Vet Dr. Martin Dinnes, the veterinarian who cares for the animals at Neverland Ranch has said "I've not talked to anybody else in the media at all. The animals are fine. Our dispute (over payment) is all settled."
"Through all of this, all the principals, and Neverland, and MJJ, and all of Michael's entities knew that even if I didn't get paid," he added, "I was going to take care of those animals."
Dr. Dinnes has worked with Michael for twenty years, helping him to assemble and maintain his private zoo of exotic animals.
Last week, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said that it had investigated a complaint from PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, who expressed concern that the animals at the ranch were being neglected. The agency visited the ranch and found the animals in good condition.
"Attacking the health and welfare of those animals is a direct attack on me, and my credentials are impeccable," said Dr. Dinnes. "We really have nothing to hide. Our doors are open, to the right people. You could eat off the ground on that property."
As anyone who "knows" Michael realizes, he "went first class" in caring for his animals. The animals enjoy architecturally - designed environments especially built for them and Dr. Dinnes has an exemplary reputation.
"Michael and I are very close," Dr. Dinnes said. "We've been close for 20 years. My dispute was not with Michael. It was with his business people. Through everything that Michael went through, their mind wasn't on a lot of things. I've been there with him before, through times when I failed to get a check on time, but they never, ever stuck me, and I was assured they never would again. Something triggered me to file, but it's all settled."
Dr. Dinnes is satisfied that the matter is completely settled. "We got a clean bill of health from the USDA and I have that in writing. I talked to Pete Miller at the Santa Barbara County Animal Services. He's an investigator. I have a long history with them. Pete said 'Marty, I believe whatever you say. I just had to call you because we hear what we consider rumors."
"Contrary to what people are saying in all these looney-toon reports, the animals are fine," said Dr. Dinnes. "I go up there once a week. The animals are well-fed. They're in good condition. It's just not like what's reported.
"My attorney asked the Enquirer (tabloid mag,) 'Where'd you get the information?' They said, PETA. 'Where'd you get the pictures that you took?' They said, 'From a helicopter.'
"You know how you can doctor pictures; I'm just surmising. They did take a picture of the elephants being walked, and they conveniently had a clump of elephant poop around them. They took a picture of the giraffes in the yard, and claimed that there was a dark spot on the ground that they said was blood. Under my watch, that can never happen," said Dr. Dinnes.
PETA admitted that they did not have access to privileged information.

Sources "close to" Michael Jackson told Gulf News that he is becoming more comfortable with his new life in Bahrain. He attended a wedding ceremony at the Gulf Hotel and is temporarily moving into a new mansion.
Michael had been invited by the Al Gosaibi family to the wedding celebration ten days ago. He watched the traditional Arabic wedding from the sidelines after politely declining to be seated nearer to the stage where the newly weds were seated and musicians performing.
The guests were urged not to photograph Michael. His appearances at various public gatherings are on the rise "as he feels closer to the people who have welcomed him graciously" following his acquittal in Santa Barbara last June.
"Only Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama who was one of the lead singers at the ceremony had his picture taken with Jackson."
Michael first lived in a palace upon his arrival. Now, he has moved into a mansion in Sanad. Reports have Michael planning to move to yet another mansion, keeping the Sanad home for visiting relatives and friends. Sources report "He wants his mansion to be by the sea, something that the Sanad residence does not offer.
According to sources, Michael now wishes to lead a normal life, far from the eyes of the media that have followed him since his childhood. "He does not want to be misquoted or falsely portrayed and he wants to make sure that his children are not under public pressure."
"Last week, he went to a local hospital to have his tooth extracted. The visit lasted about 30 minutes. However, his brother, Jermaine, called Bahrain the next day to enquire about the terrible abdomen pains that Michael, according to the US media, was having. It was way too much," the source reported.
Michael reportedly told his entourage that he was feeling increasingly Bahraini, and will be consulting for AAJ Holdings, the company owned by businessman Ahmad Abu Bakr Jahahi. The company plans to set up an amusement park and an entertainment academy in Oman's Blue City.

LONDON - Hundreds of Michael Jackson fans turned up outside a London theatre Saturday to catch a glimpse of the pop star as he arrived to see the stage version of hit movie Billy Elliot.
Security staff forced a path for Jackson, 47, through a crowd of admirers and photographers standing outside the Victoria Palace theatre so he could reach the front door. But the singer fell to the ground in the commotion.
Jackson's children accompanied him to the show but had their faces covered by clothing as they entered the theatre.
Jackson was staying at the Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane. His fans had gathered outside the luxury hotel in hope of seeing him before heading to the theatre.
"We were outside his hotel and there was a rumour that he was coming here, so we came down," said admirer Phillip Goldstone, 22, from east London.
Inside the theatre, Gary Dean, 43, from Ramsgate, sat three rows in front of Jackson during the performance.
He said: “We knew at the interval that he was there and there was some clapping.
Nobody really knew before that because the lights had gone down by the time he came in.’ Roxanne Wisenberg, 47, from San Diego, was one of those people to meet the singer during the interval.
“He talked to us saying hello and there were a lot of people around him,” she said.
“He was very nice and his children were with him.” But chaotic scenes followed as Jackson left the theatre and greeted screaming fans.
He shook hands, took posters and gave his typical wave and victory sign to fans waiting behind police barriers.
But many broke through a barrier to surround his waiting blue people carrier so they could get close to their idol.
And officers had to fend them off so that he could make his getaway.
The scenes echoed similar ones at the Dorchester earlier in the day when Jackson had to abandon plans to exit through the front of the hotel.
Jackson is in London to work on recording a song to benefit Hurricane Katrina victims.

Guinness Book Of World Records 1993 Lifetime Achievement Award
Honorable Mention Greatest Distance Moonwalked in One Hour Adam Hall of San Francisco, California, was over the moon aftering moonwalking through the backstreets of Denver, Colorado, for a distance of 2.41 km (1.5 miles) in one hour on October 22, 2002. A "moonwalk support crew" shadowed 25-year-old Adam in an automobile, measuring his distance with an odometer. The record-setting walk formed part of a longer "Moonwalk for Earth" relay with Ramsey Brookhart (USA) and Joshua Dodd (USA), an attempt to raise awareness of renewable forms of energy. "We live under this brown cloud," said Hall, "and people don't seem to understand how much of that comes from burning coal to provide electricity. We want people to know that there are other ways to make electricity."
The Moonwalk is the creation of pop king Michael Jackson. He first electrified audiences with the incredible backwards glide on May 16, 1983, during a performance of "Billie Jean" on Motown’s 25th Anniversary Special TV broadcast.

For several years I have been hearing from my fan friends in London about Anthony King. It started when a friend I was corresponding with just happened to be passing through Covent Gardens and heard Michael’s music blaring out, so he had to check it out.
“Karen! There is the wonderful dance class in London… this guy named Anthony King has a class on all of Michael’s moves. It was amazing… all the people, all different ages, in the class were having such a great time. If you ever get to London you must check this out.”
Well folks, here is Anthony…
My name is Anthony King and I'm a dancer and choreographer from London, England. I learned my moves from the best teacher... Michael Jackson! People always ask me to "bust a move" or teach them the moonwalk so I decided to invite all my friends to teach them at the world famous "Pineapple Dance Studios". People started turning up from all over the world to my classes! It just grew from there! What started out as a dream turned into..."Anthony King's: Michael Jackson Style Dance class"!
It is a joy to teach Michael's style. I see his dancing as a style just as I see Ballet or Modern jazz… the themes and motifs that run through the dance that he creates are technical and quite simply amazing. I sometimes get bored teaching "Street" or "Hip Hop" but never teaching Michael's style and moves… it's such a joy!
When Michael's music starts everything stops and I take so much joy that young people, old people and people who would never usually enter a dance studio or a gym, dance and have so much fun! (and boy… do we have some fun!)
My class has also been recommended by THE SUN newspaper and described as the "Next big thing" in ELLEgirl as well as featured on UK television......the fact remains..WE ALL LOVE MICHAEL and it is not surprising that people are so happy dancing to the music of the greatest dancer (and artist) Michael Jackson!
Anthony King can be contacted by email: anthony@anthony-king.com

By Quintin Cushner/Senior Staff Writer, SANTA MARIA TIMES
Court TV anchor Diane Dimond this week dropped her restraining order against a Michael Jackson enthusiast from Tennessee who hurled insults at her throughout the pop star's five-month trial in Santa Maria.
Judge Zel Cantor announced in Santa Maria Superior Court Wednesday that Dimond had dismissed the complaint against 18-year-old B.J. Hickman.
On June 9, Dimond slapped the order on Hickman, prohibiting him from coming within 20 yards of her. Hickman, who moved from Knoxville, Tenn. to attend Jackson's trial, often disrupted Dimond's live broadcasts by calling her a "liar," and worse.
Hickman perceived the reporter as pro-prosecution. During jury deliberations in the Jackson case, Hickman hosted a press conference attended by hordes of television and newspaper reporters, denying that he harassed the journalist.
Hickman later demanded in court documents that Dimond pay $30,000 in attorney's fees he claimed to have accumulated while fighting the order. Dimond filed a counter-complaint, requesting that Hickman pay $4,555 in legal bills she supposedly accrued.
A financial settlement was reached this week, but terms were not disclosed in court documents.
Santa Maria attorney Gerardo Camacho, who represented Hickman in the case, declined to comment on specifics from the settlement.
"My client is satisfied," Camacho said, adding that Hickman has returned home to Tennessee. "He's ready to put all this behind him."
Calls to Dimond and her attorney, Seth Gold, were not returned Wednesday.
Dimond, who has covered Jackson's legal woes for more than a decade, is writing a book about the pop star.
A jury in Santa Maria acquitted Jackson on June 13 of child molestation, alcohol and conspiracy charges.

(AP) Ever since his acquittal on child molestation charges, there's been talk that Michael Jackson is shopping around for a new country to call home. A published report is hinting that the home the pop star may have settled upon is in Bahrain.
The New York Post quotes sources as saying Jackson has bought 14 acres of land in Bahrain, near the palace home of a sheik who's a good pal of his. The paper says its sources say Jackson has enjoyed his vacation in Bahrain because he can dress in the same way as the local residents and go out without being noticed.
Maybe so - there's also been speculation the singer might move to Berlin. Two of Jackson's lawyers say they know of no plans for the pop star to buy land in Bahrain.
The lawyers have been very successful in guarding Jackson's privacy - to the point that some legal experts worry a court ruling last week could become a precedent shutting off public access to information in high-profile cases.
In a one-sentence decision Wednesday, the California Supreme Court denied a request by news organizations, including The Associated Press, to "depublish" the ruling - meaning it will stay on the legal books and can be used by judges and lawyers on the issue of sealing documents in other cases. The ruling was made available Friday.
"It is a very dangerous precedent because it gives the court an opportunity to close out the public from critical information during a high-publicity trial," said Loyola Law School professor Laurie Levenson. "This formalizes the celebrity exception to the First Amendment."
A three-member panel of the 2nd District Court of Appeal ruled in April that the judge in Jackson's child molestation trial had been justified in sealing dozens of court records.
The judge has said releasing the documents could have prejudiced the jury pool. He said he was protecting the fair trial right of the pop superstar who was acquitted of all charges in June.
News organizations protested the unprecedented secrecy before and during the trial. When much of it was upheld by the appeals court they moved to "depublish" the opinion so that it could not be cited as precedent in the future. The high court refused, without comment.
Attorney Theodore Boutrous Jr., who argued the case on behalf of the news media, said in an interview Monday that he hopes the case will not be applied in future cases.
"The argument that the Jackson lawyers made for secrecy was that this was a special case," Boutrous said. "It should have extraordinarily limited application, but there is the danger it will be applied to other cases."
County Counsel Stephen Shane Stark said in a letter that the case could help judges in other high-profile cases decide whether to seal court documents.
"The media's insatiable quest for stories that showcase criminal behavior illustrates why this decision is significant and should remain published," Stark said. "While admittedly a Michael Jackson case does not happen very frequently, the media presents for public consumption a new crime story seemingly every day."
Attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr., who represented Jackson at his trial, had pressed the judge to keep secret several documents, including details of the indictment and the grand jury transcripts. The appeals court did say the indictment should have been public before trial.
