The first leg of our tour is complete!
The trip so far has entailed:
- an eclectic and inventive salad (including vegetarian sausages and strawberries)
- an unenthusiastic bedroom disco party at 2am
- a demonic ceiling fan that spoke to us in whispers when set to 'one', and then screamed when set to 'three' (it was hard to sleep knowing it was up there, and so we didn't)
- singing of Beach Boys in the car, settling on OLAibi and CAN
- meeting Tim's grandma
- finding The Devoted Few to be a charming bunch of people (we are very attached to them now and have needed to call them each night while we've been apart, longing to be together again in Melbourne)
- thinking that The Troubador is a great venue
- discovering Newcastle to have the largest home television antennas in Australia, quite often ridiculously disproportional to the size of the houses
- liking Billy from The Inheritors' homemade button bracelet, and tossing up whether or not to steal his idea, patent the design and then sell them as SD merchandise... but not admitting it
Below are some photos that may or may not relate to the above statements, along a short video about a horse.
