Michael Jackson died suddenly as we all know and the media as always is riding the story with no end in sight.
Michael had his problems but he will always be the king of Pop and his music will live on forever.

Ed McMahon

The Announcer for the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson was a sweet man who always entertained. Ed's death touched me deeply. As a huge supporter of the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon, I was saddened when Ed was not remembered for the hard work he did for Jerry, except by the Muscular Dystrophy Association themselves.

Ed will never be forgotten and the fight will have to go on without him, I will miss hearing his introductions each year on the telethon.

New Zealand newscasts, riding the waves of celebrity deaths this week incorrectly reported that Jeff Goldblum had fallen off a cliff to his death.
Appearing on the Colbert Report www.colbertnation.com Jeff Goldblum did a skit about the false report on his death. I am Happy to report that Jeff Goldblum is the one exception to all the factual deaths this week.

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan who went into Exile.

Assasinated in Pakistan December 27, 2007.

This is a sad day for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan for I do not believe a word that comes out of Pervez Musharaff's mouth. I think he is full of hot air and I believe that he is responsible for the death of Bhutto.
She herself said if she was assasinated she would blame him.
Well now that she has been assasinated I believe the blame does fall on him.
Declaring  Martial Law, Sacking Judges that were gonna tell him no to a repeated 3rd term in Office and putting her under house arrest when she returned to Pakistan.
I followed the story of the turmoil in Pakistan closely and I am now in mourning with Pakistan over Bhutto's death. I don't blog much unless I feel it is important. I ask you if you don't know who Bhutto is to learn about her, come to know what she stood for and join me in keeping her memory alive. Though I never met Ms. Bhutto I feel the same fire and passion about democracy that she did. It pains me to know that someone assasinated her but God bless her for giving her life so that Pakistan might be free.

This is a very important subject that I couldn't wait even one more day to speak out on.
Last Week President Musharraf declared a State Of Emergency in Pakistan to prevent the election of a new President. He declared Martial Law and has jailed most of the lawyers and congresspeople who stand in his way of political office that he has no further right to.
This could happen to America people and It is time that we Americans speak up for Pakistan and raise our voice as this could be us someday in this position.
Benazir Bhutto, former president of Pakistan returned to Pakistan and is now fighting to restore freedom there but this is something that America may have very little control over so we just need to keep praying that God will restore civil order to Pakistan as soon as possible.

Measure 50 is a can of worms lets leave it at that.
Constitution would be open for all sorts of changes. I'm not about to allow that
That is why I'm not afraid to reveal my vote on this measure. I'm voting no on Measure 50. It sounds good but just like the anti-christ it is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
It claims it will provide health care coverage to a countless number of Oregon's children. Yeah right they said the same thing about the lottery giving it's proceeds to the school's then the lottery started getting broke apart for all sort's of different causes.
Measure 50 is just another promise that will be broken and it also open's up the State Of Oregon's Constitution to Countless changes. Plus where does the money come from. Once again the burden is passed on to smoker's. The government thinks by taking the money away from smoker's they will beat their habit.

My thoughts on Measure 49 due up for a vote here in Oregon on November 6th is this. Measure 49 will clarify and give better understanding to land use rights and give property owners back rights that measure 37 basically killed off at least this is my understanding.

That is why I'm voting well I'm Voting! Oh heck people If I told you it wouldn't be secret ballot now would it.

After Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) declared an all nighter and forced Congress into an all nighter after the Republicans forced a Filibuster to avoid a vote that would have started to bring our troops home in 120 days Republicans voted to support their president once again and ignore the will of the american people who know what they are talking about.

Shame on you!
