on the front row of every church service. -It doesnt matter how much offering you give to the church. -It doesnt matter how many times you go to the altar. -It doesnt matter how nice you dress for church. -It doesnt matter how many times you lift your hands. -It doesnt matter how good of a christian everyone "thinks" you are -It doesnt matter if you go through the motions everyday and "play" christianity like a game.
Your life is meaningless if you do that.
focus on God and being christ-like. forget about religion and just follow the bible and your own personal relationship with God
thanks for reading
God Bless
Gabrielle: "Religion is a man made word, in greek it means bondage..sooo in truth..god died for us to be free from sin not bonded. Religion causes too much "hate" and it's filled with hypocrisy, and such...hence why..it's the relationship you have with God, not your religion."
Coleman: "I seen a shirt that describes it perfectly. It said: It's against my relationship to have a religion."
