Right now the songs are collectively called Miracle Lake 0688 or: Someday I Will Forget Everything. One of those two. Or maybe both. Honestly, a lot of it is gibberish. There's at LEAST three times on the recording where I'm just laughing outright. I am not very professional. WTF.

All nine songs were recorded the evening of August 8th at Miracle Lake Studios by the gracious Skyler Norwood. I think Skyler did a fucking bang-up job, especially given the whole thing took a few hours to do.

I owe a bit of thanks to Peter, who got us out there in an old stereo-less Toyota hatchback thing (of which I am envious, being the carless fella). Oh yeah and, Peter also wrote and recorded the violin on "Alliances". As far as I can tell he listened to the song as I tracked (one take!) and then went in and played. Done and done. I think he may have had one punch-in. Fucking skilled. Dude also plays the saw. I'm very impressed by this. Peter does his own songs and is half of the excellent Horse Feathers and I think maybe a seventh of Norfolk and Western. He's also responsible for doing up a quick'n nasty master of the songs.

Skyler plays lots with Point Juncture, WA as well as Team Evil with the great enabler of all of this, Jordan. I owe Jordo a good deal of thanks for putting me up on the lovely ol' Alberta Street, as well as numerous coast trips and airport rides and pretty much fucking everything. The last song was written at his place over that month and is titled appropriately.

That's pretty much the news for now. Anybody who wants the cd let me know, or I should have a mp3 version online for everyone's downloading pleasure. Here's the proper tracklist for those of you who have the songs already. There's going to be at least two more tracks added, though they won't be from the sinful den of Skyler.
